I love this location, staff is so genuinely friendly! They always follow my special order instructions (Ex. Ice level and added extras!) I got a strawberry açai lemonade refresher, which is from the cold drinks menu! It's a good choice for when you don't want any coffee or tea. I feel embarrassed that I have frequented this Starbucks for five years and have never left a review. This trend stops now! I started working in Mississauga over five years ago. I wanted to get a beverage at Starbucks, but the closest one by my office at the time was at the airport. It was tricky to drop my co-worker off at the terminal and circle around until she got our order. I would then pick her up and head back to the office. It was incredibly inconvenient! After doing some research, I found this location. I mainly use the drive-thru, but will occasionally go in to see what sandwiches and baked goods are available. Every barista that I have interacted with at this cafe is friendly and helpful. I had to ask one barista whether a wrap that she had recommended had any black pepper. At the time, I had a horrible cough and black pepper irritated my throat even more. She made the extra effort to read all the ingredients on the wrap before saying that it was okay for me to buy it. I loved that! The only downside is that the store often runs out of items that I want when I'm there at 6 pm. It's understandable that it's late in the day and items disappear. However, it's a 24-hour cafe, so it should be stocked more. Anyway, I like this location. It's even closer to my current office, so it's convenient to swing by for my tea or iced tea fix. read more

I would call this a "Starbucks Express". Sure it serves the whole menu in terms of drinks, but don't they all? The reason I would say this is an express location is the fact that there is very limited seating there. There may be about 2/3 small tables and a bit of bar table space, but that's about it. There is however a cafeteria next door in the gas station, but I wouldn't really go there to sip and enjoy a coffee (while watching people order subs from subway). On a good note they do have a drive thru... yet another reason to just order and get out. read more

I came to this store today to buy 5 coffees and requested that the reward card be swiped 5 times. I was told, impolitely, that this is unfair to others as there is a line up. And that I should line up again - multiple times. I've been a Starbucks patron since my college days. I have averaged about $750 a year for my coffee alone- about $15 a week.That's what I pay for without my friends coming with me - more if I meet up with friends. But I only started using the reward card when it was introduced last year and bought the coffee card that goes with my car key. With reward system, I thought, It's about time to get free coffees out of thousands of dollars I've spent on them. Just free coffee. Now my question is...has the quality of service at Starbucks deteriorated? With many shops that offer the same coffee experience, namely Aroma, Second Cup, Urban Cafe and hotel lounges... I don't know why should I continue to patronize this store. I have $60 left on my card so I am not sure now whether I should cancel my auto reload. read more

This is my least favourite Starbucks but the closest one to my previous job (ugh first world problems). I would rather drive 2 km further just to avoid this place. THAT BAD. This place is busy and impersonal. They decline requests that other locations would grant and let's just keep in mind that this is a corporate location. If I pay $4 each for a drink and ask for a extra cup of hot water, then I think that is a fair request. They would rather give two tall cups over the requested venti cup. They say it's a rule but I'll just have to ask for a double cup on my venti drink. I think they make it more complicated that it should be. They serve Starbucks coffee. That's about it. There's barely any seating, one table, and some bar stools. There's one counter for coffee and snacks ordering. Although the snacks counter is small, they do have everything that you would expect. There's another counter for coffee beans grinding and ordering. You don't see these very much, and SB usually prepacks the ground beans for you. Another perk of this location is the drive through. I use this quite a bit, since parking is sometimes hard during peak hours (where are all these people going?!). It's attached to the Canadian Tire Gas Station store, so beats the convenience store coffee. Location is convenient, but annoying since you can only get there by going Westbound on Eglinton, and North on Dixie. When leaving is the same deal. You have to do a whole loop to get to the other directions. Then again, the Esso across the street has the same problem. read more

This location is pretty good for a Starbucks. The staff generally faster, more polite, and more accurate than I find at other locations. There's also a good Canadian Tire gas bar which makes it an even more convenient location for me. The staff are even pleased, not just willing to make my unusual requests. I go out of my way to go to this one even though the two by Kipling station are closer to me. The only two real drawbacks of this location is it's often so busy that people are lined up all the way the door. It's not unusual to see 13-16 people in line. Inside there's only seating for about 11 people (3 tables for 2, one large wheelchair accessible table for 2 and a bar with stools for 3.) The patio is really big but with seating for maybe another 12 or so, and partially covered. However you do get the noise of Eglington and Dixie but it's not that bad because the parking lot is so big the streets are actually pretty big. read more

