Worst Costumer Service most times. Tonight I ordered 3 separate orders, one Matcha Green, Double Expresso, Cheese Danish. All for 3 different people. When I got to the window, same rude barista from few days ago ( Green Highlighted Hair, not wearing a name tag nor wanted to provide her name) handed me the expresso and the cup was visible dirty green on the lid and the side of the cup. Without even touching it I asked while she was still holding the cup to please change the cup into a clean cup because the other person I'm buying it for is allergic to matcha . Her response was simply "why"? "You already order a Matcha" but I didn't touch it, you did, Lady! You are trying to hand me a cup dirty on the outside and on the lid, it has nothing to do with what my other order is!! Regardless, this type of argument is simply not customer's satisfaction!! No people skills whatsoever. Because I had a different incident few days back with same barista I now asked for a name because I noticed again she didn't have a name tag. She rolled her eyes and said she doesn't have to have one! I know last year this location was closed for weeks because of staff issues. I would like a District Manager to contact me and talk about these types of disrespect and customer service. I definitely have no problem walking to the Starbucks in the same parking lot, to avoid this behavior. I've been to alot of Starbucks close by since I work bear by and this spot makes it to perfection or at least to my liking. This location is great if you need to have a meeting or study for school. The location is next to a Target and lots of restaurants. I'm a repeat customer and this is one of the Starbucks I frequent in the area. Drinks are always on point and the customer service is amazing. The only thing I was bummed about (and now that I think about it a lot of the Starbucks merchandise their store the same way) is that the merchandise wall was way on the other side of the wall (where ordering takes place) instead of have merchandise that is for sale next to the pick up order area where people can shop while they wait. Wouldn't that be a better idea and be a better sales strategy? I wanted to look at what they had but there were too many people in line and I was on the other side awaiting my order. I will forever be loyal to this local Starbucks near my work. I work down the street and have 4-5 Starbucks to choose from. This location is hands down the best in quality and efficiency. They are always very welcoming in the morning. I dropped my iced coffee outside, and came back in asking for a new drink. Sure enough no questions asked or hesitation. The barista remade my iced coffee and handed it over with a smile. Overall, out of all the Starbucks I've been to this one is consistent with their drinks. I always get an iced coffee with creamer and 2 pumps of different syrups. Compared to others, some have to much creamer or not enough. This starbucks had coffee, food and Places to ready & study. What I have come to expect from many of the starbucks locations. This particular starbucks had a slightly different style than many, a style any suburban yuppie could appreciate. On the very corner of the Tustin/Meats shopping area this Starbucks has a large window wall where you can watch the cars go by. The square wooden tables have little glass flower pots on them. There is also seating in a more cozy area with a plush bench surrounded by round wooden tables. They also have two tables outside which were taken, too bad. I had an apple fritter which was dry and had no apple, I should have stuck with thier brownie or banana. Thier pike roast coffee was good, very strong though. I saw a young hipster type walk in and I thought right away "Chai Latte." A little later I hear her ask for a Chai Latte, lol. The staff here is freindly, reserved and professional looking, many of the customers seemed that way as well. I used to go to this location in the mornings. It's changed. They've redecorated and made it less friendly a la the "Neo Starbucks" decorating theme. I guess they needed to do this to justify charging even more for their drinks. The reason this Starbucks gets a two star rather than a higher rating isn't because of the barristas or the silly new decor, it's because this Starbucks - like several others i've tried - never seems to have COFFEE brewed. In a COFFEE shop! What's up with that? I asked for a dark brew, and the very cheerful fellow behind the counter said it was "available for pour-over only." I asked for the Pike Place (which I don't particularly care for; it tastes like they burn the beans). They said it wasn't ready. I had to get a "blonde" which is Starbuck-ese for "warm dirty water that doesn't taste like coffee." While having a nice place for customers is important, and having helpful employees is also a plus ... not having coffee is kinda missing the point if you're trying to make money selling coffee. read more

I had two freebies to use that were expiring soon. I'm so forgetful but luckily the Starbucks app on my phone reminded me. What to do? What to use them on? Hmm... I was working from home so I decided to run out for a coffee break and maybe a cookie as a treat. Upon arriving, I noticed the offers had actually expired the day prior however this Starbucks was still good about honoring them. I decided to try the new chestnut praline latte and get a pumpkin loaf. Staff was great and even made my drink extra hot like I asked them. The drink itself was amazing and it's actually my new favorite holiday drink. I always get it before work, during work, or whenever. I'm totally addicted. With Covid being taken into consideration, it must be difficult to keep up with demands as is. With that said, I have been here a solid number of times without any issues until this particular location had an unfortunate incident with one of its staff. Ever since, I have not received a single order correctly. I feel the staff they have are not as well acquainted with the vastness of the Starbucks menu so if you order something that's retired from the restaurant menu, you will not get the drink you ordered, or if you ask for a simple substitution, it comes back to you as a complete mess in a cup. Will not bother coming back even though I live so close to this location. Very disappointed. Hope they get some decent baristas to come save this location. read more

