This is one of the most chill Starbucks I've ever been to. We may have just caught them on a lull, but the line wasn't long, the lobby wasn't packed, and the music was a perfect, chill coffee shop mix and the volume wasn't distracting. I loved all of the natural light coming in from the windows. It's a nice spot to read or get some work done. It was a little later in the day and it was a hot one, so I opted for an ice water instead of coffee or tea, but my friend who lives nearby comes often and says they always make her drinks perfectly. read more

Starbucks, Why are you here in business if you never have products for this community of patrons? This store is consistently out of products and it's very disappointing that management has no understanding of inventory. This store has improved some; the last three visits have been great and items made correctly but it's always a hit or miss with them. The Terry Parkway store rarely ever runs out of products and I absolutely adore Sandy at that store as she's the most personable employee of the two stores combined. Going by the reviews, I must have a horseshoe in my pocket. We have never had an issue with this location. I like to chalk that up to not being a drive thru person. Face to face changes a lot and if it ain't right at the counter, its no big deal. That and I do seem to visit at very off times. We are usually the only ones inside so all the seats are open. It's a new building from ground up so it's got what you expect from the current 2020 generation of Starbucks. I'm a fan of this location till I get burned. read more

I have tried to love this location, and earlier this week there were new people working in the morning and things actually felt like they were improving, but today the same crew was back and the problems persisted! Mobile orders not ready (15+ minutes after being placed) or not made at all because they are out of something. Drinks consistently made incorrectly. Today I am not sure there is any espresso in my drink it is so pale. I truly believe the problems stem from the morning manager. She is rude to employees, barking orders, being very rude, but not actually doing much herself. When she is there the employees look miserable and their work obviously suffers. There is only one word that comes to mind when I think of this Starbucks, and that's FINALLY!!!!!!! Oh my gosh I cannot explain how long I have been waiting for a Starbucks in Algiers and I am in loveeeee with this one since it has opened. My very first impression was how nice and big the building was. The interior is especially appealing with very nice architecture, decor, and plenty of seating. The staff are friendly and helpful and on my first visit one of the baristas offered me a free drink because she had accidentally made an extra one. I have been here 3 times since it has opened and have gotten multiple drinks at each visit--all of which were made to my liking. So far I have zero complaints and I'm sure this place will live up to its name. I will definitely continue to heavily support this Starbucks! read more

Ordered two venti iced matchas with 7 scoop of matcha( they made it regular 5 scoops), brown sugar syrup and strawberry purée on the bottom in one and mango purée in the other. The guy who took my order charged me for mango dragonfruit juice and strawberry purée in the one I wanted mango purée in. Not even telling me they didn't have mango purée. On top of that the girl that made it didn't add the mango dragonfruit bc I told her he had my order wrong. She said there's no mango purée and it's only juice which I didn't want so she didn't add it. Although, they charge me for it. Not only that she shaken the purée into the tea ‍. She then said she can see if there is any reimbursement for that but I had used my stars to redeem it so what's the point. I LOOOOOOOVVVEEEEEE that a couple years ago they have finally made a Starbucks in Algiers (and right down my steeet!!) !!! YAAAAAAYYYYY!!!!!!! With that said, I have experienced some of the most friendly and welcoming staff members ever here, who made me feel like an appreciated customer:) :) Also, one time I was having trouble with my app and there was a mishap, I thought it was on their end but turned out it was on my end and they still gave me my coffee at no charge for the inconvenience. Extremely professional! I tipped them well for how well they handled the situation :) :) They always make my order delicious! I love that it has a drive-thru as well. It's just a bit chilly.. of course I feel like every Starbucks is too chilly. I put on a hoodie and jacket but still my fave freezes and I have to always leave the atmosphere after a couple hours due to that. Other than that, nice cozy atmosphere with great options of seating and even a nifty little porch to enjoy the outdoors and breathe in nature. I also had to ask TWICE for a stopper for my drink since they refuse to set them out in the lobby like other Starbucks. They have them in a cup at the drive thru window only. I like Starbucks. However the Algiers location is different from all the rest in the metro New Orleans area. 50% of the time my order is wrong and it's got to be the easiest espresso drink to make. Triple espresso Macchiato , 3 shots of espresso and foam, not half a cup of milk and 3 shots. I also buy packaged espresso beans at Starbucks, last 2 times I went to purchase them at this location. NONE. How do you operate a Starbucks and not have Espresso beans. Hopefully things will get better at this location, but until that happens I will avoid it. read more

I love how cute this Starbucks is. I also love how much parking they have. I must admit this review is biased because I'm ENAMORED with the new tea lemonades. The guava white tea and the peach green tea are my absolute favorites (with and WITHOUT alcohol). Anyway, I had a meeting here and although there is a lot of seating it doesn't have as many private or separate spaces. It gives you a college union feel (i.e. long tables, lots of windows, etc). I saw the reviews AFTER I ordered and thought, oh it can't be that bad, can it? Yes, it can be. The cashier was super nice, but my iced americano was room temperature with a few pieces of ice floating in it and too much water. It reminded me of that time I tried to go to a Starbucks overseas and no one knew what an iced coffee was. Not to mention, when I asked for room, they basically left an entire quarter of the cup empty. I'm not going to drink a quarter cup of half and half, ya'll! I'm also pretty sure they are not cleaning the espresso machine properly because the espresso shots taste like old, rancid oils. Weirder still, they don't have a full menu up, and there are NO pastries in the case. They have no ads up for seasonal, specialty drinks. PS: Wound up throwing my nasty coffee is the garbage. I've been to this Starbucks before and everything was fine. Customer service was great and my drink was made correctly. Today when I went, the girl asked me for my order three times then comes back and ask me if my order has been taken. I drive up to the window to pay and my drink hasn't even been made. The barista asked the girl taking the order what my drink order was to make it. I understand that they just recently opened but orders should already being made when I ordered and not asked when I get to the window. I get to my office and my Honey Citrus Mint tea taste like water. Not including the girl gave me my hot cup without a sleeve where I had to ask for one. They don't seem properly trained and every time I've been they never have almond milk or the right sized cups. It seems they are always out of something no matter the time of day. Do not go to this Starbucks. Ordered a Toasted White Chocolate Mocha Frapp and it came out as White Milk Frapp, basically had not expresso shots in it. Told the girl that this doesn't taste like what I had ordered. She had to remake my drink. Secondly the store was full of gnats flying everywhere. My son had to go to the bathroom. I prefer Starbucks over PJ's but this location needs a lot of help. Too often I place a mobile order and they don't have what I ordered. In February, I was able to mobile order Valentine's cookies and they were out. They were over $20 and I didn't have time to wait for them to refund me as I was on my way to a meeting. Today they are out of cold brew and nitro. Had to wait in line for a refund. I'm a bit annoyed at this point. I know it's a new location but seriously get it together people! Very disappointed. Like most, I was also very excited to get a Starbucks in Algiers. The first time I went, they gave me the wrong drink so I drove back to get what I had actually ordered and the drink was terrible. Well, I decided to go back about a month later for two of the same drinks and neither one of them seemed to be sweetened and one of them was really dark while the other one was extremely light and tasted like steamed milk with a hint of coffee. To top it off, you could tell that the girl at the drive thru didn't want to be there. She was unprofessional and rude. The least customer service can do is say "Thank you" and/or "You're welcome". This girl shut the window after I thanked her and wished her a good evening. Overall, terrible experience both times I've been here. Won't go back.
