This Starbuck's was great! It's the easiest one to access on 280 if you are going southbound. I came here last week to pick up my venti Toasted White Chocolate Cream Frappuccino. I was craving a hot drink so I decided to stop here on my way home. I will say that I am not a fan of the building design because it's difficult to get to across the busy parking lot where this location is. This location is near several relatively busy establishments and we all know that Starbucks has their own busy crowds as well. THE STRUGGLE! Every time I come to this Starbucks location, the employees are very kind and welcoming. I went through the drive through and ordered the infamous TikTok Starburst drink, which was a pretty specific order. The employee was patient and upbeat while I ordered, although I expected nothing less. Customer service is always great here! Plus, it was clean outside and the line moved quickly. When I got to the window, I had a barcode to scan for my drink and the employees made it an easy transaction. When I got my drink it looked great, and after trying it I'd recommend others to try it out for themselves! It's a really fun and fruity summer drink that I'll definitely be getting again. I stopped by this Starbucks (which I rarely visit) to grab a Frozen Strawberry Açaí Refresher. There were multiple staff members in the back refrigerator/kitchen area talking so loudly I couldn't hear the lobby music -discussing physical preferences in dating. The woman who took my order was very nice, professional, & fun. 10 Stars! The young man making my drink spent the entire time complaining loudly about how he had made a mistake serving a customer and a manager or other supervising staff member had yelled at him. I felt bad for him... ...then he handed me my drink & I walked outside, hopped in my car, hopped on the highway, & then looked at my drink. Less than 2 minutes later. The top half of the drink was mostly frozen, a very loose Sonic slushy texture. The bottom half of the drink was just a regular, not frozen refresher. Been coming here for YEARS! Even though the people who work here might change every once in a while the service never does. Everyone is very friendly and they try their best to make sure everything is right. The location is always clean and taken care of. The drinks are pretty good. They listen to what you want. While I miss the friendly baristas who knew my name over at the Clairmont location (I have moved), the quality at this Starbucks feels pretty similar, as does the approachability of the staff. I had an order yesterday that just didn't taste right - watery, weak, no cold foam, and the staff made it right for me within a few minutes. None of us can expect perfection 100% of the time, but what matters to me is that customer service corrects the error with no additional charge to me, which they did. read more

Well. I am very particular about the Starbucks I support. They have to be up to my standards if is going to be a regular store for me to visit. This is because I worked for Starbucks for almost 5 years. Because of my Starbucks experience I'm pretty selective in which stores I'll support regularly. I really have had excellent experiences at this store overall. There is one barista who I am not a fan of at all. She straight up told me I was wrong in how I ordered. I just asked for an iced coffee and she gave me an iced tea and said it was my fault when I asked her to switch it for what I ordered. The other baristas gave her what for because they said I ordered correctly. Every time I see her, she give me the stink eye now. She is not polite and she is a little lazy. Other than this interaction with this individual the only other complaint I have is that it is cold in this store all the time! The other baristas are excellent. They serve at a great rate, and that is something I am picky about. It's clean. Also something we should all be picky about. Note: be careful in the parking lot in the morning, I've seen more than one accident. read more

I've had a great experience every time I have stopped by this Starbucks location. The seating area is great and there's a great workspace. I especially love the outdoor seating. This is the 5th or 6th time that I have gotten the wrong drink here. If I could give stars for just the staff I would at least bump this to a 2.5 because at least half the staff smiles and acknowledges you when you come in. I hate to say it but I am taking this one off my list of Starbucks locations that I am going to use. I have TRIED to like this one several times but a simple Venti Jade Citrus Mint tea can not be that hard to make. Don't just assume that people will want a "medicine ball tea" or the crappy Emperor's Cloud tea. The line went quickly, the orders were filled fast and everyone at this location seemed to be in a great mood. There were many places to sit both inside and out. Summary: Quiet and able to get work done, but employees socialize/flirt with patrons while there is a line. Details: Came in on Thursday at 4PM for a quiet afternoon of reading and enjoying my black tea. This location has to be 1 of the worst locations I've ever experienced. This location's performance is driven by drive-thru performance and getting people through that line as fast as possible. 3 employees in the store. 2 were taking drive-thru orders and preparing those drinks. 3rd employee was responsible for taking in-store customers drinks and making them. When the 2 drive-thru workers had no customers in the drive-thru, they were flirting with a customer name Tom who apparently comes in quite often. Being 1 of 3 customers in line waiting, I was astonished at the lack of teamwork and dedication that employees thought it was ok to flirt instead of making drinks. On Wednesday, while obtaining a refill, they attempted to charge me for a whole new drink. The cashier said "oh, they have a refill button." read more

