For example, I often order a brewed tea with 4 tea bags. Once, it only came with 2 bags in the cup, but I'm pretty sure they steeped 2, tossed the bags, and then put another 2 in the cup for when I picked it up (so the cup wouldn't be more bag than tea). They've also taken very ample COVID-19 measures to ensure customer AND staff safety! The location is quite spacious, which is great for social distancing measures to be implemented.

I was in town attending the 50th Toronto International Film Festival when I ended up at Toronto's Front St. W.'s Starbuck location to grab quick snacks especially since I had a gift card to try and save money on this trip. If you knew me, I wasn't a coffee drinker, but I appreciated the food and non-coffee options they offered. The Starbucks brand had become a global force with seemingly no slowing down in sight with the exception of the ebb-and-flow of the economic market. Did this Starbucks location provide what I needed on my several visits!? PURCHASE(S) Pistachio Cream Cold Brew Grande 16floz ($6.45): As most of you know, I'm not a coffee drinker nor was I a caffeine fiend as many of my friends. However, I was with someone who needed her fix, so we stopped by, I saw the advertising for this drink, and I was sold (damn marketers)! I loved pistachio, and although I generally preferred the chocolatey sugary goodness of a mocha, this called to me on this warm day. Their signature cold brew was sweetened with vanilla syrup, topped with a silky-pistachio cream cold foam and finished with salted brown-buttery sprinkles. I was saddened by the lack of pistachio flavor and tasted more coffee and vanilla than I would've liked. Oh well, at least I tried it. Pumpkin Spiced Latte Grande 16floz Cup ($6.45CAD): I finally had my very first pumpkin spiced latte, and dammit, I liked it! I loved pumpkin, and this literally tasted like a pumpkin pie drink, nice and warm that left me in a cozy feeling. Man, I've been missing a wonderful sensation! Chocolate Croissant ($3.95CAD): A buttery flaky warm breakfast treat in this case, I licked my fingers clean with no evidence in sight! Egg Pesto Mozzarella Sandwich ($5.75CAD): A tidy snack to keep my energy up, this diminutive meal was surprisingly a perfect size, warm, and all the fresh flavors in each bite - mmm! Caramel Macchiato Grande ($5.95CAD): A coffee-esque drink, I loved caramel so I had to try it. Caramelly, frothy, and hot, it still was too much coffee taste for me. My Mr Sub order had a canned drink after all. Well, after grabbing my takeout, I was curious and headed over to Starbucks. Both businesses are in a vast parking lot, so parking is not an issue. This cafe doesn't have a drive-thru. I didn't mind it. I don't think that one would work well given the design of the plaza with box stores. What surprised me was that this store did not have any places to sit down. It was weird. It's set up to grab your order and go. I looked at older photos posted on Yelp for this business listing. It did have chairs and seats years ago. I'm not sure what the rationale was behind getting rid of seating. I frankly wasn't going to sit down, but what if you needed to? There was one person ahead of me at the ordering area. It allowed me to figure out what I wanted. I spotted what looked like the last snowman sugar cookie left. I don't frequent Starbucks as much as I used to. However, I do make it a ritual to get a snowman cookie every year. I nabbed the last one. I got the nicest male barista at the counter. He was great. My order consisted of these items: - Grande iced peach green tea - Snowman sugar cookie I paid with my Starbucks card through the Starbucks app. Done! I waited over at the pickup area. It was busy with roughly four people waiting for their orders. My order was pretty straightforward. I was holding my cookie. The nice man who helped me with my order also made my drink. I remember visiting Starbucks at Brookfield Place, where I worked. I signed up for Starbucks rewards there. Months later, I ended up changing jobs and working at Yonge and Eglinton. There were plenty of Starbucks locations in the area, so I ended up being a regular Starbucks customer. After all these years, I didn't really have a favourite Starbucks cafe. Sure, I visit my local one a lot out of convenience, but it's not my favourite. I'd say the one closest to my workplace is close to being my favourite because it has a drive-thru and staff are extremely friendly. They like being there and appreciate that I appreciate what they do. My friend, Sandy, and I dropped by this Starbucks cafe in late August before a Yelp event in Oakville. Frankly, my knowledge of the Mississauga-Oakville border is so poor that I thought this cafe was in Oakville. Nope, it's considered Mississauga. I have found my favourite