While sitting inside Starbucks today, a person came in and asked for a refund on their drink or a new version because they did not like it and thought it was too sweet. This woman was so nice to the staff and kindly asked for this. The staff members raised their voice at her, argued with her, told her ALL OF THESE ARE SWEET! ITS SUGAR IN A CUP! really loudly as I sat on the other side of the store. I felt so badly for this women, and they declined to give her a new drink or refund even though she said she called ahead and looked embarrassed. It's been a hit & miss with my drinks. They've had to remake them only a few times but my danishes are the problem. They are sometimes burnt and more often than not they have these black flake stuff on them. I work down the street so I always place a mobile order, pick it up, and take off to work. I've had to go back to the store to have them remake my drink (lucky for me I was early for work) just a couple times. Yesterday I tried it while still in the store still and good thing I did. It's always the same problem with my drink when it's made wrong. Water is used instead of lemonade. I came here on my wedding day 5/25/18, twice while running last minute wedding errands. First in the morning with my sister to grab a quick breakfast and caffeine before the marathon of hair and makeup began. We ordered drinks for ourselves, breakfast sandwiches for ourselves and chocolate croissants for our kids. When I got home, I realized I forgot my kid's croissant on the counter. I called the store as soon as I realized it was missing to see if it was still on the counter. They didn't see it but offered to make a new one if I came back. I told them I would be by in a bit. So the second visit was to get my kid's croissant and I ended grabbing more drink orders for the girls while I was there. They warmed the croissant for me as soon as I got there. Horrible costumer service. I was fasting until sunset and I was craving Starbucks the whole day. It was around 10:53 PM and I walked into Starbucks with my sister. Just when we were about to order, the worker says: "Ummm ma'am we are closed, we are done taking orders." I explained how the doors were open and that it's still 7 minutes until closing. She said they put everything away and can not take order anymore. Stores have to be open at the times the business says it's open. Not only did we feel humiliated, but there were still people sitting down having their coffee. We argued with the worker, but nothing happened. We asked her if she can still make our drinks since we were there BEFORE 11PM, but she refused and rolled her eyes. We had to go to another Starbucks that had a drive-thru. Okay I really hate to write a negative review for a Starbucks, especially one that is very busy and open such insanely early hours, but I have to. And it makes me sad also because the service is SO GOOD! These are the most consistently sweet baristas I've ever met. But oh my god. The coffee. Is so bad. I live right by this Starbucks so I've been here many times out of convenience, and every time... the coffee has been... bad. Sometimes undrinkable. I don't even know what it is it's so confusing- sometimes I can taste the dish soap, sometimes it's insanely bitter, today it tastes burnt? And I never ask for a redo because 1) it's always very busy 2) I'm usually in a hurry to get somewhere else and 3) I don't know if it's fixable? It seems like they just brew it poorly? The flat whites provided at most Starbucks stores are delicious. They are creamy and dense and if made correctly, they will leave a nice layer of foam surrounding the cup. I feel like I'm about to star overreacting on my experience with this specific Starbucks regarding the mobileapp and my wait time, but I feel like my concern is valid. I had ordered my two drinks at 8:08pm and the mobile app had said that there would be a wait time of 8 minutes maximum--and of course its understandable for the wait-time to exceed that by a couple of minutes, depending on the line and the number of baristas. BUT 30 MINUTES OF A WAIT-TIME??? My issue is that that there wasn't a long line. There wasn't one sole barista. There weren't a surplus a orders. I stood there waiting for 30 minutes for my drinks because the blonde baristas in the front were visited by 3 friends and they chit-chatted for literally 10 minutes, made their drinks before anyone else's that had already ordered--interrupted current orders to get one of their friends a venti drink that was literally asked at a whim and handed to them at that same whim. That's ridiculous. That's truly unprofessional. I had NEVER waited THIRTY minutes for 2 drinks that were ordered on the mobileapp. ISN'T THE POINT OF THE MOBILEAPP TO GET YOUR DRINKS AND NOT WAIT?? 3 0 MINUTES THOUGH?? That's just insane. I stood their waiting for 2 drinks. Watched them chitchat with friends. Serve their friends before completing their current orders. THEN finally get my 2 drinks and have my drinks with the saddest looking deflated?? whipped cream and completely wrong orders. LIKE... I really don't know if all that was a joke? Homebase Starbucks. I don't turn it into my living room, my bathroom, or my office, so I couldn't tell you how those facets affect my life or work. All I know is that when I order the small Pike drip with 2 fingers room for cream, I get just that, for $1.80 and walk out with a smile -- they're consistent in this regards, and I'm not some crazy coffee fanatic who places point values on the taste, aroma, and texture of this shit -- I just want my buzz. Quick Tip: Park around the side, but not under the trees... parking in front of this shithole means you're risking doors dings and a mild fender bender with the tons of other people who can't walk 15 extra feet for sake of convenience (laziness). Standard Starbucks with nice baristas. Not much to say right? Did they greet me when I walked up to the cashier? Check (and they smiled too). Did they write my name down correctly? Check (but my name isn't a tough one). Did they make my drink (grande green tea latte unsweetened with soy) the way it should be made? Check. Not sure what everyone is complaining about since my experience wasn't as awful as others have mentioned in previous comments. I decided to come here and take advantage of the "holiday sharing deal." But every seat was taken! And the line was 5 people deep!Was I ever so wrong about this *bucks not being busy!! It's only average in size; it's a cozy location and a bit dark. You may not find a place to sit with a friend unless you went during the morning hours on of the weekdays. Customer service was good and the girl even had patience with me as she explained the transaction that I questioned. That is a huge plus. They consistently provided excellent service; I still remember when I came during morning rush, ordered a carton of coffee-to-go, and they told me it would be 15min. They did it in 7min!!! Furthermore, they get service done fast! That line of people was easily taken care of. But otherwise, this is a typical location an hopefully they can upgrade to at least offer clover brewing. :) read more

