We came by here yesterday for some cold treats on the hot day. It was nice to walk into the cute store that was kept very cool perfectly on a hot day. The workers were friendly and very quick to help us. I decided to have a scoop of salted caramel blondie on a small sugar cone and hubby got a butter pecan shake. Hubby said the shake was good but on the thin side as he likes a thicker shake. I loved my ice cream and would get it again but maybe two scoops LOL. There are seats inside and outside too. Overall it was my first time here and having their ice cream and I enjoyed the flavor and place. I would come back again when I am in the area.

Me and my cousin had dessert on the brain and Ben and Jerry's came in for the win. Unfortunately we had to get there before they closed at 9:00. We were able to make it however there was an influx of people there. The service was limited and a bit Snappy. My cousin asked to order next and the staff let her know she would get to her in a minute. I understand that it might have been a long day however customer service always wins in the end.

Suuuuuper creamy and delicious ice cream! They gave us two samples each, and we selected to share a small cup. One scoop of Chocolate Therapy and one scoop of The Tonight Dough. The combo was terrific and just enough for my husband and I to share. I really wanted to try the Salted Caramel Brookie, but they said it would take too long to get from the back, so that was a bummer. The outside seating was really nice.

The perfect post-lunch sweet treat. SO MUCH ICE CREAM -- so maybe size down or embrace the filled to the brim cone!

"Two Scoops" for $8.75. Rip off

Poorly run shop. Only one worker present with a long line that kept growing. She was also waiting on each customer as they tried different flavors, compared to most ice cream places that allow you to try but then the individual helps the next customer while you decide. I ordered a waffle cone with two scoops. One of Cherry Garcia and one of The Tonight Dough. Ice cream itself was solid, but I got the world's tiniest scoops. Total was $8.75, and I felt entirely ripped off.

Went for Dessert Food - 5/5. Ice cream was creamy and decadently rich. Sweetness was strong, but not overpowering making you crave the next bite every time. Bits of cookies and brownies added a nice bite to what is a completely smooth texture and the flavors were a perfect match for the ice cream. Service - 4/5. The line moved fast and service was friendly. Value - 4/5. The ice cream is delicious with plenty of flavors to choose from. Portion sizes are nice with two full scoops for a small. These days, the prices are what they are but $7.25 for ice cream still stings on the wallet. Parking - Street/Municipal Lot (Free)

Took my family here for birthday ice cream, it was a cold day, so it wasn't busy. Got excellent service, sampled some new flavors. The ice cream was delicious, just as you'd expect from Ben and Jerry's! Clean and welcoming.

Great location Not the nicest staff but whatever. We just wanted some ice cream. Eight people allowed inside at a time during covid times so we had to wait outside until some customers exit. It was just the way one of the employees said to wait outside was a little rude. Tone makes a big difference and we didn't appreciate the tone. I know we could've left and got boba drinks instead elsewhere LoL! but we opted to wait. We entered the store as soon as we were able to. We waited patiently again for our turn to be assisted. I wanted chocolate chip but I guess they didn't have it because I was given chocolate chip cookie dough instead. I'm not too fond of cookie dough flavor. My hubby couldn't find a flavor he liked so he just made a choice... I can't recall the name. The scoops were small. Anyway, that was it. Paid cash and left. I love Ben & Jerry's but was not too thrilled about this particular one. The store is in a great location right in the downtown area near Cole's Chop House. There are bistro tables setup outside. This is the first location that we have been to. On a Friday or Saturday night the service was pretty quick and the ice cream was delicious.

What a nice surprise a trailer that isn't a taco truck. It's a small trailer packing a lot of flavor. Avertiszements were for a prime rib cheese sandwich. I was delighted to be greeted with a friendly positive attitude and in this time of isolation it's needed. The sandwich comes in a 4 inch for $7.50 and a 8inch for $15.00. Quality bread, great quality cheese, medium quality meat which is saying a lot for a food truck as most have low quality gristle. The onions and peppers melded together perfectly, they don't hold back on the amount of ingredients. Juicy meat the hole thing made my mouth water with each bite. I was worried I was drooling and kept wiping my mouth lol. I have had some steak sandwiches this by far was the best. My only complaint was the bread needed more toasting or a different bread as within 3 minutes it was soggy with that juicy goodness. As a side note if the business owners see this find space to relocate onto soscol between Wallmart and the tracks you will make a killing.

Matt and Patrick were extremely friendly and the food was to die for! We celebrated our microwedding in Mill Valley and I have always selected new restaurants based on yelps top reviewed restaurants. I figured this would be the best way to go to select a catering option for an area we're not local to or able to try before in person. The reviews did not steer us wrong. We would love to book again after experiencing the food and stellar service. Appetizers: We ordered the heirloom tomato bruschetta which was one of my favorites! The tomatoes were fresh and every bite was memorable! The goat cheese croquettes were to die for and the braised pork shoulder had everyone coming back for more! Dinner: I'm not a huge kale person but we had an amazing kale Caesar salad that had me hoping I could recreate it at home. I honestly don't think there was any left over! It was accompanied by the grilled antipasto platter which complemented the lasagna dinner we had perfectly! The vegetables were cooked and seasoned to perfection! We had the classic bolognese lasagna and red wine braised boneless beef short ribs for our dinner option which were gone in the blink of an eye. Dessert: To top it off, we finished with the mini amaretto panna cotta and blackberry coulis. They were as delicious as they were aesthetically appealing!

