Went to drive up ordered and noticed a rat trap lid was left open by the back door of Starbucks. Asked associate if they could just close it so dogs and wildlife would not eat rat poison and be injured or killed essentially. Associate said it was not their rat trap that it belonged to restaurant down the street. I said that may be so but it is by your back door so can't you just close it? She said No, it's not our problem, it does not belong to us. I said, So you don't care if an animal gets poisoned? It is simple to fix. She shrugs and says, no she doesn't. Before she just walked away and I couldn't even get my receipt I said (kinda disappointed at this point), something like Well, if a dog dies it is on your account and drove off with my $6.00 coffee (that really does not taste all that good for the money). The bad review is my fault. I've had problems here before but my impatience made me stop here. No one greeted us on arrival even though they were not busy at all. We stood there for about a minute before we were even acknowledged. Ordered a coffee and a peppermint mocha but they were out of peppermint. We told them to just forget it. I am a regular customer & this store is my favorite, they always go above and beyond. On 2/18 around 9:30am there was a short jet black hair lady who I assume is a manager was extremely rude to the baristas. There were multiple people in the lobby and it was obvious to everyone how rude and inconsiderate she was to everyone in the store but especially the baristas. I hope she isn't a manager, I would personally hate it! She also had nails which I thought was strange since talking with some of the baristas I learned they are not allowed to have them... way to lead by example! She needs to get a grip! read more

I've been coming out here since I moved here in August and have never ever had a problem wrong with my drink. ( venti iced white mocha with SWEET cream cold foam and Carmel drizzle.) up until the past three times I've came. Them being lazy do not make the sweet cream cold foam and do whipped cream instead. ( which is absolutely disgusting) and the first time I told the girl about it she caught attitude with me and told me " well sweet cream cold foam and whipped cream are completely different flavors " ( IVE got this drink over a hundred times, it's THE ONLY drink I get so out of everyone I KNOW LOL ! ) and then the last two other times including today I've had it sent back. When you order the person at the register is not even able to remember your order to write it on your cup. The barista has her nose so far up in the air she would drown in a rainstorm. Like most locations. Good service and great to have an iced tea on a day like this. I know iced tea sounds funny, but after climbing over boulders in this blazing sun looking for Indian rock art, a nice venti iced tea is the go to drink for me. I can enjoy an espresso later. I understand COVID has caused things to be a little different than normal, but I just had the most terrible experience at this Starbucks. One of the baristas put my drink at the main counter instead of the "mobile order" counter, didn't know there were two because the other counter was kind of hidden. Didn't call my name, I waited for what seemed like 10-15 minutes, was the only one in the store then she finally rudely said...your drink has been sitting here for a while. When I went to grab it, one had whipped cheese, which I did not order, so I said that I ordered it without. Great service from the baristas! They were short staffed and very busy, another customer demanded their drink be made first because she left late for a shuttle and they were kind and accommodating. This Starbucks is in the Northwest vicinity of St. George, and the only Starbucks along Utah Route 18, a heavily travel led St. George thoroughfare. On the way back from Snow Canyon State Park, out of all things I pulled in here to replenish my thirst with a bottle of Ethos water ($2), and hang out in a comfortable establishment like Starbucks. When I hung out here around 3 PM, there was a Happy Hour promotion where a Frapucino is half price. I gave the newest flavor, Coconut Mocha a tasting. For the record I recommend it. I especially enjoyed the sprinkling of coconut flakes mixed in with the whip cream. As far as a Starbucks experience, this Starbucks gets good ratings. There seemed to be an abundance of sofa and plush seating. The cafe kind of reminded me of the inside of a Victorian cottage. There is a neat bulletin board displaying pictures of customers pets and Starbucks locations throughout the world. This Starbucks affords a great view of the Red Cliffs. I ordered a grande half-caf whole milk latte. Simple enough, right? I watched as the barista made it using some whole milk and some low-fat milk. I pointed this out and said I had requested - and paid extra for - whole milk. Her response was that she used whole milk. When I pointed out that I had watched her make my drink and use the blue-top jug (low-fat), she then responded that she had only used "some" low-fat milk to top it off. If I had wanted low-fat milk, I certainly wouldn't have paid extra for whole milk. After a brief dirty look, she said she would remake it. Disgusting restrooms and extremely discourteous staff. I can't believe the state of the facilities here!! Awful! Worse than any stadium or theme park bathroom I've ever been in. Dirty footprints all over the floor, trash everywhere, pee all over the toilet seat- just nasty! The staff don't smile or great you nicely at all. I was waiting for a companion who is in the restroom, not near the counter and an employee just spews "are you gonna order something?!?" At me. I reply "no, I'm waiting for someone in the restroom". My coworker and I are in St George for work and needed a place between meetings to sit down, plug in our computers and work for a bit. We both got drinks and something to eat and sat at one of the open tables with a plug. The tables are tiny and we couldn't both work on our laptops at one comfortably. There were plenty of open tables so we grabbed an empty one and put it next to the other one we were sitting at and pulled the chairs over. My coworker and I each sat our backpacks on the chairs next to us and sat kitty corner to each other. An older female employee with short blonde hair (who was conveniently not wearing a name tag) was very abrasive and said "I am not okay with you using chairs for backpacks". I explained that we were just trying to give ourselves room and she said "I get that but if someone needs a chair I'm going to steal those. Backpacks don't need chairs". We proceeded to move our backpacks to the back of our chairs and work. She then rolled her eyes at us. Mind you, there were 3 other empty tables and a bench area. And two other tables that were being used were one person sitting at them with a computer, which is the same as we were doing, just next to each other..... As we sat in the shop for a bit a couple of men walked in and placed their order with her. One of them tried to hand her their credit card and she said, "No, put it in right there. I don't want to touch your card. I don't know if you do creepy stuff to your card". This took everyone who heard it, including another employee, by surprise. A short time later an older male employee showed up. He worked for a bit and then went to the bathroom wearing his apron. As he came out he was drying his hands on his apron. First of all, this should have not even been worn into the bathroom, and it especially shouldn't have been used as a towel. Very clean store. Warm & kind people working their counter. Lots of easily accessible free parking. They have a drive up window and use headsets to facilitate communication with the counter line. This is a step ahead of what we've yet seen at other starbucks. The only downside to this location is the confusing directions posted by the Yelp location service. I can't blame the store for that. Yelp has you drive past them then tells you you've arrived after you're on your way elsewhere. We were just happy to find a Starbucks on this part of Utah. read more
