The service is fast, the team is friendly and professional, the store is clean with a good environment! It is very spacious inside. I found the work team to be very efficient and professional. Love to pick up a iced brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso whenever I can from here. The staff is very friendly and do their very best to keep up with the high volume of customers. I also have to give them five stars because as one of the only coffee shops open during the pandemic, they were consistently MOBBED and you could tell how hard they were working, with a smile on their faces, to keep up with their busy drive thru window. The employees here have always been courteous, kind, and helpful. They get a 4 ONLY because of their parking/drive thru situation. It's a clusterfook! It doesn't matter what time of day, or day of the week. There's always some kind of line leading out of their property, and sometimes out onto the main road. Most of the time, you can't get into the parking lot, because either it's full (limited), or the line to the drive thru blocks the entrance! Today was no exception. I had ordered a bag of their blonde espresso 10 minutes before I got there, to have it ground for espresso. As I got closer (like a block away) I ordered 2 relatively easy coffee drinks. The line went off the property, and by the time I got to the window, at least 10 minutes passed. I waited another 8 minutes (yes, I timed it) for my coffees. I was able to get out of their parking lot, before someone blocked it for people to pass. Horrible planning on the developer's part. The young lady at the window was very apologetic, and very nice. A rather larger gentleman was losing his chit inside. I guess he was stressing at the orders. Lol. All in all, coffee was fantastic! read more

I was happy to stumble along on this new Starbucks....had a craving and it had a drive-thru. This one is conveniently located next to the CT Fast Track bus stop so you can grab a coffee drink or something to eat before you hope on that bus on your way into Hartford. Not many parking spaces and the drive-thru if busy could possibly affect the people wanting to go into grab something since you pretty much pull into the place and turn right and drive thru is bam! right there. Parking is a bit snug so I wonder how it is during the week when. CCSU is in session BUT THERE IS DRIVE Thru at this location. Now I live for going into starbucks but sometimes it's too cold and you are in a rush so the drive thru is a great option. And this being a new location, their ordering screen actually shows you what you are ordering. So now my complicated order has less a chance to be messed up, especially now that I add steamed almond milk to my order. BUT I have also gone inside to order for a more complete review. Spacious and airy is what first comes to mind. Slightly larger than the Newington location but just as many seats. I feel that this location does not want to be too crowded. There is also a patio, but there was about 10 inches of snow so I will have to be back when CT thaws. It's also near a CT Fast track stop and as I mentioned CCSU, so I know that this location will be doing a solid business years to come. read more

Just got a quick bite to eat with an online order. Picked it up at the drive through on a pretty rough morning, and I have to say that the kindness of the workers made my day. The smiles, the happiness on their faces was contagious. So whoever was working the morning shift at 10 am on May 10th 2022, thank you. You really made my day. And the food was fantastic too! First off, great staff - the people who work here are genuinely nice and outgoing. The food and coffee - as you'd expect at any of nearly 15,000 Starbucks worldwide - it's all the same. The problem: This has become a haven for some homeless folks - with their luggage and bags piled up inside and outside of the store. I noticed it a couple of weeks ago. Came in and they smelled bad - like really bad BO. I had to leave; nothing is worse than that. And since I've been back, the same homeless folks - charging their devices and using the wifi - with their luggage have returned and as long as this is an issue, I'm going somewhere else. I know Starbucks has a 'we welcome everyone' corporate mantra but this is a bit ridiculous. I'm sure I'm not alone in my frustration and concern. read more

So i can see why this location is a solid 3 Star StarBucks.. it's nothing special but will get you deliciously caffeinated which is really why you go there. When it first opened my husband visited this location a few times and told me it was horrendously mismanaged..well that happens when places are new and the staff is green. Mistakes are made and things tend to take longer than they should. I decided to give it some time and then go see for myself. Let me begin by saying my order these days by 'bucks standards is not complicated: Nariño Cold Brew with heavy cream...sometimes coconut milk if I'm in the mood and honestly if you haven't tried this this way you're missing out. It really takes the nitro to a whole new level. Anyways, the barista who took my order was cold yet efficient, and just seemed as if she had more important things to do than take my order and ring me out for a $3 coffee. Unimpressed. The baristas at the Newington Center location (Rt 175) and the Wethersfield location (Silas Deane) are super friendly and warm and always make you feel like you are the only person in the room. read more

This Starbucks opened not too long ago, so it is still pretty busy. However, the staff is professional, and I've never had anything wrong with any of my orders. The service is prompt in the drive thru. Their menu is well organized and easy to view. I also like using the Starbucks app to order ahead of time and preview the featured new items. Just went through drive through. Was on break from work to grab a coffee and banana loaf bread. When I opened the bag, the loaf bread was in crumbles, looked like it had been dropped on the floor. Why would this be given to a customer in this condition? I didn't open til I got back, otherwise I would have returned. I get the banana loaf and this is the 1st time receiving it like this. I would think whomever handled it would know it is not up to standards. I don't know what this piece went through as I cannot eat it.
