This is my favorite Starbucks location in Maricopa. The drinks here usually come out pretty quick, but this past Monday the 19th of Jan was very slow. I ordered a signature Tall coffee through the app as I stood outside. It took 25 minutes. I guarantee you if I ordered inside, they would have poured it for me right then and there. I noticed the workers weren't working as fast as usual. Usually they're hustling! I know it was MLK Day and the drive-thru was around the building. Do they get priority? I always wondered about that. Ordered a Cannon Ball. Got this monstrosity. Didn't notice until home as it was among other drinks. After waiting so long was not about to go back and wait again and drive the 20 minutes round trip. Thought I'd try whatever this is and I had to spit it out. Contacted customer service on Facebook but couldn't help me saying they needed the rewards email used. Ordered as a guest and am not a rewards member. Was told couldn't have ordered if I wasn't. Yet I somehow did. Couldn't be helped. Train your employees better! read more

This location is EXTREMELY busy. Keep in mind, this location is right off the 347 heading north, so everyone going into Phoenix is going to stop here on their commute. Came in about 10 am because the drive through queue was too long. People filled the entire store, and there's no space to move around. Table and chair space is very cramped, so you'll probably be standing awhile and trying not to bump into people. I brought in my own cup, and they forgot to add a sticker, so my order was accidentally forgotten. Not a big deal because they did ask me to confirm my order and brought it out while apologizing profusely. I'm not mad; there were at least thirty orders on the digital screen at any given time and the baristas worked extremely hard to push out drink after drink fit so many customers. Personally, I'll probably stick to the Starbucks in the grocery store. It's not as busy or likely to induce a panic attack. I was in there for about thirty minutes as orders after mine came and went. Worst Starbucks experience yet. The employee working today was incredibly rude and dismissive for absolutely no reason. On top of that, the wait time was ridiculously long, and this is NOT the first time this has happened at this location.Whats the point of ordering ahead of time if you still have to wait 45 minutes for a drink! NEVER order ahead and pickup in the drive thru!!! Customers shouldn't have to deal with bad attitudes and consistently poor service just to get a coffee. And god forbid they should ever say, good morning or welcome. The service is so-so at best, and the coffee, the main reason I come to any Starbucks, is fair to midland. I was here just yesterday, and they didn't even have a wooden stir to mix in your cream. I've never been to any of hundreds of Starbucks and not found a wooden stir-stick available. When I asked for "a stir," the counter girl looked at me as if I was speaking in a foreign tongue? Came through the DT last night 01/22/2025. There was several other girls working that i could see through the window but only one took my order, paid me out, made my order and handed it out to me . I felt bad because I ordered 5 drinks first me and my kids and this poor girl was racing around and apologizing profusely for taking so long. Several other girls in aprons were standing around laughing and talking. There is no reason one girl should be doing several jobs at one time unless she is the only person working that shift, which should never happen. The worst Starbucks I've ever been to. Easily. Orders are often wrong or they are out of menu items. Order ahead not available half the time. Drive through closed the other half, and even walk in closed mid-morning sometimes. Wait time is a joke, even if you order ahead, it's almost always several more minutes than the promised time. I had a pretty positive experience, no mistakes were made on my order and the ladies were nice! The music choice was really good too! The only slight downside is the workers would get chatty and start laughing, which I don't typically mind, but it would often get obnoxiously loud. The problem here is down to poor management. It shouldn't take 20 minutes to get your coffee, nor should part of your order sit on the counter while you wait for the rest. Speaking of ordering, ask for the last initial of a person's last name. There were 3 people with my wife's name when we ordered. It gets confusing.
