So…read moreafter I get my hair done, I hit up Roadrunner Coffee to get a drink however, on this last occasion, I found myself with a little bit of extra time and decided to get lunch and a drink before my appointment. I'm not certain about all locations, but this location in particular has a large dining area. The location near me on Alvernon Way doesn't have any inside dining area and it's just drive-through customers only. A few months ago I went to the drive-through and got the AZclub sandwich and a drink. It was the best Club sandwich I remember ever having. I've yet to go inside the restaurant and I've only taken advantage of the drive-through. The staff have been friendly and answered any questions that I had and made the food how I liked it. I have every intention of returning next time, I have a hair appointment. Just this week I got the drink called the Oasis which has watermelon and some other flavors in it and is a light effervescent drink. I don't remember all the ingredients. All I know is I loved it.

The coffee, both hot and cold brew, was delicious. You can often tell when coffee is mass produced versus being roasted locally and this was definitely fresh! The owner was at the booth; he was incredibly friendly and informative. He is even doing little "classes" about this passion at a local coffee shop coming up on Saturday's the next few weeks. This is a mobile pick up order and not brick and mortar location the neighborhood is easy to find and there is enough room for parking spaces outside while you wait for your coffee. Now I wasnt upset, didn't send it back, I just told them what I experienced and mused that I found it odd the cook forgot a simple thing like salt. The manager acknowledged my complaint and that was all; or at least I was fine. Nope, she came back with a to-go box of croissants topped with cream and berries as an apology. They were tremendous by the way. She didn't have to do that. The ambiance is it's only weak point, but even that is minor. Simple black is fine. It's modern feeling and doesn't stand out loudly. They have outdoor seating, which early in the morning is fine, but id avoid in the summer, which will likely mean you'll be waiting, depending on the time. Oh! I forgot to mention, they have very good drinks. They really are intentional about the blend of flavors, they have a little something for everyone. All in all, I cannot recommend this place enough. It's been a shining star amongst Tucson restaurants and I am grateful they exist. Even to how they organize their menu partly by flavor profiles shows they genuinely LOVE food. Oh and they offer a few skillet options too-southwest, loaded baked potato, and sausage and peppers skillet. So many options!! I can't speak too much for lunch but I did see burgers on the menu. Not too helpful in that arena sorry. The eggs Benedict with ham was awesome. Side of potatoes with a bit of all seasoning and a side salad with awesome light dressing comes with it. The dutch baby was also great. A german pancake served savory with sausage. Huge portion. A day later I had to stop in to grab another one. The shake comes with a shot of aloe and a tea as well, and for only $8 bucks! The atmosphere was casual and had several customers who look like regulars. They were sitting at tables chatting together. The female staff member who helped me was very knowledgeable and friendly. She helped me make a selection since I hadn't visited the location before. I chose the oatmeal cookie smoothie which was delicious (sweetened with dates). Because I was a new customer, she kindly offered to let me try an aloe drink, a tea sample and my smoothie....complimentary as a new customer. That was very kind. It's located in a huge parking lot that was easy. It was pretty empty when we came in at around 11am on a Monday. There's a drive thru but we ordered in store. I got the Mystery Dirty Pop, which was essentially a dirty soda with Olipop or Poppi and it was really good!
