I remember they had this whole thing where they didn't abide by Covid restrictions (thought maybe they changed). I got a simple iced coffee and it wasn't good at all. I saw two familiar faces that I recognized I went to church with when I would go. They weren't the nicest people at all to me (I was in highschool) so I remember leaving partly because of them. I meant to post this in February.

When I inquired about the pricing, since it was around $6 on the menu, it turns out I was nickel and dimed for anything I changed in the drink. For example, I can't do dairy, so I order almond milk and I had to pay extra. I'm then asked if I want syrup, and I say sure, and then I'm charged extra. That was the nature of the entire experience. I felt like I was drinking coffee a la carte. I know small businesses need to stay afloat, and I know they need to charge because they have a lot of overhead, but it was definitely sticker shock this morning.

Something about that just was not for me. Not that the gelato isn't good--it's delicious--but I don't necessarily want that in my coffee. Service was quick and the vibe is cool, but only limited outdoor seating. I will definitely come back. An employee at Lush actually recommended their shaken brown sugar espresso, so maybe I'll try that next time. Their lemonades also sound really good. Glad to have this as an option at La Encantada!

For some reason, I think it's the building builder sign that is larger. Anyway, they have a small menu, and not much for those who aren't big coffee drinkers. Also very limited on food.. maybe a few pastries. There were small tables, and a couch seating. But this place has fans clearly, because it was pretty consistent with customers. I got a chai drink that I flavored with lavender I think it was (or maybe it was pistachio, I can't remember). Either way it was light, and good. The building gave modern and European or something, I don't know. It was cool for a remote work.
