This has been my local Starbucks since they first opened 20+ years ago. During this time there have been many employees and managers, but I have always found the people working there to be friendly and professional. The service is great, and since I'm there virtually every day, the team knows my drinks and preferences (no foam please!). I typically walk to this Starbucks from home, which is about a mile each way. On these recent cold days, I've appreciated having a nice hot drink to warm me up. No matter how busy the store is, they always take a minute to ask how I'm doing and to wish me a good day, which makes the service and ambiance so much more personal than what you see in a typical fast food establishment. It's not the cheapest place to get a coffee, but whether it's a latte or an iced coffee, I'll take it over Dunkin's any day! read more

I went here at around 5:30pm on Friday May 14th, 2026. I had placed a mobile order for a matcha with mango cream cold foam and truffle, mushroom, & brie egg bites. When I arrived, the man who was working informed me that they were out of the egg bites I had ordered, and I asked if I could have a spicy falafel pocket instead. He very kindly offered to make me 2 of them. He was the only person working there, and there was a lot of mobile orders coming in. I could tell he was working very hard attending to all of the orders in a time efficient manner. He was very professional and polite. I think he may have had red hair but I might be wrong. I just wanted to say he is doing a great job and I hope he is recognized for his efforts. My matcha was absolutely delicious, and so were my falafel pockets. The food is good as normal like other Starbucks, but the reason I went there was cause I had to use the bathroom urgently. It's a one stall bathroom so people have to wait for their turn. When I was inside the lady that took out the trash kept on knocking and I kept responding that there was someone in there. Does she not know what waiting means? There were other customers waiting to use it but I also had to, they can wait. If there was a pregnant woman needing to throw up would u tell her to hurry up and come out? read more

This Starbies location may have the worst parking lot known to modern humanity, but the store itself is always bright, cheerful, and friendly. They get an absurd amount of foot traffic, and from what I have seen the employees do a phenomenal job of keeping everything organized and the orders moving. The decor is always up to date, and I love looking at their wall of customer pet photos when I come in. Plus, they always put a sticker on the lid of my drink. And they're really good stickers. Low key small Starbucks where there's no drive thru and limited parking. There's a cute study room, maybe can fit up to 20 people comfortably. There's also many ports to plug in any electronics. Customer service was very awesome. I was actually unsure what kind of tea to order but the barista took his time to explain the different teas offered. If anyone is unsure what tea to order, Starbucks has a chart with the different teas and lists different ingredients and even the level of caffeine in them. I accidentally ordered the wrong drink on the app so when I got inside, I told them I meant to order a Venti Iced Brown Sugar Oat Shaken Espresso and they said "no problem". This is the same drink I get every single time I go to a Starbucks. The girl still made the wrong drink for me, not a big deal it was originally my fault.. but then she asked me to repeat what I ordered 4 times. She didn't understand and I pointed at the photo on the wall-mounted menu. Then she proceeded to pour a quart of milk into the drink and I knew she made a latte or something. Eh, it's a Starbucks. No big surprises here. You're not going to walk in and be blown away by its fabulous atmosphere, nor are you going to be so grossed out that you won't even drink the coffee. This was honestly the WORST Starbucks I have ever been too! Not only were all of the baristas rude but they kept doing other things and helping other people with add ons to their orders after the fact! With no acknowledgement by the baristas they just kept on helping others before taking my order. Once getting the coffee it was the worst Caramel Macchiato I had ever had! Expresso had coffee grounds, tasted over done. Words can't express how much I would not recommend this place! Try another Starbucks or local coffee shop for better luck! read more

This is your typical Starbucks, all you would expect except only very limited parking, about as much for 6 or 7 cars, limited on street parking, and a very busy road. Service is good and staff is always polite. Usually very crowded around rush hours. read more

