What I loved: -The dirty iced chai latte I got was strong and veryyyyy flavorful. They also had a Tough Chai on the menu but the barista let me know that just means its a little spicier (chai spice, not heat spice). I got the standard and LOVED it. And can also say I think it is plenty tough. Just the right amount of toughness. -The space is bright and open and not too packed with tables. There are a few along the window and a few outside. -The food menu looked amazing! I will have to make a return visit specifically for lunch to try more. -Baristas were kind and helpful. All in all, a great visit and what might have been a top chai latte in my books.

3 and 3/4 stars…read more Someone said a "slice of Boca"? No, not quite. (Although "not Boca" isn't necessarily a bad thing.) However you look at it, the comparison is inflated. The latte was good (not delicious), but a tad watery with a fullness of flavor missing. It was a rainy Saturday afternoon and the place was busy, but not overwhelming so. Tables were full, but it was only a short wait for me to place my simple order (by coffee shop standards) of a small, vanilla latte. However, once my order was taken (yes, the wait-server was pleasant) and I paid, I was left to figure it out. First time in and so I didn't know what the deal was: do I wait where I am? Pick up at a different counter? Ok...but where? Does someone call my drink out when it's ready (there's no put-your-name-on-a-cup thing -- which IS annoying, but apparently can be more handy than I've previously thought)? Is the order stated when the cup is placed down? The person who waited on me had vanished into a gaggle of chatting and giggling girls behind the counter, so I asked another customer. (FYI: you wait at the perpendicular counter to your left of the register.) No big deal, but it's one of those "little things" that separates the four stars from the five. I moved to the "wait" counter and observed a few drinks being placed down -- all beverages in similar cups -- and had to (again) ask someone else for help (i.e., which order was mine), as the barista who made my drink put it down and then disappeared into that gaggle of girls. (Also minor, but another separator of the three and three quarter stars from the four.) In short, the latte was good, but not the best. The service? Ok, but not the best. The ambiance? Again ok. Maybe because I've lived in SE Florida for more than 20 years, but it definitely does not have that true Boca feel. Nonetheless, given the options in the area, Hamilatte is a welcome attempt at something different, and definitely a preferred choice to Starbucks. I will return if I'm nearby, but I won't go out of my way (as I do for a truly 5-star establishment).

0 stars if that were an option. Absolutely terrible experience…read more We went to Paris Baguette in Plainsboro to purchase a $50 cake for my son's birthday. We specifically ordered a strawberry chocolate cake. When I asked the employee when the cake had been made, she told me that it had been made that same day and was fresh. Based on that information, we trusted the bakery and took the cake home. What we discovered when we opened the cake was completely unacceptable. The strawberries on top were already spoiled, and the strawberries inside the cake were also spoiled. Even worse, the cake we were given was not even the strawberry chocolate cake we ordered. It was a strawberry matcha cake. The matcha/tea flavor meant that my children could not eat the cake at all, which completely ruined what was supposed to be a special birthday celebration. This was not a cheap purchase--we paid $50 for a birthday cake--and we were told explicitly that the cake was fresh and made that day. Receiving a completely different cake containing spoiled fruit is simply unacceptable. I am extremely disappointed with the quality control, accuracy of the order, and the customer service. A birthday cake should not come home with spoiled fruit, nor should a customer have to discover that they were given an entirely different cake than what they ordered. This was one of the worst bakery experiences I've ever had. I would not recommend this location and will not be returning.

On top of that, it came black--with no milk--which is very unusual for a latte. When we asked about it, we were told that milk isn't automatically included, which is not typical and wasn't explained upfront. Beyond the confusion with the drinks, the staff came across as rude and unhelpful when we tried to clarify. Overall, it was a frustrating experience, and unfortunately we would not return.
