I've been frequenting this Starbucks for a little over a year. I like working remotely here because there's plenty of seating, outlets, and natural light. They've also changed the layout a few times, which has been interesting to see over time, haha. I haven't tried the food, so I can't speak on that. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and they greet customers when they walk in. It's also easy to get their attention if you need anything, like the restroom code. I usually order online, and I've only had one issue with a drink being made incorrectly, but it wasn't a big deal. They've also been consistent with my cappuccinos. The staff regularly clean the tables and sweep the floors, so the store stays nice and clean. They also keep the restroom codes updated so only customers can access them. Overall, this is a solid Starbucks to work remotely from, with plenty of seating, outlets, and accommodating staff. read more

This one of the two Starbucks in Napa I stop by after visiting my Mom and stepdad after long lunch. I need the caffeine for the long drive back home. The folks at this store are always helpful and friendly. During my last visit a young lady at the counter almost described every single item on the menu to a couple. I thought to myself that obviously the couple had NEVER been in a Starbucks before after they asked question after question. The young lady demonstrated patience and knowledge as the questions last over five minutes. Not a long time in the grand scheme of things, but an eternity if you were waiting behind them. It's a Starbucks. The regular coffee is iffy, the espresso drinks are decent, you can concoct all sorts of sugary things if you want to, and the food is overpriced and lame. But you already knew that, because this is the formula for every Starbucks. So, my review is about this location. It's nothing unique, but the service is fine, the employees are friendly and efficient, and there's plenty of parking since it shares a lot with the rest of the plaza. I generally order through the app for Starbucks vs adding a human interaction to my day, but if you do decide to order at the counter, the line is never long here, and it moves quickly. If you do order online, whatever you order will be ready at the stated time, which I appreciate. Oh, and the "reusable cup" trial was short-lived, and they're back to regular, normal cups. they never have straws accessible you're always forced to ask that's if you can get an employee to stop talking to their coworker to acknowledge you. my hot chocolate was a venti and only filled up so much it was basically a grande so they stiff you on a milk drink of all things. they couldn't get the peppermint COFFEE frap right, they gave us regular with no coffee. they were super slow too and messed up this bad. I definitely wont be coming to this location if you can't get a simple drink right when you're slow, you need better employees. read more

The positive, customer service isn't bad at all. Was greeted while entering and the baristas were moving quickly during the week's morning rush. Secondly, made a mobile order of two items and they had it ready in 6 minutes! My drink was delicious and made exactly as I requested. Negatives, ordered oatmeal and the fixings (which are an extra charge now? Has the blueberries and nuts always been an extra charge on top of the oatmeal? I'm not a frequent Starbucks buyer so seriously wondering.) received moldy blueberries, and way too much water in my oatmeal. See pics. Well.... finally a Starbucks that hasn't yet gone totally minimalist on its seating by switching to 100% hard wooden chairs! There's only two, but there are two very nice soft padded chairs that and very nice for relaxing in while drinking coffee. It seems almost all Starbucks these days have abandoned their old style of having soft comfortable seating, padded benches and padded seats that are very soft and comfortable. This store has two, and although it's not much, it's nice. The rest are all hard wood. There's also lots and lots of room, many tables and plenty of parking, even for large trucks. (At least early in the morning). There's also good service, at least as far as I have seen, and that's nice. As far as Starbucks goes, at least in terms of the average Starbucks, this one is better than most. read more

I've been to this Starbucks numerous times for my mobile order pick up. I understand the staff is usually swamped with mobile orders and walk-ins, but they don't have a drive-thru. For the last year, every time I go in for my pick up, there's hardly ever a hello or acknowledgment. The team definitely seems swamped, so I get it. But the energy is very negative there amongst the team members. To get to the point, most of the time, they look like they hate their job. 3 Stars because I know the work hard. I feel bad that they probably have to deal with the homeless population there on a daily basis. There are no outlets to plug in your laptop, so I get the feeling they want us to just leave. I'm not sure if they are understaffed there because everyone looks overwhelmed. read more

I have not been here in a while and they have a New breakfast sandwich of pork shoulder, bacon egg. They seem to be very backed up today as we were there 35 minutes waiting. This review is for Courtney and her amazing customer service and shining personality! I came in around 9:15 this morning just to grab coffee, but my stomach told me it was time to eat as well. As a vegan, it's usually hard to find any pastries at Starbucks that meet my dietary needs. As Courtney was taking my order I asked her if there were any vegan pastries... and boy did she help my hungry tummy out! As a vegan herself, she was knowledgeable about what foods would be best to satisfy my craving, and she suggested an avocado spread to go on my everything bagel (I didn't even know Starbucks had avocado spread!). It definitely hit the spot! Not only was Courtney knowledgeable and helpful, she struck me as a very genuine and kind individual. I used to work in customer service, and I know things can get monotonous (and sometimes people aren't very nice to you), it can be hard at times to be so genuine. But, it's easy to tell that Courtney really does care about others and understands that even the smallest interactions can make someone's day... she definitely made my Saturday morning! read more

