Outside in the drive thru, waiting for her pupcup
    Tori M.

This Starbucks is always hella busy so drive thru line is always long. But, the employees are always really friendly and have never gotten my order wrong once. I always have my dog with me when I'm at this one so they always make time and a pupcup for her too. She loves it!

Venti Pink Drink with Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam. Same order different day (with ice, recently been getting no ice)

So I always get the pink drink with vanilla sweet cream cold foam. I know my cold foam. Yesterday was good. However, today they gave me whipped cream hoping I wouldn't notice. I wasn't bothered by it because they were busy this morning but then I realized I pay extra for it. The wait for my mobile order today was also 35 minutes.

Next time I'll take a pic of the FULL beverage. Oh, I guess I could go and get another one now to take a pic just for you Yelpers! lol.

Starbucks, Why are you here in business if you never have products for this community of patrons? This store is consistently out of products and it's very disappointing that management has no understanding of inventory. This store has improved some; the last three visits have been great and items made correctly but it's always a hit or miss with them. The Terry Parkway store rarely ever runs out of products and I absolutely adore Sandy at that store as she's the most personable employee of the two stores combined. Since my last visit here, I've opted to take my business to the Terry Parkway for good and now they're running into some of the same problems like this location . Sheeeesh!!!

Going by the reviews, I must have a horseshoe in my pocket. We have never had an issue with this location. I like to chalk that up to not being a drive thru person. Face to face changes a lot and if it ain't right at the counter, its no big deal. That and I do seem to visit at very off times. We are usually the only ones inside so all the seats are open. It's a new building from ground up so it's got what you expect from the current 2020 generation of Starbucks. I'm a fan of this location till I get burned.

Is there any espresso in here? Ordered at 6:55 not ready when I walked in at 7:10.

Edit: why do I keep going back? Always out of everything, today no different. Out of peppermint syrup, out of caramel. Finally get a drink they have ingredients for and they are out of sleeves and my cup is only 3/4 full. Just not worth it. No apologies, no offers to fix anything. I have tried to love this location, and earlier this week there were new people working in the morning and things actually felt like they were improving, but today the same crew was back and the problems persisted! Mobile orders not ready (15+ minutes after being placed) or not made at all because they are out of something. Drinks consistently made incorrectly. Today I am not sure there is any espresso in my drink it is so pale. I truly believe the problems stem from the morning manager. She is rude to employees, barking orders, being very rude, but not actually doing much herself. When she is there the employees look miserable and their work obviously suffers. She also gets very rude when concerns are brought up by customers. I was so excited that there was finally a Starbucks in Algiers, but the service leaves something to be desired.

Ordered two venti iced matchas with 7 scoop of matcha( they made it regular 5 scoops), brown sugar syrup and strawberry purée on the bottom in one and mango purée in the other. The guy who took my order charged me for mango dragonfruit juice and strawberry purée in the one I wanted mango purée in. Not even telling me they didn't have mango purée. On top of that the girl that made it didn't add the mango dragonfruit bc I told her he had my order wrong. She said there's no mango purée and it's only juice which I didn't want so she didn't add it. Although, they charge me for it. Not only that she shaken the purée into the tea ‍. She then said she can see if there is any reimbursement for that but I had used my stars to redeem it so what's the point. It seems like she didn't want to remake it or refund me so I just accepted it and left. After I left and start drinking my tea I noticed that the cup was filled all the way up with ice!!! So basically I got a grande with max ice. My first and last time I'm coming to this location. (The picture is 10 mins after I got the order where the ice had melted quite a bit.)

There is only one word that comes to mind when I think of this Starbucks, and that's FINALLY!!!!!!! Oh my gosh I cannot explain how long I have been waiting for a Starbucks in Algiers and I am in loveeeee with this one since it has opened. My very first impression was how nice and big the building was. The interior is especially appealing with very nice architecture, decor, and plenty of seating. The staff are friendly and helpful and on my first visit one of the baristas offered me a free drink because she had accidentally made an extra one. I have been here 3 times since it has opened and have gotten multiple drinks at each visit--all of which were made to my liking. So far I have zero complaints and I'm sure this place will live up to its name. I will definitely continue to heavily support this Starbucks!

