Hi, I'm Chris and I'm a Starbucks addict. This was my first time at this specific location and won't be my last. There was no line, barista was friendly and quick. I stopped by my house but they were out of Via packets I needed/wanted so I came here on the way to spend time with fam. I'm not sure his name but he was friendly, checked that their location had the product I was looking for and was quick. Got what I came for and left with a smile. Thanks Starbucks! I'm really disappointed with my drink today. The barista didn't mix the drink properly, and it didn't taste the way it usually does. I always order this same drink, and it's normally made with care and tastes great. This time, I felt like I wasted my money. Stopped by a few night ago with some friends and had a very tasty pumpkin spice latte. The place was decently busy but we were able to find a place to seat no problem. Service was good and the staff were friendly. This is a very convenient location for our group of friends so I see us coming again. read more

I go to this Starbucks a lot because it's close to my house. Service has always been good but there's frequently homeless people in there. One of the several times this had happened, a homeless man was sitting at a table with all his stuff and started vaping inside. It went on for a few minutes before a lady sitting at the table next to me was shocked and asked me if he was smoking inside. Then she turned and asked him if he was smoking inside. With that, he grabbed his stuff and left but I never know who will be sitting in there when I show up. read more

Drive thru has been closed for months. Drive thru line is extremely long and slow. They have someone sitting at a table blocking the door way taking "mobile orders". What a joke. Pick the Starbucks .4 miles to the south on Scottsdale road and Chauncey. Their lobby is open. Place is a joke. read more

Staff are great but the homeless people who stay there for the work day make the place smell like a diaper.

I don't usually go to this store but stopped by to grab a coffee. Staff ignored me when I came in... no line and lots of employees talking to each other behind the counter... I tried to say hi twice and get the attention of the two staff closest to the counter right behind the barista machine who did not even look up or say anything. Finally, someone else behind the counter noticed me and took my order but overall It was a bizarre experience. read more

This is the third time I've gotten a drink from here that they half ass fill it up! If I'm paying $6-$7 for a drink all I ask is that it's fill up all the way!! read more

I usually give Starbucks 4 to 5 stars and go to a lot of their locations. The problem with this one is they have shut down the indoor seating area for months(which has very nice furnishings). To make things worse, they would not even let me sit outside on one of their chairs(a first time for me at S Bucks)and there is no real patio. Apparently, the drive thru is active but a lot of people walk and bicycle. read more

When you pay in cash, Have you ever paid the coins over the amount so that the change coming back is paper cash? Whelp, don't expect this location to get that. My bill was $9.45 and I miss heard them and gave them $10.35 so I could get the $1 back and not all the coins. Without asking if I meant to pay 10cents short, he just gave me the change. When I asked about it he shrugged and said some people want it that way. Seriously though, in what world would someone do this?? It Makes zero sense to give me back the coins I just gave you. I know for sure that I'm not going to drop in the tip jar like he assumed. Thanks guys glad to have stopped by and get more change for my wallet. I don't understand why cash handling is so hard to comprehend these days. It seems people have gotten lazy in their calculations due to the ease of credit use. It's a shame. PS. This is one of the nicest Starbucks I have ever been to! It is spacious, the staff is super friendly, albeit a little slow at making drinks but for the most part it is one of my favorite locations! There's plenty of seating, even some super comfortable chairs and the store is very spacious, and is great for relaxing, catching up with a friend, or working ! ! I also tried the bacon and Parmesan egg bites for the first time this morning and they were scrumptious! Overall I love coming here because the drinks are consistency great and the staff is always so welcoming and friendly! read more

This Starbucks is by far the worst. The drive thru line was extremely long so I decided to go inside and order. 2 people in front of me, no big deal. But the 2 baristas are prioritizing the drive thru line so what should take 5 mins is turning into 20. So ridiculous! read more

This might be the slowest Starbucks I've ever been to. It also doesn't help that those who work here appear to hate their jobs. I hate to write this review.... But I must have come at the WRONG time of day... Today's date 11/21/14 @ 6:36pm. To start, I came i, and when I went to the counter to order, the guy with a beard seemed unhappy that I came in. I asked if they still had peach flavoring, The girl with glasses and a pony tail immediately tells me "no we don't. That's only a summer thing and we can't order it." the way she said this made me feel stupid for even asking... I replied "I know some stores still have it, that is why I just wanted to ask." Then after I ordered a berry refresher, the same girl and guy were asking each other to make it-in a way that made it seem like neither of them wanted to do it. When the girl said my drink and put it at the bar, I approached and thanked them and her response was, "yep." as she walked into the back sipping her drink(what looked to be a tea). Not only did I feel stupid for ASKING if they peach flavoring, but I did not feel valued as a customer.. I honestly wanted to walk out after my first question... I hate to write this review because there are some people that are always SOOO nice when I go in. It has made me want to actually work at this location (I worked at a different location [FWL/101] which I ended up leaving because of a terrible work experience- another story...) but after seeing these two employees, I really don't want to even bother thinking about that anymore. The two employees who have been nothing but AMAZING are Sebrina, and a taller lady with short bleached blonde hair.- usually work morning/midday. They really take customer service to an amazing height and really do make you feel valued. read more

