This is my absolute favorite Starbucks in the area. I'm a regular, and visit and hang out multiple times per week (sometimes for work, sometimes for social). There's a community of regulars who also come, and lots of socializing. It's a lovely place to see and speak with people in the community, work, read, etc. The staff is absolutely awesome. Alex, the manager, is wonderful and she's got an amazing team -- Pam, KC, Siouxie, Garrett, Jose, Max and so many others. Many of us know the staff by name and they're always going out of their way to be helpful. Really warm, professional, inviting, and helpful. Yeah it can be busy, but that's because it's popular -- loads of people come in, and the staff is doing their best to make sure everyone is taken care of. I hear that the location is going to get an upgrade of furniture (which would be awesome), and can't wait. Kind of has the social and energy vibe of the University Village location here, which I dig as someone who originally hails from San Francisco. Thrilled that it exists in the city, and very much appreciate the wonderful job that Alex and her crew does on a regular basis. Again, it can be a madhouse at certain times of day, and it's busy, but that's what a neighborhood spot should be like. And I am very thankful for it. read more

A popular Starbucks location in Sammamish Issaquah Plateau area. I am impressed by their layout. It's very inviting and has room for you to collaborate or work individually while enjoying your breakfast and coffee. The staff were very friendly. Everybody said hello. I ordered my usual coffee and they brought it out to me, that was nice. They were very busy with all the students , but they stayed on top of all the orders and I didn't feel rushed or neglected overall I'd say Starbucks is improving from old reputation they may have had. read more

This Starbucks needs to get retrained. They seam to not know how to make drinks or get drinks and food out in a timely manner. It took 30 mins to get my drink while a 2 or three employees were looking "busy" and only one was working on drinks. There are 2 other Starbucks within a 1/2 mile. This is the original Starbucks...JUST KIDDING! This location is one of the hundreds if not thousands of Starbucks in the Seattle area. This location is in a strip mall and is pretty spacious. They sell all the usual Starbucks goods including lunch options and salads. There are plenty of seats from tables to soft chairs. Wifi is available so bring your laptop and work away! read more

Order a ice lemonade and toasted bagel My drink is made and 5 min go by and im curious whats going on so I ask and they tell me "oh the cashier" is taking care of it. Since this is my nearest location I come here quite often and most of the employees are very nice , however there is one lady by the name of DEANN who is the worst employee they have . She is sooooo rude to the customers and her co workers . I've never witnessed a barista as rude as her !!! If the store manager reads this I really hope you do something about it , it's that bad. I had to meet someone en route work this morning, so we picked Starbucks. Easy to find, convenient location - plus I've got some gift cards and a hankering for a steamed milk this morning. Starbucks was the perfect choice. I don't know why, but this Starbucks was about 100 degrees inside. The line wasn't too bad, and I'll be honest, it wasn't all that crowded at 9:30. So why was it so hot? Is there something wrong with the thermostat? I normally don't mind a little heat (especially with the weather we've been getting lately), but this was too much. I instantly felt irritation and sweat forming on my forehead as I waited for my turn to order. The barista asked to start my drink while I was waiting to pay. I asked for a venti soy milk with a shot of hazelnut syrup - lightly steamed, not that hot. The responses "So how many shots do you normally get in your venti ice latte?" Uhm, were the words "iced" or "latte" in my order? No. Not at all. Just because this is a coffee joint, you cannot reasonably assume that everyone wants a drink with coffee. Also, what part of steamed implied iced? Really? I think someone needs to go back to Starbucks barista training and relearn some listening skills! At least the cashier was pleasant enough, and I didn't have to wait long for my drink so that I could jet outside and sit in the brisk cool of morning air. Ugh. Summary: Good Coffee, Lots of Screaming Kids This Starbucks is OK (yes, individual locations to vary), but is marred by tons of unsupervised, screaming Indigo children (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indigo_children), each more special and above-average than the other. I've seen screaming, unsupervised children running throughout the restaurant, while their unconcerned mothers chatter blithely away, only looking up when one falls and starts screaming even more loudly than before. I've been to Chucky Cheese, and can see how one might easily confuse the two. If you want the ultimate in sensory attack, visit this restaurant any Wednesday, before about 9:30AM. You see, Wednesday is the Public School teacher's "day of slack" where they sleep in, watch Oprah, etc. There is a Junior High right across the street, so all the latchkey kids get dumped off early by parents on their way to work, with nothing else to do but invade this particular Starbucks. You can hear the noise build to a deafening cresendo, right before they have to leave for school - it's unbelievably loud. If you're looking for a place to dump your Indigo child while you get your mini van serviced or your nails done, this is your place. If you want a peaceful, relaxing coffee experience, you would be better served by going elsewhere. read more

