I ordered a strawberry acai lemonade with peach juice and no berries and they didn't add the peach juice. I also ordered oatmeal and they didn't give me any of the inclusions that come with it so I tasted so bland. They gave us a drink we didn't ask for. We asked for a water at the window and they completely ignored. The person at the window was very rude as well when I told her I asked for peach juice and then she added an excessive amount of peach juice that ruined the drink. Very disappointed. read more

I swung by this Starbucks for a quick breakfast bite before heading out of town, and it was a fantastic experience! I used the mobile order feature, and my order was ready and tasted great. The drive-through line moved quickly, and my items came in a biodegradable bag, which I really appreciated. What really made my day was my barista, Matt, who remembered me because I frequent this location often. He even asked if my Dobermans wanted pup cups, which was such a thoughtful touch! It's little things like this that make a big difference. I got an iced matcha latte with non-dairy cold foam and a sausage and egg sandwich with the cheese slice removed (lactose and milk hate me). My husband got the double-smoked bacon, cheddar, and egg sandwich with his vanilla sweet cream cold brew. The breakfast was hot and fresh, but also fast and quick, and our drinks were made to perfection. Overall, the prices are on the higher side, but the personal touch and excellent service make it worth it. The store is usually very clean when I go inside, and if Matt is working, the staff here are super kind! I'll definitely continue to use this location. read more

Staying at a hotel near by and went to this location to do some work before a conference. The app indicated that the store was open inside but upon arrival there was a sign in the door saying the inside was closed with no explanation. Two employees were sitting on the couches chatting with each other at 6am. there were at least four other baristas working on drinks which seems like pretty typical staff level. If you're going to close the inside, at least make it match on the App and not look like your employees are goofing off inside. read more

This location is the perfect addition to this side of town. I know it's been here a while but I've used it several times for meetups with friends and it's super convenient. The staff is always kind and attentive and they make drinks well. I've never wondered if there were extra espresso shots or if my order was going to be correct. The barista saw Beanie and asked if we wanted a "pup cup" and us not knowing what it was we all said yes lol He gives us this cute mini cup of whip cream and while we were awwww'n I had to Google if Tony Toy Poodles can have whip cream as he doesn't eat any human food other than peanut butter to take meds. It was determined he could. He loved it. Thanks for letting us know this was a thing. He's only 5lbs so I only let him finish the top though just in case this 8 hr car ride don't mix with our excitement this morning. When I pulled up around 6:30 on a weekday evening, I thought they were closed, but no... just very, very quiet. The staff was super friendly and quickly made my favorite drink, a nitro cold brew with salted foam, and a damned good chicken and bacon sandwich. Stopped for a quick caffeine fix at the Prattville Alabama Starbucks. Upon entering there was a bad odor. We waited several minutes to place our order while a conversation took place between cashier and customer. We waited over 30 minutes for our drinks while the drive thru flowed through one after another. I am a frequent customer at the Gardendale Starbucks. They could not be any nicer!!! Some of them even welcome me by name which is so kind. I had an incident yesterday at the Hope Hull, AL store. I did not receive what I ordered, and didn't realize it until I was back on I-65 north toward home. I checked the label under the sleeve and it was definitely wrong. My next stop was the store in Prattville, AL (my normal stop when traveling to/from Montgomery) to get my favorite coffee. I told the barista about my incorrect order and without blinking an eye, he said I had paid for a drink that was not right, which earned me a free order of the right drink!!! Decided to stop by for some breakfast after being begged by my boyfriend to go, there were about 4 cars ahead of us in the drive thru but the line went by super quick. We got a caramel frap and a vanilla iced latte for our drinks and 2 grilled cheese. Their grilled cheese are always my fav go to breakfast item deff 12/10 recommend trying! Starbucks also has the straw free lid option now, which I think is an improvement in lowering plastic usage, as well as many affordable reusable cups. Customer service was terrible. One lady in there was so rude to us when we came to get our mobile order. Her tone was just unacceptable when advising social distancing guidelines (which we gladly abided by) however The amount of disrespect we felt was unacceptable, she needs to work on her delivery.
