Red chili ( $6) fry bread
    Stephanie C.

Delicious! I am always looking for a authentic fry bread stand . I am Native American but I do live in Marana . Unfortunately, I haven't learned to make this delicacy due to my late father passing without passing on his recipe. This Hands down is one of the best fried bread I have ever had. The dough is lightly fried there is no heavy dense texture To the bread. Light fluffy but able to hold on to the hardiness of the red chili. The red chili was marinated and well seasoned. Tasting it took me back to being in New Mexico eating red chili with my family. To have a sensation where you can recall an emotion while eating food it's a very amazing feeling. I am so glad I found Mona's fry bread . The coolest part was letting my husband taste something I grew up with he's a fan of the powdered sugar and honey combination. We will be back again very very soon!

This fry bread is delicious, way better than I've had at any fair. You order at the stand and then they ask you to wait in your car and bring it out to you when its ready. I have only had the combo fry bread, like a Navajo taco. But I can't wait to try one with honey and powdered sugar next time.

So delicious! This fry bread is the real deal. Not greasy and the perfect size portion.

Great fry bread! Fair prices. Only complaint is that I never know when she's going to be there.

The food is always excellent and the portions are usually enough for two meals. We usually go with the carryout and the orders are always ready on time and stay hot for the ride home and dinner. The only suggestion I have is that the egg rolls that come with the combination meals aren't good, in my opinion.

It's a small, clean restaurant with about 9 tables, and the service is impressively fast. The owner, Andy, is hands-on and personally makes sure everyone is enjoying their meal, which adds a great local feel. The Food * Street Dumplings (Fried): We started with these as an appetizer--absolutely delicious! * House Special Chow Mein: My husband really enjoyed this; it was flavorful , good for two and well-prepared * Vermicelli Salad with Chicken: refreshing and colorful dish that balances warm, savory grilled chicken with cold rice vermicelli noodles, crisp raw vegetables, and a zesty, light dressing. Atmosphere & Service Even though it's a smaller space, it's very popular. I noticed a constant stream of "to-go" orders and delivery drivers picking up, which is always a good sign that the locals love it. We will definitely be back the next time we're in town. Highly recommended!

We went around 4pm and they were already pretty busy, but we were able to get a table right away. The service was quick and friendly -- I especially liked that multiple people stopped by to check on us throughout the meal. Chips and salsa came out immediately, which is always a great start. I also loved the fun, upscale container the chips were served in -- such a nice touch. For food, we ordered the chicken chimi with a side of rice and the lighter fare plate with a chile relleno and chicken enchilada. We also took advantage of happy hour and ordered two house margaritas for $8 each. Everything was fabulous. The chimi was huge -- honestly it ended up being two meals because it was so big and filling! The red sauce on both the chimi and enchilada was especially good, with a nice smoky flavor. The chile relleno was also very tasty. We'll definitely be back. The only thing we'd love to see is a few more options on the happy hour food menu -- that's usually how we like to try new dishes! Great food, great service, and a fun atmosphere!

Once we were seated and had gone through 1/2 basket of chips the lady with the salsa cart came by. Easily THE BEST salsa we've had at any restaurant. She worked magic with her bowl & pestle. Full of flavor with just the right kick at the backend. Would go back, solely for the salsa! I ordered the chicken nachos. At first glance, thought the portion was a bit small, but I ate it for 20 minutes & it looked like I hadn't touched it! Soooo much shredded chicken, cheese and jalapeños. Yummy! Grandson ordered the chile Colorado and his plate was wiped clean with his flour tortilla - every bite gone! Husband ordered a dish with super tender beef and a nice sauce and corn tortillas. He loved it, but can't remember the name ..... :) Also ordered a couple of micheladas that were very tasty. So, except for the hostess & the fact that we would have liked the salsa a little earlier- will definitely be back when in the area

The manager at this location is so welcoming! He is always there at lunchtime with free cookies for all who walk in the door. The chocolate chip cookies that he hands out (and that also come with your sandwich) are freshly made daily. They are wonderful! My go-to sandwich is the tuna sandwich. I typically get it on a sub roll, served with a side of the honey mustard for dipping. The honey mustard costs a bit extra, but it's so delicious! Some of my other go-to favorites are the cinnamon spiced iced tea (they also have regular unsweetened iced tea for those that do not like the cinnamon spice) and the brownie. It came with a cookie, not really wanting a cookie, so, not sure what part of the $15 that was for. The sourdough was a smallish loaf slice, the filling (chicken bacon tarragon) was skimpy & there was almost no avocado in sight. My pictures tell the story of what felt like not a good value. Won't be coming back as this is my 3rd or 4th visit over the years and the value proposition keeps getting worse. Either make your sandwich larger, or your price smaller. I was on the phone with my daughter who lives in trendy part of NYC & when she heard was I ordered and saw the pic, she was shocked (not in a good way). Not sure why every business thinks their food is worthy of $20 lunch per person when I can go to other restaurants within a stone's throw & not leave hungry for the same or less. Service: 2 stars. You stand in line, they call your name when it's ready. Ambiance: 3 stars. It's okay. Clean & tidy. Food: If I'm being generous, 3 stars. Value: 2 stars TLDR: Arizona small chain with kinda high prices for what you get. Not awful, just not worth it.