People working on a drive thru are slow, make mistakes, give drinks without lids or straws, there is a minimum 5min waiting if you are second or a third car in a line and l can't remember when they gave me the right order. l always have to repeat my order when l get to the window and they start on my very complicated 2 shoots of expresso at that moment. Fast and efficient is all I have to say about Starbucks! and its crew! As much as I want to review every single location there is, it'll never happen. For the most part, like all other SB's out there, they're all the same in terms of service and cleanliness. I am a big fan of there Oatmeal chocolate brownie, and banana cake....all made and baked with love and care lol. The only drawback was this location was smaller howver the small outdoor patio made up for the lack of table and chairs indoor. Overall Starbucks is a thriving business that's giving Tim Hortons and other coffee chains a run for their money in terms of client retention and customer loyalty. as a manager at starbucks i have to say that they shoukd have given rewards based on WHAT you SPEND. not how often you swipe. loyalty is measured in what your willing to spend. its IS annoying when yiu have a lineup of 20 people and you insist i ring in 9 coffees seperately so you can reach gold status woooooooooo. 2nd level fire breathing elf status. get a life and pay for your coffee like the rest of us and respect others in line. read more

You can tell they work very well as a team and I've learned today not to go to the newer one on Eglinton (it was slightly more convenient to get there), as they have inefficient staff who don't care that people want to be served quickly. read more

From years ago until now, the store has undergone many changes and has really focused on improving its customer service. It's a hit or miss with whichever barista you get, but generally they are all very friendly and will acknowledge you whilst also trying to be quick. It's a coffee shop in the center of many businesses, so it does get its rushes in the morning and at lunch - people order for their office buddies and bottlenecks do occur. However, the baristas are used to this and should be properly staffed to go as fast as possible. If your drink doesn't taste right, they won't hesitate to remake it for you - you just have to ask. They're very good with accommodating special requests. The food - especially their breakfast items - are often underrated. Reasonably priced and very delicious, they have something for everybody. At this particular store, since they are 24hrs, they usually have a higher stock of food product. Therefore they're less likely to be sold out and things are usually fresher. The downside to this store is the very high turnover. They almost always have a newer barista on floor and they might get your drink wrong. Again, they're very accommodating if your drink is not up to your usual standards. Another "downside" is that they are very by the book. So if you usually go to another store and don't et charged for extra syrup or shots or steam milk, this store will generally follow their pricing procedure to a tee. This location is surrounded by many useful food shops and a Canadian Tire gas station, so it's good for a quick trip to get whatever you need. The highway is nearby as well a lot of shopping options. The only more relevant problem is that their cafe is very small and may be hard to get seats during the day time. But it's definitely one of the better Starbucks in the district! read more

Have to agree with the first reviewer, the location is tricky to get to depending on which direction you are coming from. It is also one of the smaller locations I have been to with very little seating (except in the summer when they put some tables outside). If going inside, parking is hard to come by depending on the time of day. I have been going to this location almost everyday since it opened (it's very close to my office). I like the convenience of the drive through but it does depend on what time of day you use the drive through as it can be very busy. Since I am the debit queen and never have cash, I always use debit at the drive through. Recently I tried to pay by debit as I do every other day and for some reason the cashier could not get my card to swipe, he then asked his colleague to try it. She did and then literally tossed it back to me and said "it's your card, it doesn't work" and she walked away. Both myself and the other cashier both just looked at each other in a bit of shock. Problem solved by using my visa. I have actually emailed a complaint regarding this particular rude employee as there were 2 other occasions of sheer rudeness when I had gone inside. This employee was very rude to a customer in front of me when they had asked for the coffee "blonde" (if I remember correctly). They were sort of arguing until the employee ignored the customer and looked at me and said "can I help who's next?" The other time was when I ordered a tall bold with milk from her and she said "I can do the bold but get your own milk". This employee clearly needs a lesson in customer service but won't deter me from my daily Starbucks fix. read more
