Let me preface by saying that I frequent this Starbucks every day. The drinks are always delicious and if it's messed up, they always fix it. This review has nothing to do with a beverage. It has to do with the petite girl with shoulder length blonde hair who obviously needs a day off. She was screaming at everyone, coworkers and customers alike. And her tone was dripping with such disdain and condescension. I did have an issue with a drink being wrong and when I very politely asked her to correct it, she was incredibly patronizing and downright rude. She was yelling to everyone to wait in one specific spot in the store, well that's not social distancing. And then she was screaming "have a good day, ok?" At max volume to everyone. AND she snapped at 9 year old daughter when she reached for HER drink. Pretty sure I will not be back to this location after being an every day customer for the last 6 years. read more

Rockland plaza in Nanuet, NY - Everyday my friend and I come here during our lunch break. This location never fails to wait 15 minutes or more for your coffee order.. Including mobile orders! Yes.. mobile orders. I thought the whole purpose of mobile order was to avoid wait time but clearly not at this location. All the female barista are ALWAYS gossiping which is the reason for delay and they never make the beverages the same, always doing short cuts or it's missing something. It's more important for them to have chatting free time rather then work. I mean no one wants to do there job right anymore.. This is my favorite Starbucks in rockland county! They are the nicest people and so friendly! They take care of their customers and always give a 5* experience! Lorenzo the manager was very rude to me. My mother placed an order to go and my sister and I went to pick it up. Two of the orders were made wrong (the violet drink and the ombré pink drink) and I went back inside to say something about it. Lorenzo happened to be closest to me so I said something to him. I very politely said, "Hey these orders were ordered on line both with no ice and both have ice in them." He said, in the most sarcastic tone possible, "Well this one doesn't say no ice on it." We ordered online and the violent drink had many accommodations so they didn't show on the receipt. I mentioned that to him also. He rolled his eyes at me and said "You're just going to have to wait a few minutes." So I waited and got the new drinks and they clearly didn't read the order because none of the accommodations we made on either of them were there. When my mother called to complain we had to call 3 times before we were answered by Lorenzo who was also arrogant and sarcastic to my mom on the phone. Last time I will go there. If you're gonna go to a Nanuet starbucks, check out the one in The Shops at Nanuet. Avoid the one in Rockland Plaza unless you'd like to be treated poorly. read more

I like to enjoy a vanilla chai latte as I commute to work, and this is the only Star Bucks I can easily get to. Unfortunately, the staff isn't very friendly. When you walk in they are engaged in conversation and seem annoyed that you are interrupting to order something. One particular girl is frosty despite seeing me every morning. She never says good morning and seems irritated all the time. I really don't get it....if you don't like your job, find another. Yesterday she sold me a stale crescent and when I mentioned it this morning to a different girl, she did NOTHING, but say "I'm sorry about that." This used to be a decent Starbucks, but over the past year it has gone rapidly downhill. We used to have great experiences here and the baristas were always friendly and helpful. I'm really not sure what happened. One of the most ridiculous experiences that we've had recently is the policy of not selling food out of the case in the evening. I've never seen anything like it. Twice my kids and I went there after an evening rehearsal and they've refused to sell us food out of the case. They offered the kids a few wrapped croissants from a basket that they kept behind the register, which of course they didn't want, with the brownies, scones, and cake pops staring at them from the case! The manager told us that it was because flies got on the food, so she only sold the wrapped food after a certain time of day. Have never, ever seen anything like it. read more

Not a huge fan of the manager Lorenzo. I ordered an americano with a half pump of a flavor and he charged me .50 for that half pump when everyone doesn't at ALL other locations. He said I have to "company policy". Then he proceeded to inform his employees not to forget for flavor charges. I didn't even get a full pump lol, it was a half pump. Every other Starbucks in the country has never charged me. I don't care if it's .50 or not. Always was one of my favorite Starbucks but recently it has gone downhill. There must be new management because all the good baristas are no longer there and there seems to be a lot of turnover. SLOW SLOW-SLOWER is the best way to describe the workers. At 7:30 in the morning there are two people working and the one young girl is sort of clueless about the drinks and keeps asking the other one questions which makes the process even slower.They need at least four people in the morning working and a lot better barista training.