I'm not a big fan of coffee so I tend to not visit coffee shops. I do like this location with Plenty of outdoor seating free WiFi and its very clean. As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted with a friendly "hi how are and how may I help you. I ordered the caramel frappucino and it was great. Starbucks consistency makes it a trusted a brand. A coffee standard just about anywhere you go. It may not be your favorite coffee place, but you know it can be trusted because of its consistency. Starbucks is the lifelong friend of coffee lovers everywhere. With that being said, this location in particular breaks with tradition. Answers to menu questions are confusing or non existent. Can think of a time any Starbucks can messed up an order, but this location has done it several times. No offer to make it right. Just poor customer service. On one occasion after one of the drinks I ordered mysteriously was never made, and I had to remind the staff that I never received part of my order I went outside to see a few of the staff out in the parking lot. After talking with someone who pulled up and parked they all took out swords made out of something wrapped in duck tape and began sword fighting in the parking lot. After many bad experiences, I decided to never go to this Starbucks again. The irony is that the best Starbucks I have ever been too anywhere is just another mile down the street at hwy 119 and hwy 280. I hope they turn this place around. After some more time I will give it a try and hopefully will have a better experience. After all, it's the consistency of Starbucks that can be trusted; right? read more

This is one of my favorite Starbucks in town but today they were really off their game. After a wait I was given the wrong order and then had to wait for the correct order to be made. When they gave it to me it was spilling over and all over the place. They simply put another cup around it. I didn't mind so much Bc I was really craving their coffee. I drove off excited to have my caffeine. But after the first sip I was greatly disappointed, not only was it not what I ordered but it also tasted like really burnt coffee. Morning meeting w old friend. Good central location. Clean interior. The young cashier was very friendly and polite. I was served promptly. In addition to the biggest cup available of the hot, bold, dark stuff my order included a steak and egg wrap. I'm not certain what the prefab egg like material was but it most certainly was not real egg. I would absolutely pass on ordering that item again, or any other food item other than a bagel or something of the sort. Wife loves the banana bread. This was my first time having an item that contained what they describe as egg. I absolutely won't make that mistake again. I was asked if I wanted avocado spread with the wrap and agreed,not realizing it was extra. It was worth the extra $1.00 and made the gas station quality wrap edible. Great coffee Good service Convenient location Horrid breakfast wrap = 2 point deduction I'll stick to the coffee. Our meeting ran longer than anticipated and I really wanted more coffee. A refill is only .50 cents, which was a welcomed surprise considering I'd spent nearly $10.00 on the wrap and large coffee. This experience would not prevent me from going back. On a business trip in Birmingham, my morning visits here made each day SO much better. We never had to wait in lines (at about 7:45am) though it's obviously a popular location. This is my favorite Starbucks. The staff is always nice and connects with you. They seem to know you after a few visits. Many of them know my name and my drink of choice. The biggest draw back is the design of the drive-thru. The entrance often becomes crowded in the mornings, and cars block the entrance to the parking lot. There will be at least 5 cars in line, but the parking lot will only have 1 or 2 cars in it. Many of the other customers are just lazy! Another negative, is when you bring your own cup they sometimes write your order on another cup anyway. This sort of defeats the purpose of being green! read more

Was made incorrectly, probably due to the distracted conversation- and as I had wasted time waiting I didn't have time for them to make it again. This morning the drive-thru line was so long and even when I approached the window, I had to wait. However, after I received my order one of the baristas came to the window and apologized. He said he could not find the protein powder for my smoothie. I said no worries, I understood. Then he says well again we apologize for your wait and handed me a gift card towards my next order. What a way to start the day! This Starbucks is awesome. The staff is friendly and on top of their game while continually monitoring the the satisfaction of their customers. I don't get great customer service often to outstand me enough to write a review about it. I'm not usually up in the morning to enjoy a coffee, but I NEEDED coffee on this one. After working a closing 12 hour shift and coming back to work another double that morning, I was drained. When an employee told me my card for whatever reason didn't work, He could tell I was a bit irritated BUT Zack (i think that's how his nametag was) said he would still get me my coffee. It's close to my house, has plenty of parking, lots of outdoor seating (though the drive-through wraps around the patio, which can be distracting when trying to read or study), friendly and upbeat staff, and a great vibe in general. Walked a over from High Point to get some coffee and the lobby was closed. I understand COVID is around us so I decided to walk through the drive thru. Apparently we didn't set of the sensor because no one ever took our order. So I then Decided to move and try to order online so I could Just pick up at the window. The app said the order ahead was unavailable. So I called the store hoping to place an order and maybe pick up at the window. The guy that answered wouldn't take my order over the phone or give me any advice on how to order any other way. He pretty much told me I had to be in a car to order. He made it impossible for me to get anything and he was not helpful at all. I feel Like the customer service could have definitely been better. There could have been other ways to help. He made no suggestions. I wasnt able to order at the speaker, the app, or the phone. I definitely won't be back to this Starbucks. Everything is hard for everyone at the moment. I know Things are closed down for the most part but I feel Like it could have been a better experience if he really would have put forth the effort. read more
