1/27/2026- Hours of operation were updated a few days ago yet when I show up at 8:35pm, all doors are locked and 5 employees looked at me like I have an sticking out my forehead... despite the hours stating this location closes at 9 pm... do better multimillion dollar coffee company. read more

This is my favorite starbucks on the Island, but not today. they messed up my order, it's printed on the cup, then they didn't want to fix it. Eventually they did when pressed several times. it shouldn't be that hard. What's the purpose of paying soo much for a drink if you don't get it your way. In my particular case, i was avoiding a food allergy. ugh read more

Pink drink with Freeze dried moldy strawberries We always get the same drinks whenever we go to any of the Oak Harbor locations. Half of the time we get moldy fermented strawberries that sit in the drink to expand into a soggy piece of penicillin on a Petri dish. I keep switching locations to see if they all have the same freeze dried strawberries and they do! Half the time we get moldy ones, so this is an issue for the big guys who get paid the big bucks. I don't bother to return to the line to have it remade, but I'll see if there is someone I can write to in head quarters. read more

This place is always a cool time. It's great to study, read and hangout here. The staff are really nice & wholesome. One of the Starbucks corporate managers (Julie) is here today from Seattle giving customers Shortbread Cookie Frappes samples and she's really sweet. This is the best Starbucks on Whidbey, hands down. read more

I'm only giving it two stars for my 2 previous experiences. My first time going they used the wrong syrup and my drinks tasted horribly. Then today after waiting 15 mins for my order I placed online, watching 2 people walk in and receive theirs before me, and then to top it off, there was hair...... stuck to the lid of my cup. I've been to this Starbucks about a half dozen times and they carry the standard Starbucks menu. The prices are what you'd expect of the Starbucks franchise-- 2.45 for a medium tea, about 7 for a chicken panini. The reason this particular store gets 4 stars is because the baristas start to recognize repeat customers and recognize their drinks... One of the girls (usually wears a side braid/twist) is super personable and seemed genuine. It's a decent place to work on a paper if you can find a spot at the bar but it's fairly cold in there and the layout is really tight, almost awkward. read more

We went in on the day when the the whole PNW coast Starbucks systems went down. That wasn't the problem. The problem was one of the baristas. He was wearing an apron with the name Cory on it. He was unbelievably rude. Not to just us but his coworkers. Not sure if that's how he normally acts and they are just used to it because they seemed oblivious to it? We ordered simple drinks. A coffee with a flavor and A sugar free vanilla Americano, which he took our order. His coworker came out of the back and wanted to take our order and he immediately snapped at us. Extremely rude crude dude with an attitude. If you aren't Beyoncé, don't act like a diva man. Thank you for the poor experience. read more

I just spent 30 minutes at this location for one drink. And there were only 3 people in line in front of me. I have never ever spent this long at a Starbucks it was ridiculous. The barista was taking forever because she was talking to her friend the entire time and made her drink and had her see if it was okay and she wanted her to add something so she did, slowly and then made her next drink and she was just taking FOREVER. I'll probably never come here again. The location with the drive thru is WAY faster. read more

Despite a friendly demeanor of the staff, this location exhibited extremely poor deployment. Only one barista behind the bar, working hard to catch up on all the drinks, while other co-workers were standing around or counting sandwiches -- particularly because the store was very busy (being Thanksgiving Day). I actually walked out after waiting for close to 15 minutes, leaving the ordered drinks behind. Additionally, the policy of allowing customers to order drinks online then bypass everyone waiting in line to pick up their order is simply wrong. read more

The partners here were SO kind! They were extremely joyful and I could really feel their positive atmosphere. Overall, wonderful experience!

Disappointing. Maybe the problem is we keep going here during the BOGO offers.... either for the frapps or just recently for the holiday beverages. The frapps were way too icy... McDonald's has better. And now the holiday drinks were either way too 'spiced' (some holiday spice drink, can't remember which), too watery or too much milk (today's Chestnut Praline). So disappointing. For the ridiculous price and reputation of Starbucks I expect much better. I don't even know why I gave them the extra star... for being friendly i suppose. read more

I'm thoroughly disgusted with my recent visits with this location. Not my drinks. And not my visits with my favorite baristas by ANY means. But with the absolute nastiness in which they have been treated by their boss behind the counter. In the past three visits this week I have witnessed what I would call "bullying" by this woman who I'm assuming is the manager. I've been in enough to know who's who and I've yet to see her do anything but critique these nice kids, tell them what they are doing wrong, tell them to do it faster, etc all while there is a cafe full of people and a line to the door. Then she waltzes out the door to smoke just behind the building or back into the back room where half of the cafe can hear her cackling away to whomever she is speaking to. I love my baristas and I have always had great coffee but this woman is becoming a morning nightmare. I would not want to work for her, I don't even want to have my coffee near her anymore. Of the many many Starbucks I've been to all around the country this one is just... average. Some of the staff is great, others leave something to be desired but luckily not enough that makes me not want to visit. Being that I used to work at a sbux, I know it's very important to the company to make people feel like their stores are a home away from home. I just don't get that feel here. Maybe if I came more often, but there are too many other options in the area that do it so well in just one visit, that the only reason I come to this location is habit and sometimes convenience. read more
