Very bad service and I come to Starbucks daily and will never be back after what I experienced! Clean place with indoor and outdoor seating. I am used to Starbucks in LA and NY, who have a huge selection of merchandise and food, so this was a little of a shock to see so few bags of beans and small pastry case. They did have a couple bags of several varieties, I hope they are fresh. All the employees were very nice and efficient. They can definitely take care of your caffeine fix! read more

I just visited the Starbucks in Ridgeland, MS at Renaissance Shopping Center and for the second or third time had a terrible experience. After sitting in line for 15 minutes and watching the car in front on me keep having exchanges back and forth through the window before finally pulling away 3 or 4 minutes later, it was my turn at the window. I handed my phone out to be scanned off my Starbucks app as the outer bands of the tropical storm provided me with rain into my truck. I was then handed a product that looked nothing like what I order almost every time from Starbucks. I asked what he was giving me and was given some bewildering answer from both the person at the window and management. I told them to keep their drink and drove away, wiping the rain from the interior of my car. I called 800-782-7282, the Starbucks customer service line and they refunded my money back to me. If you deal with this Starbucks very often, you will need to save that number in your phone. There are good Starbucks locations in Clinton and Madison. If you need a Starbucks fix then I would recommend one of them over this frustrating location. read more

Service: I attempted to purchase coffee from this location several times during my recent visit to Jackson. Both times I ordered at the drive-through. Each time I had to go inside because my order was not correct. The first time the attendant gave the drinks out to the wrong cars. On the second visit after repeating my order multiple times my order still was not typed in the system correctly therefore my order was incorrect. Both times the staff was rude and didn't apologize for their mistake. read more

I waited in the drive through line for at least 30 minutes. When I got to the speaker to place my order, nobody answered for 2 minutes, even though cars continued to move forward in the line to pick up their orders. I assumed that the speaker wasn't working, so I just drove ahead. When I got to the window to place my order, the cashier indifferently told me "You're not allowed to place orders at the window so you'll have to drive back around and get in line again," and then she turned around and stared talking to another employee. Absolutely no concern for what I had just said (that I thought the speaker was broken), and clearly oblivious to how glacially slow their service was. Why would I wait another 30 minutes for an iced coffee that should take them all of 30 seconds to make? This was a complete diaster and a waste of my time. They could give away free coffee and I wouldn't come back to this branch. Oh, and from what I could tell, when the woman in the car in front of me got to the window, she had to tell them 3 different times that her order was wrong, and finally she just gave up and drove off without ever getting her order. So clearly this wasn't just me having a hard time with them, this was consistently bad customer service. read more

This particular Starbucks is the bottom of the barrel. I have gone back several times, giving multiple chances to no avail. It's incredible slow and the customer service is severely lacking. I have even watched them make my drink incorrectly and swear to me something was not in it after I WATCHED them add the ingredient. I very much hope management steps up to correct the problems. This is my Go To Starbucks since they usually make my drinks right. I came in today at 5pm Friday April 7th. This time I asked for venti caramel frap, non fat milk and a tad less sweeten as usual. They didn't even put one pump of sweetener. I came back and asked for it to be remade. The girl making my drink argued with me that she put 3 pumps of sweetener, no there was NONE. Not even one pump. Now that didn't upset me, but the fact that she sighed, tried to tell me there's 3 pumps, which I can tell not even one pump was added...she made it with an attitude. She was going to use whole milk, which I caught and she didn't apologize or say another word. Just quickly made my drink and ignored me pretty much. The workers are just always rude. Since I go to school nearby, I like to get work done in between my classes but lately I haven't been able to because the workers are constantly screaming and laughing with each other. I have actually given this Starbucks location many chances and it's time to rate. It doesn't matter how many times I have visited this location, every single time I get coffee here they are bound to screw up an order. I either get the tall or grande flat white and my wife gets the Grande iced vanilla latte. Not that hard. The staff working is always in complete disarray, unorganized and unskilled as baristas. Just a little background info--even though I live in Nola, I've spent a good bit of this summer visiting my parents in Madison. I'm used to having a SB on literally every street corner, so naturally, this has become my go-to location in what I'd call a coffee dessert! Yes, I know there are local shops but I like SB. And so do you. So deal with it. Anyways, let me address the cons real quick. To all those of you who have turned to me and whispered "Gosh, they must be short handed today", because we've both been waiting a really long time for our liquid fuel, I'm sorry that I haven't given a more empathetic response. You see, I don't have any real sense of urgency given that I'm on summer break. I don't mind the wait, and usually sit at the bar and watch the baristas make magic happen. I understand needing to get to work/practice/whatever other obligation you may have on time so my advice: choose inside service on a leisure day, stick to drive-thru otherwise, and pass on mobile ordering. Pros! The baristas work super hard ya'll. I must commend them on sensing when a patron is particularly upset and always offering a genuine apology. They know their regulars by name and order. They recently hired a new manager who I've seen work alongside his staff to keep the line moving. Before him, there was another young lady who I thought did an excellent job at managing this location. This was going to be a 5-star review because for me, the pros outweigh the cons, but unfortunately, today was another occurrence of my drive-thru order being almost correct--the barista missed the classic syrup. And I've been handed a hot drink one or two times before when I ordered (or thought I ordered..I'll share the blame!) it iced. This could've still been a 5 star review despite the errors but unfortunately, not all of the staff lives up to that "barista promise" that says they'll fix it without hating you forever.