If you want to see the fruits of today's stellar child bearing, come here on a warm summer day, and be prepared to wait 15m+ for your drink b/c the poor baristas are stuck making 20394823 frappucinos for all of Wellesley's darling teenagers - while I love people watching as much as the next gal, I have to say that this Bucks is slowwwwww like molasses - and there is only so much judging of the length of the 13y/o next to me's shorts and her pal's totally inappropriate cleavage before I get depressy face - and angsty that my caffeine is being withheld. Avoid during rush hour and lunch time as there is a freeway entrance down the block as well as a few half-ass attempts at "office parks: Wellesley edition". Note - parking is a total B as there are 7 spots - but, the outdoor seating is quite nice and the actual store is clean. Oh, and they have a fairly dec selection of Starbucks non-pastry food as well, if that's your thing. I mean. It's a Starbucks, which I have to love b/c they have soy milk for me (are you reading this Dunkin....b/c if so, please step it up!), but really, the wait time is long and the staff ranges from friendly to cold/RBF-prone. I work nearby, so I occasionally make up the Monday through Friday crowd. It's small. Like, really small. I know they're going for the comforting low-light local-coffee joint look, and they're doing the best they can with the space they have, but it's claustrophobic. Even when the place is empty, I still really don't know where I can wait for my drink and not be in someone's way. I don't drive, but I'm petrified of being hit by a car in the parking lot. I try to go when I think they won't be so busy - usually 10-11am and after 1:30pm. Despite all this, I still really like this Starbucks. It's efficient. I always get exactly what I order. Due to the lack of space, there's very little emphasis on buying various coffee-related accessories. And, most importantly, the employees are super-nice. When you say "please" or "thank you," they totally appreciate it. I know it's silly to praise people for just doing what they're supposed to do, but Starbucks employees on Washington St.? You're doing it right. And that's why I keep coming back. read more

Busy staff, they get a lot done fast yet always mess up on orders. One rainy day I stepped away from my desk for a iced tea, three attempts later I finally got what I ordered with no comments. This is my favorite Starbucks! The staff is friendly and efficient, even when they are busy, as they often are. My coffees have always been prepared well. The store and bathroom are clean. There is not much seating inside, but the outdoor patio tables and chairs are nice on a warm day. This is a busy commuter Starbucks, with a small parking lot. I usually park on the street. read more

This is by far my favorite Starbucks. Always a really friendly atmosphere, and the drinks are always perfect, even when I order something a little strange. Most of the employees welcome me by name the second I walk in, they even spell my name right on the cup. James Dean always makes the best drinks, while Zelda and Serena the nighttime supervisors are always super friendly. Don't listen to the other reviews giving this place a bad name because of the parking lot. This place is always a welcoming stop on my way home. read more

Every time I go to this Starbucks I regret it. The service is HORRIBLE. I arrived this morning to find my drinks ready. The barista acknowledged that she was still waiting for food for my order but did nothing to remind the food guy who was standing around doing nothing. After 10 minutes (drinks for folks waiting in car are now cold) still no food. Barista finally tells food guy that I am waiting for food. Another three minutes and NOTHING. How long does it take to microwave a croissant?! I walked out. Wasted the money and the time and had two cold coffees. Some version of this happens EVERY TIME I come to this Starbucks. Yes, it's just another generic Starbucks in many ways, but I come here quite a bit and I must say that for the most part, the staff has been great. They know my order and are very friendly. They are typically well stocked with food items until later in the day. This Starbucks is extremely busy in the morning with people on their way to work but it slows down later in the day. I've come in during the last hour before closing and they have brewed an individual cup of dark roast for me -- even sometimes not charging me because they had only Pikes ready. The parking does get a bit crazy. The two minor fender benders I've witnessed were caused by people parking in the area with the no parking sign though. The location is very convenient for people commuting to 128, the Mass Pike, and Boston from the Wellesley area and they do a good job handling the morning rush. I like this Starbucks. read more

Good street parking, nice staff. My main complaint is that they keep the place WAY too cold during the summer. It is often freezing inside the sitting area and people often have to wear sweaters. Uncomfortable. Other than this - it's great having it close by. read more

i go here twice a week, usually with my son. the biggest complaint i have is the meter maids!! other than that, yeah it's a little cramped but most people who come in are just grabbing and going. when there is a line it moves quickly due to the efficiency of the crew who work there. it's coffee made rite! read more