My husband and I were set on having pupusas for our wedding, and it was a surprisingly difficult thing to accomplish. From all of our efforts and research, pupuserias don't really do wedding catering, and wedding caterers don't really do pupusas, but Chef Matt pulled it off for us on a whole nother level of excellence! When we originally reached out to him, he just said that they could do it, and we were ecstatic. At our first tasting, he had already gone to his local pupusa spot to analyze the timing, and watch the whole process. He hadn't done pupusas before, but had the drive, determination, and confidence to pull it off for us. When our wedding day came, we along with every one of our guests were absolutely blown away by the quality of every bit of food and drinks that they provided us all with. He was able to find the wife of a Salvadoran friend, and her mother, to help him make them all fresh on our wedding day, on a plancha that they were able to bring. The vibe was incredible, the food was impeccable, and even the Salvadorans attending were incredibly impressed. From the yucca fries to the plantain chips, from the guacamole to the curtido, from the coffee to the agua frescas, from the salsas to the amazing service, from the compostable serving ware to the incredible bartender. People still can't stop raving. The pupusas, the dips, the black chili salsa, the coffee, just everything. Kharma worked with us relentlessly over every tiny detail to get all of it right, and everything came together SO beautifully, and went SO smoothly without even the smallest hitch. Chef Matt and the Epicurean Escape Catering team literally made our dreams come true. We cannot recommend them enough!!!

I had heard of them before because a friend used them for their wedding, and since I plan events for a living, I've worked with a lot of caterers. For my own event though, price mattered a lot, but I still wanted really good food. After reaching out to a bunch of places, I went with Havana because I had tried their food before and their pricing was very reasonable. We ordered full trays of adobo chicken, lechon roasted pork, crispy tofu, paella, sofrito rice, black beans, corn, poblano mac and cheese, and plantains. I did bring in one dish from another restaurant, Jamaican oxtail, just because I know my guests are big foodies. The biggest hits from Havana were definitely the poblano mac and cheese, lechon, and the paella. Honestly, the mac and cheese was the standout. Everyone kept going back for it and I wish I had ordered an extra tray. What really stood out to me though was the delivery experience. The driver called me ahead of time, brought everything in, and set it all up. He opened the trays with gloves, added sauces, arranged everything nicely, and even put out utensils and labels. I've had plenty of catering deliveries before and this was easily one of the best. He was just genuinely kind and went above and beyond, and it made a big difference. Overall, everything went smoothly, the food was great, and I would definitely order from them again.

Please heed my warning (and those of the other most recent reviews!) and save yourself the time,…read moremoney, effort, and stress - hire literally ANY other caterer for your event. After months of poor communication and several displays of unprofessionalism, I tried to cancel our contract 6 weeks prior to our wedding date. I was in a dispute with the owner (Gabe) to try and get a refund for an event he hadn't even catered, and he refused to provide it. Note that the owner himself has stated that he thinks his business is headed to an end. See attached photo for text messages I received from him with this claim. If anything, you don't want to work with someone who cannot maintain a professional demeanor in their client correspondence. In case you need further convincing to NOT hire Ring of Fire, feel free to read through my ordeal below. --- In February of this year, I reached out in search of a wedding caterer. Gabe invited me and my partner to a complimentary tasting with other couples who were interested in booking. The tasting went great (the ONLY thing that went well in all my interactions with them) so we booked and paid a 50% deposit. Over the next few months I reached out to get deadlines and feedback on our proposed menu. After repeated attempts to contact him, the only time he really reached out was to offer a discount on our balance if we paid it early. In hindsight, this should have been a *red flag* - no professional would ever reach out to a client to ask them to pay something in advance of the contract terms unless they were poorly managing their business and finances. Instead, thinking it was gesture of customer service, we went ahead and paid our balance early to get the discount. However, after paying, Gabe unprofessionally asked us to reschedule our already confirmed site tour in favor of booking another lunch. My wedding coordinator and I agreed to reschedule, only to have him NO SHOW for the site tour. 15 minutes after the confirmed meeting time I called Gabe to get his ETA. He didn't seem to know where our venue was (even though he accepted a calendar event with the date, time, and address in it) and told me was still 50 minutes away so we proceeded without him. Had we waited, he would have been OVER AN HOUR LATE. At this point, I lost faith that ROF could cater my event. We were still 6 weeks away from our date so I requested to cancel our contract and get back the balance payment (that HE requested we pay early). Needless to say, he did not want to grant the refund. I worked with an attorney and determined the best course of action was to file a dispute with the credit card company AND to sue him in small claims court as backup. Luckily, the credit card company resolved the dispute in my favor but I still experienced an extreme amount of stress trying to book a new caterer with less than 6 weeks from my wedding date - something I would never wish on any bride. Again, please save yourself the stress and look elsewhere for your caterer.

All of the food was delicious (and the artichoke dip is still my favorite thing ever). We were given the option to pay in full upfront so we did.  When Covid hit, Gabe was very understanding and accommodating about moving the date, which we did twice. We finally celebrated in June 2022, and unfortunately the team was dealing with some key staff out for Covid.  We were super happy with Gabe until pretty much the day of the wedding itself. He had previously said he was going to come by in the morning for setup but never showed up or answered our message asking if he was still coming. We were also supposed to have the big truck showcased on the property and they arrived with the smaller truck. Come to find out the big truck had been inoperable and they couldn't fix it that morning. When the staff started arriving, the first thing they tell me is how they're short staffed and needed to move their crew around, service might be slower, etc. This felt unprofessional especially since it all ended up being fine. We paid for 120 head count and only had about 90 ppl show up, so we told them to leave leftovers. I'm not sure what happened but we had zero leftovers, even though Gabe was saying we'd have a bunch. They also didn't serve coffee in the evening though we had paid for it. Overall we've gotten so much positive feedback on the food and bar, the crew was great, but the unprofessionalism in the final moments really left a sour taste in my mouth. I'm sure some of this had to do with the fact that we paid in 2019 and that doesn't feel fair given that it was an option he offered to us.