Not sure what's up with the low rating for this location. Every time I go my order is ready as scheduled (mobile user here) and if I don't feel like waiting in the drive thru, a quick hop inside to the pick up area and I'm on my way. Saturday afternoon around noon, it's usually busy. Located in the Rouses/Planet Fitness parking lot.about ten minutes from where I work. Friendly, courteous staff.

No Vanilla. No Sweet Cream. Just plain black cold brew.

UPDATE: Today they were out of the sleeves for the cups. I order my drink extra hot and definitely needed a sleeve but of course they were out... I also had to ask TWICE for a stopper for my drink since they refuse to set them out in the lobby like other Starbucks. They have them in a cup at the drive thru window only. UPDATE: Nothing has changed... It's a disaster... Mobile Order placed 30mins ago... Been here waiting 20mins.... Finally got my drink and had to basically beg for a stopper... Yesterday they didn't have stoppers at all... -------------/ UPDATE: Still a tragedy... Waiting for my mobile order for over 20minutes UPDATE: Still terrible and my drink ALWAYS has too much cream smh... The manager that is there in the mornings (light skin African American) is to blame for how terrible things are in the mornings... She looks miserable and pissed at all times and treats the staff miserably... Those girls are never smiling and it's cus she talks to them like they are 12... No constructive criticism or actual managing... Just barking out orders with soooo much attitude... I've literally traveled the world and have never been to a more depressing Starbucks in my life... Once you bring in a MANAGER that isn't miserable and retrain the staff they'll have a shot... I sure hope it's soon smh ----------------/ I have made 5 trips here (all mobile orders) and 4 of my orders were wrong and the 1 that was right was only 2/3 full... I'm assuming the baristas don't know how to make the drinks smh It su I was so excited we were getting a Starbucks in Algiers but this is a huge disappointment...

The Welcome board is so cute!

Great place to study or have a meeting! I love the decor and the friendly baristas! They are always cleaning and taking care of the store. They take their time to know their customer's names and help when needed.

I settled on popcorn caramel and baklava in a waffle bowl. An employee said that everything was made in-house. The price was standard considering that all was made there. The service was weird. I kept getting served after people who'd gotten there after me. My ice cream scoops were significantly smaller than my boyfriend's. Returning isn't high on my list of priorities, but I'm glad I tried them.

Like where have I been?! We are forever grateful for that alone. As someone who already loves Vietnamese culture through food here in New Orleans, this place just hits. Vietnamese coffee is a staple for me--not even for energy, but for the flavor. If you know, you know... that bold, strong, chicory-meets-condensed-milk moment. It's rich, it's cultural, it's intentional. And when you start adding things like pandan cold foam? Simple, but it speaks volumes about the influence and beauty of the Vietnamese community here. I respect it, deeply. Now let's talk about that Croffle... a croissant-waffle situation. I went with the Chantilly and berries because... you already know, I'm gonna choose what feels like home every time. The cream was smooth, the fruit was fresh, everything worked. My only thing--personally--it was a little heavy on the almonds for me. Still good, just my preference. We also had The American--eggs, bacon, French ham, hand-cut fries, garlic aioli, and a baguette. I shared it with my son and made my own little sandwich moment with it. Used the aioli as a base, layered the eggs, bacon, and ham... and I feel like that's exactly what it was meant for. Solid, simple, and filling. I've tried a few other things too like the bánh mì and donuts. The bánh mì was good, donuts were okay... not my go-to for that. But that frozen cocktail? Listen... it was TOO good. Took it to a festival with me and between that drink and that sun, I slept the whole festival away lol. Overall, I'll definitely be back. I still want to try more from the kitchen--especially that chicken everybody keeps talking about. This is a great spot for early weekend brunch, late evening studying, or weekday coffee runs. Not too small, not too big. Beautiful lighting. A really good addition to Gretna.
