We just discovered Focus on Nutrition and we are so glad we did! For being a new customer Miguel let me try the Oatmeal Cookie shake on the house. That thing is delicious. A day later I had to stop in to grab another one. The shake comes with a shot of aloe and a tea as well, and for only $8 bucks! I stopped in this nutrition store on the way into Tucson. I was looking for a healthy smoothie option and found this place on yelp. The atmosphere was casual and had several customers who look like regulars. They were sitting at tables chatting together. The female staff member who helped me was very knowledgeable and friendly. She helped me make a selection since I hadn't visited the location before. I chose the oatmeal cookie smoothie which was delicious (sweetened with dates). Because I was a new customer, she kindly offered to let me try an aloe drink, a tea sample and my smoothie....complimentary as a new customer. That was very kind. Don't sleep on this place. I tried mango water which was soo refreshing. The lemon tea was good but I the peach tea is refreshing as well. My favorite smoothie so far is the white chocolate Reese. So flavorful and filling. I didn't love the Oreo smoothie. For me it wasn't flavorful enough. I can't wait to come back to try the brownie batter smoothie. Service is always quick and kind. Wish I would have found this place sooner! I stopped in and ordered a protein shake for myself and a tea for my wife, I added on an "aloe water shot" just to try it out. The flavors were on point and both my wife and I were happy with our choices. I told my buddy about this place and we returned the next day. These smoothies were truly bad - we had to throw them out. I guess I've never had Herbalife stuff, but I assumed this was a smoothie place with blended fruits, veggies, etc. It's all fake powdery stuff - odd for a place named "Focus on Nutrition." My daughter said hers tasted like play-doh, so I took a sip and sure enough, that's what it tasted like. Looking back, I should have known when I asked which smoothies had veggies and the lady said, "None of them." SO WEIRD. Cant tell what it is or if its open from the outside. I walked by this place a hundred times with my gf and we always wondered what it was. Cant tell what the prices are. Theyre on a piece on paper near the bar on the wall. Turns out its 7 dollars for a health smoothie, a cup of tea, and a health shot. There was also a dog wandering around the shop. Owner is so nice! This place offers meal replacement shakes with quite an extensive selection of flavors. I couldn't finish mine I was so full. First timers get complimentary shake and tea which was a pleasant surprise. Bf loved his turtle cheesecake smoothie and my mocha caramel was good. This was my second trip to FON. It's perfect for when you are looking for a healthy alternative at lunch. I have had the Chunky Monkey and Dreamsicle. I recommend both. For $6.50 you get a decent sized shake, a sample of aloe water and a cup of tea - I recommend the peach. Very clean place and friendly service. I also love the dog who greets me when I walk in.