Starbucks cafe. It's this one. This cafe has a drive-thru. It had steady business when we dropped by. We wanted to get drinks, sit down, chat, and kill some time. It's rare that I can't comment on going through a Starbucks drive-thru. It's the case here. I backed into a parking spot fairly close to the main entrance. We got out of my car and entered the cafe. Sandy did a pitstop. I used the washroom before we left. There are two single stalls. The one that I used was clean and roomy. I went to place my order. My favourite drink these days is the cool lime refresher. It was a regular drink on the menu years ago. Starbucks got rid of it. When it returns for a limited time, I pounce on it like a tabby cat. I got the nicest barista. When I ordered this refresher in a grande size, she asked if it was for here or to go. I said the former. She asked if I wanted it in a glass or a cup. A glass?! Super fancy! It was a first for me. I went for the glass. Wow! And, that's why this cafe is my favourite. I have never had any Starbucks cold drink in a glass before. I had my Starbucks barcode on my app scanned to pay for my drink. I like that my name shows up automatically on the label. It didn't take long for my drink to be ready. Yes, I picked up the solid glass containing my cool lime refresher. I sat down with Sandy and her drink. My glass had a sticker with my name and my order on it. Maybe my glass was chilled a bit. I loved my cool lime refresher. It tasted even better in a glass. Maybe it's psychological. I don't know. I do know that it hit the spot and I felt classy. Yes to getting a drink in a glass. Sandy had her drink in a cup. I showed her the braille at the bottom of it. She thought it was neat. Her reaction was similar to mine when I accidentally found it. This cafe is clean. Staff are friendly. The only downside was that there weren't any baked goods in the display case. I'm not sure why. Luckily, I wasn't in need for any, so I'm not docking any stars off my rating. There was a bin to put your glasses and dishes in by the garbage and recycle bin. I actually cleaned out my car and brought my empty beverage bottles in to be recycled. I loved being here. This cafe stands out. It is my favourite Starbucks cafe and I'm happy that I have one at long last. I hope to return and try the drive-thru. I'd also like to come back and have a drink in a glass. The team is consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. It never feels scripted. You feel welcomed, remembered, and taken care of every time you walk in. Even during busy periods, the staff stays calm, professional, and positive. There is clearly strong leadership and good training behind the scenes. The store feels well run, organized, and supportive, and that shows directly in the customer experience. The service is consistent, the details are handled well, and the energy in the space is always steady and welcoming. In a brand as large as Starbucks, it is rare to find a location that stands out this much. This one does because of the team culture, the care they bring to their work, and the way they represent the brand day in and day out. Corporate should be proud of the people working here. Highly recommend this location, not just for the coffee, but for the experience.

We politely asked whether we could use the washroom and were told that it was for customers only, so we would need to make a purchase first. We understand that stores may have policies like this, but what was frustrating was the complete lack of discretion or basic customer service. My husband is a Starbucks Reserve member, reflecting years of loyalty and significant spending with Starbucks. We showed staff his Reserve card, opened the Starbucks app, and showed our purchase history, which demonstrates that we make purchases at Starbucks extremely frequently. Despite all of that, we were told it didn't matter unless we purchased something from that specific location at that exact moment. Being told we needed to buy a token item simply to establish that we were "customers" was ridiculous. We could literally demonstrate our longstanding relationship with Starbucks on the spot, showing them our purchase history on the app, yet apparently years of loyalty mattered less than whether we bought a tea in that particular moment. Policies are understandable, but good customer service also requires reasonable judgment. We were polite, clearly established customers, and were simply asking to use a basic facility. The experience left us with the unfortunate impression that customer loyalty to Starbucks matters only at the moment you're handing over more money. For a company with a loyalty program specifically designed to encourage repeat business, that's an incredibly disappointing way to treat some of its most loyal customers.