The Starbucks Juniper Latte has now gone nationwide. I went for their seasonal honey pistachio croissant that was delicious. Starbucks in Redwood Plaza is basically in a ghost town, with 3 major vacancies. It's one of the few signs of life, now that the huge Vallergas grocery store is shuttered. The Juniper Latte has a delicious floral flavor, it reminded me of City Garden Doughnuts' signature Garden Latte. Service was friendly. The store itself was clean. Cons- Service was very slow, maybe because of large mobile orders backing them up? Less seating, a homeless dude encamped out front. Staff is friendly, no shade on them. But the store covered all of the power outlets so you can't use chargers for laptops or other devices. Hard to find a decent place to study in Napa and I certainly won't make this my spot for work or studying. read more

Every time I come here, no matter what day or what time.... there's always at least 5-20 people standing anxiously waiting for their drinks... I don't really know what's going on or why it takes the staff so long to get the drinks out. In addition I've done mobile ordering here a few times. Usually by the time I arrive at the location, my drink is ready to pick up and I can be on my way. I like doing this before I go into work.... but one time I was there I had to remind them to make my mobile order and I was late for work... because it took 10+ minutes to make when I arrived there even when I ordered ahead. The second time I did the mobile order I had to abandon my drink that I already paid for or else I'd be late for work..... so I'm not terribly happy with their service. read more

I don't feel comfortable going inside the store yet. The staff is amazing. They always come out and greet me. They bring my coffee outside and never make me feel bad about not feeling comfortable. They always greet me with a smile, even if a customer has given them a hard time. This wasn't my regular Starbucks, but it is now. I appreciate every one of the staff. Stop making me feel like I don't exist I've been a Starbucks member for a very long time now. I normally mobile order, but today my app was saying something was going wrong on the apps end. I went in and ordered my drink (grande, iced vanilla late, light ice, and coconut milk) and during my wait time of 15 min, they were able to make about 8/9 other drinks not including food. When i ordered there were only two people before me in the line, not only that the drink was wrong! I'm very disappointed with the service provided here. The lady at the register was no where to be found for 2 minutes. Then she came in to put the trash bags in the garbage and made us wait even longer. She could have stopped what she was doing to take our orders. Then the girl making the drinks was slow as molasses. The 3rd person in line got their drink first and left before me and the person in front of me and they showed up 3 minutes after us. The girl at the register ended up making my drink probably because of how irritated I was with how slow this girl was taking. I want to start by saying I go to Starbucks all over the country, while travelling and with children, and I have never been treated how we were treated at this location. I met a friend here and her 1 and half year old for coffee/breakfast with myself and my 1 and 2 year old. All of our food and drink were good and we sat down inside to visit and feed the kids. After about 20 minutes an employee comes up to us and asks us to leave because our children "distracting customers". My 2 year had just hurt his leg and was crying as I was trying to help him calm down she came over saying we have to leave. Her reasons were that the children were "loud and distracting customers". I had a hard time responding because of my astonishment that an employee was actually asking us to leave and was not even concerned with the children's well being. This is discriminatory and offensive. I understand that sometimes children are yes... loud and distracting... but that is not a reason to remove them from a public space.... that is how children are. As we were gathering our things to leave 2 other customers came up to us and told us the kids were fine and that we should not have been asked to leave. It is asolutely not okay to treat hard working mothers this way who are just trying to get a visit in with the little amount time available to us. Let alone babies who do not know better and 1 who was actually injured. Extremely disappointing. Corporate office has been contacted. read more

I went to starbucks and ordered 4 of the largest passion fruit tea lemonades. When they came out (which was after 15 min) they were discolored and tasted like water with a hint of tea. They were probably too lazy to brew more passion tea that they just added water to it. They even forgot to add the lemonade. I am in town from Chicago and decided to visit this Starbucks, which is the closest to my hotel. I ordered my daily drink; yes I'm a advocate Starbucks customer drinking Starbucks everyday and needless to say I was extremely disappointed about my visit. I ordered a Carmel Frappuccino w/almond milk extra Carmel drizzle in cup and on top. Several orders that were placed after mine were prepared before mine. While waiting the Barista never moves asked what I ordered. I had to inquire about the status myself and was told "oh! I could not figure out how a Starbucks would get a 2.5 star average until I stopped by. The bathroom was out of soap, paper towels, toilet paper but had extra shit stains everywhere. The counter where u get cream and sugar was sticky and disgusting. It took 15 minutes to make a pour over decaf and there were no other customers at 8pm. All milk and cream contains were empty and the staff seemed confused when I brought one back to the counter. When I mentioned the bathroom was a problem they said " I will let them know".