I am a big fan of the mobile order app so I can skip the busy lines at this location tonight though I mobile ordered and nobody was in line. As I'm watching the barista make my double tall nonfat latte in a grande cup and proceed to then realize her mistake and pour my drink into a tall cup making it basically warm milk I am not too thrilled especially when I need this coffee to stay awake tonight and no time for me to have her remake it very disappointed in something that is a very easy thing to me. Not sure why she just didn't give me the grande drink and say sorry for the mistake. Also raw sugar must still be in the other cup. read more

this is usually my favorite place to get drinks and I go to Starbucks on the weekly. I walk in and I see a barista that I haven't really seen before and ask her if I can get a vanilla iced coffee (my regular). I order this almost every time and for some reason today when I watched it getting ready she poured black coffee and put a lot of ice in it and put in vanilla sweetener which my normal usually has milk in it. when I asked her what drink it was she told me it was an iced coffee with vanilla sweetener and walked off before I could ask anything more to get a new drink. there wasn't a lot of staff and when I first walked up to order the 3 if them looked at eachother and didn't come to ask what drink I wanted until 5 minutes later. read more

This is a very busy location and I am very understanding of that as I also work in the pine lake village. Most of the time my service and drinks are great. Pam is my favorite, she is amazing!! Always smiling and makes amazing drinks! There is one woman who has been there a few months with white shoulder length hair and glasses who just doesn't seem to care, she never smiles and always seems to make my drinks wrong and always adds way too much ice even though I specifically order drinks with light ice. A customer should get what they pay for. Other than that still love this location! read more

I love this space and always enjoy Starbucks. This store is severely understaffed - especially in the mornings, one barista making drinks and two on the registers, one is also doing warm food. This has a high mobile app order ahead clientele and should be much better staffed, 10+ people waiting. Clearly poor management... Starbucks you need to do better and I will be emailing corporate this info. As well. All are always friendly, which I imagine can be hard when you are understaffed and overworked. read more

Came here today hoping they have improved. NO! Arrived and there were no other customer in line. Three baristas where there and no one acknowledged me. Someone came took my order. I saw the tall girl making drinks many of them by the way. This is strange I remember not seeing anyone ordering. They took for ever to do those drinks a total of 6 . Then she left and I was wondering why will she leave when I am waiting for my drink. The other girl was removing straws and did not care. Then another one saw me and she did not have any option than to do my drink. Then there was hardly any milk in my coffee. Also I have noticed that the tall cup is skinnier. No apologies for the wait. About 10 min ago, I ordered a Tall peach green tea lemonade. Very friendly cashier placed my order. I specifically asked for light ice. The drink was preped by a young lady. The ice inside the cup appeared full from top to bottom. I asked the lady " Would you please give me one with light ice". Young lady took the cup back, poured out more ice and added more CONCENTRATED lemonade in my cup and gave it back to me, with an attitude on her face. Now I am drinking a cup of lemonade instead of a peach green tea lemonade as I ordered. I fell bad for this lady. If this is not the right or happy place to work, please find a job that you like better. read more

Very very sad. This used to be my favorite Starbucks location but this afternoon I went to get my coffee and the lady working was so rude. I got the blonde roast made in the clover. I was telling my mom how the clover made the coffee taste better and I asked the barista why all the locations do not have the clover. Don't rely on old reviews, this is one of the best Starbucks around. Hardly ever a "burned" taste and they always are quick and smiling. Yes, it is busy and sometimes seating is limited...but that should be a sign things are good. read more

Slow and incompetent service. The mobile app said it would be done in a few minutes but I actually ended up having to stand in line to "reorder" because they said they never got it. Then, they made me the wrong drink not once, not twice, and not even after the third try. I eventually quit trying to get what I ordered and decided to just drink what they wanted me to have since I was, at this point, parched beyond recognition. I should have paid better attention to the rating on the King County food quality poster (which was actually moved behind a sandwich board). I never thought a chain store like Starbucks could fail so miserably, but this one sure managed to do so!!! read more

Been going here for years, the barista crew just seems to have gotten more lazy. I ask for simple things like whip (on a drink that already is supposed to come with it) and they still don't put it on. Drink has been tasting more and more like burnt espresso. Love the atmosphere, don't love the staff. Starbucks inside of QFC next to it does a much better job. read more