This one is close to home, so I frequent it quote a bit & it's always pretty busy but they're usually fairly quick with their drinks. I do have one gripe, they don't put your name on the cup! They just yell out the drink and if you miss it well then you're SOL and don't bother asking the barista what it is because you'll get a shoulder shrug, awesome! read more

The coffee is status quo Starbucks, but, the location itself (while easy to access), is usually un-tidy every time I come (which is not that often, maybe once every couple of months I'm in this area, but always the same.) Just gives me the impression the employees don't care much, as it doesn't take long to grab a wet towel and wipe down sticky countertops, etc. Also does not smell as nice when I enter this starbucks, compared to others. I just assume its because they just warmed an egg sandwich or something to that affect, but I don't recall the last time I walked into this one and smelled a nice coffee aroma. I work in one of the most highly rated customer service companies. But even if I didn't I would still be appalled as to what I heard and experienced in going to this Starbucks. I was standing behind a woman who works at Ganahl Lumber which is just down the street. She was obviously a regular because the conversation between Chelsea, the cashier and her was very specific. She had already been helped and I stood there patiently listening about employees getting wrote up and how the manager only scheduled someone for two hours. It was obvious that I needed to be rung up since I had a gift card in my hand from the display at the register that I was purchasing, ironically, for my boss's birthday. I finally moved next to the other woman so she knew she was wasting my time too. At this point she quit munching on her purchase and walked out. I said to Chelsea, who had a name tag that said "Rob", "Did you seriously make me wait here so that I could listen to you talk about your boss and be completely unprofessional?" Here's a list of excuses and bribes I heard..... Well, I was helping her. Would you like a drink? I'm sorry (she did say that twice but not at first, bad service!) My boss lets me wear a name tag that says Rob because we have a lot of drug addicts that come in here but I told you my real name. (What?!?!?) I think you get the picture. I'll be contacting corporate in the morning. I'm sure they'll be thrilled to hear about the other employee who was just leaning against the wall. I came in for a tall drip, and the cashier said that the barista was just brewing a new batch, so it would be on him. I thought he was kidding, but I got my coffee for free! I guess Starbucks really hates to make you wait. The service was fast and friendly, and the guy even spelt my name right! I always get various spellings on my cup. It ranges from "Linh, Min, Ming, Nimh, Mint, Mine, etc". So getting my name right is always a plus in my book =) read more

I always thought Starbucks prides themselves with good customer service. Well, one of the baristas here missed the training: young white guy, somewhat on the short side. He barely greeted customers when they came up to the counter, didn't smile once, and didn't extend any pleasantries. When I asked for a refill on my tea, he rang it up as a new order instead of the 50-cent charge.