Times are tough and being short on staff, etc gives everyone a little slack. They can be slow and not as forthcoming with customer service but they get work done either way. I go every week. My only advice would be for the manager to be more friendly because you get a lot of repeat customers who appreciate the extra personalization and kindness. read more

This location is terrible. Mobile orders are turned on yet you have to go through the drive through to pick them up... so your drink is left to get cold or for the ice to melt. The inside is still not open. So basically as lazy as it gets. Good job Starbucks. read more

Two stars pretty much describes it. "Meh. I've experienced better" as the blurb in Yelp states for the two star rating. It sucks when you go to a Starbucks that lacks AC outlets... I really miss the ones in Southern California where they build in several power strips to maximize the availability of ports that you can plug your laptop into. This Starbucks has a power strip across a table so that if you plug into it, you've now created a tripping hazard for customers trying to get to the restrooms. Then the other power strip is by some sofas, not useful for customers that are trying to do work on their laptops, requiring a table where they can not only put their laptop on the table, but also their mouse to leverage smart-user capabilities. So, I couldn't even stay here for more than an hour since the applications I was using, plus the laptop cooler I was using was quickly draining my laptop battery. Plus, think about it. This Starbucks, while technically in Phoenix, is literally walking distance from Scottsdale, where people tend to have corporate jobs. Why in the hell would you not leverage your existing facility infrastructure to entice corporate type of customers to come in to spend money on drinks and hang out to do their work in an otherwise cozy environment? read more

This Sarbucks is right next to my work so I am here 3-4 times a week (at least!) One thing I really like is their large patio equipped with a misting system. The majority of the tables are under the roof awning so it's a great place to relax with your coffee and utilize their free WiFi or go old school and read the paper. If your lucky you might even see one of their regulars; a gentleman who sits outside with his toucan on his shoulder! Scared the bejesus out of me first time I walked past him... Inside the baristas are friendly and efficient and have no problem making custom offers. They also regularly have samples of new drinks and/or food items out for customers to sample. This Starbucks is great! This place is my first stop before my day of responsibilities begins. The morning crew is the best. Sunny and shining bright Sabrina is my favorite young barista. The newer manager Brittany is so sweet and helpful too. How can somebody be so happy when people just take their coffee issues so seriously?! The rest of the baristas have managed to get my complicated orders right most of the time. The one time they didn't, it was immediately fixed. No biggie, my day progressed. The ambiance is clean. This is a cafe style Starbucks with plenty of seating outside for coffee enjoyment and perfect weather during the fall/winter months. It's a little tucked away in a plaza near Harkins and across the street from Wholefoods. The service is quick and friendly, my coffee is hot and my drink is always yummy. I feel for the people who work in these types of environments, it certainly doesn't look easy. Maybe the yelpers reviewing these places need to work at a Starbucks for a week or two. I don't know how I would handle a bunch of tired and grumpy people demanding perfection. Thank you for waking up at 4 am to serve me coffee guys! You betcha buns I'm gonna tip! read more

This is my go-to starbucks. The people who work here are really friendly. The outdoor seating along Mayo boulevard is strangely peaceful if you want a little respite from your day. It's generally not over-crowded which is a nice change from some of the starbucks on or near Frank Lloyd wright blvd. My only complaint is the outlet situation. If you're coming here to do work on a computer there sometimes aren't enough outlets, and some of the outlets are near comfy chairs instead of near tables. read more

Just like the rating. Meh. Baristas look like they are bored out of their minds. My friend wanted to inquire about their free Tall Hazelnut macchiato, and boy were they sour about it. They decide to honor the promotion, like they should, and gave my friend her free drink. I bought a venti sized, and was given what? Caramel macchiato. I'm giving this Starbucks location only 5 stars, since Yelp doesn't allow the 10 stars. Starbucks is Starbucks, the difference is made by the baristas. And this location has THE BEST, energetic, fast, friendly and positive baristas behind the counter, any time of any day I've been there. Everyone, including myself, is greeted with a positive smile, every barista know everone's name & drink. The best part of my morning used to be a killer workout at OrangeTheory Fitness. Now, its to be at this Starbucks after my workout. The facility is always clean, lines move quick and I feel the positive baristas love what they are doing!
