I usually avoid Starbucks, but when you're up before sunrise and the local coffee shops are still closed, their early hours are hard to beat. I was wide awake and ready for my first review by 5:00 am, and walked through the doors at 5:20. I was one of the first customers of the day. I settled in with my laptop, plugged into their outlet, grateful for the warmth, quiet, and a cushioned seat that made the next two hours surprisingly pleasant. I stayed until the Sun was up and the roads felt safe again, letting the morning unfold while the city slowly woke around me. The Starbucks app is more than a star tracker though I rarely redeem them. It's a solid tool for customizing your drink exactly how you want it. I prefer the Blonde Veranda roast in a short cup with a 1/4 inch splash of heavy cream. They've removed the "add ice" option, so I have to wait a few minutes for the coffee to cool to a drinkable temperature. During my stay, I watched a steady rhythm of customers coming and going, baristas clocking in, and the team moving with practiced efficiency. The drink and food items were really delicious and the customer service was great. The downside is the parking lot is kind of small and very busy, as a person not from the area several people cut in front of me just when trying to enter the parking lot, it can get pretty congested. read more

Come here when in the area for a jolt of caffeine. Nothing here is a stand out it is an average Starbucks. Used the drive thru last visit and had my usual a short cappuccino whole milk. I have down graded to a short as it is smaller thus a savings off of their exuberant prices. Drink was ready once I got to the window and the associate scanned my app for payment. Note there is nothing yet I can find in the area for cappuccino as an alternative. This location is next to Pet Paradise and Cracker Barrel. All are freestanding buildings not in a shopping center or strip mall. read more

Welcome back!!! This Starbucks is fully open. Indoor and outdoor seating. Due to staffing issues sometimes it's not open full days. Everyone is dealing with staffing issues. Today I'm happy to be sitting inside a Starbucks drinking a Nitro Cold Brew, feeling quite normal in this bizarro world. I'll take it as a win. My drink is delicious. Terrible and rude service. Shuts down at random times. Employees treat customers with disrespect.

First, let me say shout out to the new barista on the bar nothing wrong with being new at a job however, I definitely don't feel like it's appropriate to have only one barista at the bar that's brand new learning how to do things without somebody else that knows how to make drinks I ordered a grande hazelnut oat milk shaken espresso, and when I got my drink, it was just as shaken espresso with hazelnut syrup in it with no oat milk. I went back into the store to let one of the girls who had already been working there for a while know that the drink didn't have any oat milk and she sat and looked at me like I was stupid for asking for oat milk for a drink that comes with oat milk in it ...definitely was not a nice feeling because I just paid almost 7 dollars for this drink and to be spoken to and looked at as if I was stupid for asking for an ingredient to be put in a drink that's supposed to be in it... anyways so she gets my drink pours some of my drink out and then adds the milk.... lol... OK I understand Starbucks is in a five star restaurant, but I'm definitely spending a lot of money for simple things. I thought I would update my review (months later) to prove how great this Starbucks location is. I have still been going here very regularly and have not been let down. The staff continues to be amazing, and the lines move faster than I have ever seen a drive-thu move. The other day, I tried to go to the Starbucks on Fording Island and sat in an immobile line. I gave up and parked to try to go inside, which is when I found out they are closed on the inside. I gave up completely and decided to drive over to this location. Within five minutes of reaching this location, I got my coffee. I also noticed they were also open on the inside, when the other one is not. The service was friendly and fast as always. I am willing to drive out of my way to get my coffee here. Oh, and they're open early! Almost two hours earlier than the other Starbucks... when people need their coffee! Whoever that girl was working the window today needs to be fired. She's losing tips for all the other employees. There was a car behind me in the drive through line and the woman asked for a moment to decide and the employee in a nasty ass tone goes "maybe you should pull back around and decide. I have a line behind you...." There were no cars behind her. You work in customer service and you aren't doing a very great job. Everytime I go to Starbucks I tip anywhere from $5-$10 and I asked for my quarter back today. As for the employees that weren't working the window. Standing in the back laughing at your coworker being an asshole to the customers doesn't do anything for you either. I could see if there was a reason for her to be snippy and rude, but the customer didn't deserve it at all. I ordered two bakery items and two drinks and you could hear the annoyance in this girls tone. If you don't wanna work, quit. There are plenty of people who would like your job. I think this is one of the best Starbucks I've been to. The coffee selection was better than every Starbucks I've been to. They had pikes place, veranda, and Sumatra on tap. Never seen that. Been going to Starbucks for many years. The service was very good . They put my cream and sugar on the side. We got the Sumatra. Very good. read more

This used to be the best Starbucks in the area. The last 3 times there are two girls working in the afternoon who are rude. The drinks we receive are under blended and tasteless. I truly believe that the woman who works the drive through on Fridays mornings is an angel sent from heaven above to make all of our monotonous, fast-paced, coffee-fueled days a little more bright. I don't know what they pay her, or what kind of vacation package she worked out during the hiring process but that woman is pure and golden sunshine. She is optimism embodied. She made my whole morning within five seconds of her cheery greeting and by the time I have my coffee and a muffin for my son, she has given me the willpower to live another day. I would let this woman raise my child. In fact, if ever I pass before my husband I will specifically request in my Will for him to at least consider pursuing her if she is available. Went this morning. Went inside since take out line was long. Delightful staff all working hard to meet take out demand. The place is large, clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly, professional and smiling! They helped me purchase a sustainable cup, cleaned it for me, filled it, all quickly and again, with a smile. Purchased a bag of their espresso coffee and asked for it ground for espresso. Got it home and several days later used it and discovered it was ground for regular coffee. Took it back to this location and they wouldn't regrind it and only had blonde espresso beans in stock. No help whatsoever! read more

Today I had the most disappointing Starbucks experience. We did the drive thru and the guy was fairly short. I order an iced cloud macchiato and when we got it it had no ice.
