The lady taking my order seemed annoyed that I was there. She never smiled and was very short with me. The guy who handed us our coffees shoved them in our hands, and THREW the cookies on the counter. It took 20 minutes to get our order, but we weren't upset about it or anything, but the two employees were so rude that I felt compelled to write this review (which I hardly ever do!) Ordered a medium roast and egg bites! I ordered thru the app and walked inside. Coffee was ready immediately and egg bites came out shortly. The drive thru was wrapped around the building. The coffee was not hot but the egg bites were yummy. As i sat waiting for my order I had a chance to look around. Floors were dirty, counters were dirty, and tables a mess. I am giving it a 3 because the cleaness over all was horriable. Made me think twice about wanting to eat something from there. No one ever acknowledged me but i was just picking up a mobile order. I came here to study for a board exam... The staff is prob the worst obnoxious staff I have ever seen in a coffee place. The customer service was nice but the drinks were HORRIBLE! We took the first order back and the lady was very sweet and explained that staff were in training. Another customer came back with her drink as well and stated that it didn't taste good. They were nice and fixed another set of drinks for us but they too were literally milk and no coffee. At this point we decided to take it as a loss and went over to Walgreens and bought bottled coffee. Until they get through training and ensure that the baristas know how to mix drinks they should look at closing to complete mass training. They currently close early, not sure if this is due to new staff or lack thereof. Please get some baristas that know how to make the drinks. read more

I walk into Starbucks to order my normal coffee and a muffin since it was morning still and my fiancé asks for a refresher. Their out all the ones he wanted and only had one flavor, which he didn't want. And when she was ringing me up she realized there were no muffins. And on top of that I waited 25 minutes for 1 coffee. They took mobile offers and drive through order before customer that orders inside. I finally walked up to someone to get their attention and had to tell them I need my coffee now or I'm leaving since their about to make me late. Starbucks coffee just isn't good. As a barista, I know that the level of production and manufacturing that Starbucks employs is terrible for coffee taste. I hear from people that espresso is "bitter". And for that, we can blame Starbucks. There is so much more to the coffee bean besides "bitter"!! Also, this location is one of the worst ones among the entire Starbucks chain. The barista's do not understand coffee. It's very important that one understands the level of foam necessary for the varying types of espresso drinks. Also, you can't have a macchiato "iced", nor can you have a "cappuccino" iced. I ordered a grill cheese sandwich that was pretty good at first, but when I got to the center, the cheese was cold and clumpy. Now, that's not even the bad part. When I arrived to the windows w, the manager had an entourage of workers standing around as if I was a threat to my he company. I attempted to hand the item to the window attendant, she immediately stepped back while the manager stepped up. The manager asked, what was the problem." I showed her the clumpy cheese and she immediately agreed, while the 5 party entourage watched. Feeling completely uncomfortable with the entire situation, I called back to speak with the manager in regards to the situation. She stated that they were standing around to see what the commotion was about. Now, I'm completely baffled. What commotion??? I only stated that I wanted a refund for a partially eaten, cold, clumpy cheese sandwich. She wanted to offer something free to me. I do not want ANYTHING free. Did notice one employee that looked like a manager just roaming around while the other 3 were working hard. Prep area was a mess and they were out of basic ingredients including mocha. Most of the SB in JXN area are TERRIBLE. I'm a former SB barista and I appreciate that this staff had a good understanding of customer service. Getting coffee is something that makes me happy & nothing is worse than someone being rude to you as you're ordering. Paid 4.55$ for two sips of a drink That was mostly froth. When I returned to ask for the drink to be remade, the clerk told me that the manger would not allow them to remake the drink. The manager caught an attitude and rolled her eyes when I asked why she couldn't remake a drink that was mostly ice and froth. Called ahead to order 3 boxes of coffee, when I got there it was not ready., Was busy, Manager came apologized ,I said no problem . Also noted upper level visiting manager present. Person at counter continued to take other peoples order while my 3 boxes lay flat on the counter and the managers in the corner talking to each other, this went on for some time . The Counter person stopped filled one coffee box then served 3-4 more people while I eyed the mangers in the corner .. The Managers could have,should have poured the coffee in the box was a easy task. Also they did not label the 3 different coffees that were ordered. The day before I went to cups did the same thing . I went back b/c I knew it was a new location and was hoping it would get better. It did slightly. Went thru drive thru this time and they were out of the type of coffee I asked for last time. ‍ Well they were patient with my questions b/c Im no coffee expert..dont know all the different types. So their patience was appreciated. Coffee tasted better this time. I did have to wonder though if they knew the difference btw "heavy cream" & "heavy whipping cream". Because when the order was read back to me they got them mixed up. They should know that much. For that reason, I can't give them an "A-ok". Hope they continue to improve. read more

I'm beyond irritated with my experience tonight at the Madison, MS Starbucks. I had it planned ALL day to go there tonight for my online class. It was from 4-5:30. I had this planned out because I had a doctors appointment near by and I know that coffee shops have been my "go to" study location lately. I don't just go in there to use WiFi and not buy anything. I always buy a coffee and a snack, so a good 10-15$ is spent to be there. I am 5 months pregnant and I carried my extremely heavy back pack and purse inside- got situated, unpacked, got my computer plugged in and my binder situated. I had 15 minutes to spare before class, I ordered a coffee and sat down. All to find out the internet doesn't work.. meaning I had to load everything up, and go to another coffee shop. I was late for my class and rushed in and out. It was beyond frustrating for me. I went there specifically for the internet and a study "setting." And was just really let down. If you're going to be a coffee shop, you need to have working internet for your paying customers. or a sign at the door to let people know when it's not working. read more
