Worst Starbucks EVER! Not only did they mix up our order, but after 25 minutes of waiting for our two drinks to be made (grande skinny peppermint mocha) the barista announced, "there is no more skinny peppermint syrup" and looked at me as if I was supposed to provide the alternative. I asked for skinny drink alternatives and she was so frazzled she could barely speak. When I asked her why it took 25 minutes to let me know there was a shortage, she replied, "I didn't take your order." To me, that one statement showed this location has a significant lack of communication. By the way, our drink order wasn't the only one with "it's wrong" issues. Shift leaders and managers need to pay more attention to everything in this location. Lastly, it would have been nice had she offered a refund for the difference in price since we paid for one drink and received a less expensive one. read more

I am proud to say that I am a big fan of Starbucks. I have been to so many places, for fun, traveling, business, living, staying, hanging out, etc, and there is Starbucks. It's standard, consistent, clean and fresh. I love the fragrance of brewed coffee, taste of Triple Americano on the Sunday morning. If I am in town, this is the place I pick up my coffee and stick around for awhile before hitting the gym or run. I drink coffee from this place very often. It's in the small town where I live. I like the location of this place. It's closest to the I-85 freeway. Probably, convenient for many people flying off of I-85. Besides coffee, free internet and place to chill out, it's fun place to watch people. This place gets lot of foot traffic. Sometimes, when the weather is good, I bike here and pick coffee. By far, this is my favorite Starbucks location on this I-85 corridor between Charlotte and Greensboro. read more

It's close to 85... So there's a free star. I stop here every Monday on my commute to Greensboro from ATL. Every other visit they either screw up or forget my order... Latte and a sandwich. This Starbucks is going to have to step up its game with that new Panera just across the street now. A couple of my main gripes: - Store hours are extremely limited; maybe it's because I live in a large metropolitan area (Dallas-Fort Worth) and most Starbucks are open to at least 10pm, but this location closing at 7pm every day seems a little ridiculous. Maybe the local Salisbury clientele don't do coffee and such when it gets dark, so I guess it may be warranted, but with the Panera across the street open until at least 9pm most nights, Starbucks might need to be wary. With Port CIty Java leaving their location near Catawba College, there will be some college students needing a caffeine fix after 7pm. - Service is slower than most Starbucks I've been to...I'm a gold card member, have been for several years, and have patronized many a Starbucks. You don't want your customers standing around waiting too long for their drinks...they begin to wonder what is taking so long and then decide they will update their Yelp review. Ahem. Location is good, got decent traffic with a Subway and that yogurt place as neighbors. No reason that this Starbucks couldn't stay open until at least 9pm, 10 or 11pm on weekends. This Starbucks has a far superior in and out access to that of Panera, so making use of equalizing the hours between the two stores could balance out the competition. No reason this Starbucks shouldn't still own Salisbury when it comes to coffee. I'll see you again in December... read more

This Starbucks is a whole different story. So google maps says that they are open, at 4:38 on a Wednesday but not surprisingly, they are closed for an unknown reason. Multiple times I have come to this Starbucks and they have been closed in the middle of the day, no holidays or anything without warning. One of the best Iv been to! The wait time was long but only due to popularity. The staff was completely accommodating, super kind, fast service, and never made me feel awkward with my strange order (iced London fog latte with a a side cup of whip) like most do at other locations! Been to this location a few times and have to say that we've found that it's typically very slow and generally not very clean. I felt compelled to write a review after out latest visit. Warm creamer was left out for who knows how long for customers to use and horribly dirty bathrooms that smelled of old urine. Disappointing location that gives the chain a bad name with poor service and filth. FYI, the drive through locks you in to wait for painfully service too. read more

This Starbucks is located right off the highway, but I gave it only two stars because it is SO SLOW the people working seem to be on half speed. There's always a long line and a long wait, even though it's not packed. It's not that it's busy, the workers are just slow. I've never been in an out in less than 15 minutes, and I regularly at 7am. Three words: Drive thru coffee! This place is great because it's right off the exit from 85, the staff moves quickly, they have a drive-thru for your caffeine fix, and their bathrooms are always clean. In recent years I've noticed the parking lot has become more crowded, probably because there are a bunch of newer shops there, but the parking situation is worst during lunchtime. Remember that you'll have to exit to the left to reach a traffic light -- exiting to the right will mean you can't turn left and get back to 85. read more

Easy to get to right off the interstate which is nice for this directionally challenged girl from out-of-town. Not too crowded that morning, yet they got my order of a Cafe Misto and breakfast sandwich out as soon as possible. I grabbed a table inside and read the paper before a work meeting. This is the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. Currently, I have sat 25 minutes in the drive through and I am still about 40 ft from where I place my order. Why haven't I left? Because there is no way to turn your car around once your stuck in the god forsaken parking lot that is more like a roller coaster queue than a fast food line. There should definitely be a sign to warn you that from this point you will be waiting 45 minutes for your cup of whatever will be cold by the time you pick it up. read more

I went to the drive thru on Saturday morning. I was halfway through my order when I was rudely interrupted to please wait. After waiting for 5 minutes, the woman came back and began treating me like a completely new customer. I told her I needed to finish my order and she repeated what I had already said (which made no sense). When I finally got up to the window (25 minutes after ordering and sitting in line) I was given only my drinks. I had also ordered two pieces of banana bread (one of which wasn't even banana, it was pumpkin, which I hate) and the woman wasn't wearing a uniform. She was wearing a black and white striped shirt and was so unbelievably rude. She didn't greet me, didn't say thank you, and quickly shut the window in my face. I will never come back here again because of this woman's awful customer service and awful attitude. I would rather go to Dunkin' Donuts. read more

We go to this Starbucks a lot most of the time the service is pretty fast and friendly. if they make a mistake they imminently apologize and correct it. i'm here probably once a week. They remember me and always ask if id like the same drink or something else. most of the time i get my regular, grande triple soy white mocha. I feel bad for the staff the store is small and narrow for were the coffee is made it seems like a bit stressful. i think they may need another one is this town eventually. read more
