Came here for a Pistachio Latte, my new obsession and to read a book, my new hobby. Sadly, they were out of pistachio syrup. Very helpful barista and quick service. The sausage, egg and cheese breakfast muffin was good and warm. Settled for a latte. Lots of seating though only the back wall has cushioned seats. Liked the community vibes as regulars came in and chatted with employees. And there's customer parking! Entrance on Purdue. Like the whole store, the gender neutral bathroom is well-maintained, and by the front entrance. The sink's in its separate designated space from the toilet. read more

We were participating in the cicLAvia bicycle event that had the street in front of this coffee house closed. It was time for our late afternoon caffeine fix so we ordered a Venti iced mocha with half the chocolate. The drink came out perfect without it being overly sweetened. read more

It's fine it's still a Starbucks. No outlets yo. Indoor seating is spacious. No patio. It's been a good six seven months since I got Starbucks on purpose but this was the coffee shop closest to the civic center where I need to be in an hour so. Looks like they got some new pastries. I was driving all morning since 8 AM so I stopped here at 1 PM to grab a bite to eat and use the bathroom but since I had been on the road all morning I just wanted to use the bathroom first. The girl at the counter was physically annoyed when I asked for the bathroom code. I thought we were done with this Starbucks? She asked me if I purchased anything even though she just watched me walk in the door. So I just told her I was gonna do it after I use the restroom cause I've been on the road all day she relented and gave me the code. After the restroom, I ordered a wrap and a coffee, I tipped. I'm used to my wrap coming out of the oven hot and kind of crispy, but it was soggy and my coffee doesn't taste sweetened at all. I don't go to Starbucks much anymore and I guess this is why. For four days, November 2nd-November 5th 2024, I was an Election Worker at the Vote Center in the Felicia Mahood Multipurpose Center across the street from this Starbucks. Came here every day on my meal break and had a pastry and a Venti Chai Latte. Everyone working at this Starbucks was very nice. On Election Day when we all worked from 6:00am to 10:45pm I had two Venti Chai Lattes when I came here on my break. On November 2nd the lady who helped me said she wasn't registered to vote since she had recently moved to Los Angeles. I told her she could register and vote on the same day, so after she got off work she came to the Vote Center, registered, and voted. All the other customers I spoke with here during my break were also very nice. Had many enjoyable conversations with them. Still have not been able to solve the mystery of why was was called a Tazo Chai Latte fifteen years ago is now called a Chai Latte. Where did Tazo go? read more

The staff here is less friendly than you'd find at any other Starbucks. Very snarly when anyone not white asks for the bathroom code.

August 7, 2023: While waiting on an Elite Yelp pizza order just a few steps away at The Colony, my friend & I walked over to this Starbucks for a refreshing drink, as it's a hot one outside! Friendly customer service, very clean space, great art on the wall, plenty of seating & loved my Iced Chai Tea Latte, alongside my lemon loaf! Yum! read more

Another Starbucks popped up in the neighborhood whichi mean do we need a Starbucks on another corner but honestly, we do. There isn't a Starbucks in the area other than in the Target severely blocks down but those never feel the same. You have your mom and pop coffee shops here but Starbucks is just reliable no nonsense coffee. The place is nice and open and staff have been great the few times I've been. Parking available in the lot but also if you get lucky, there might be metered parking out front. The coffee has been good. And they've always been quick with my order so for convenience, happy they added yet another Starbucks! read more

I like this one! I know, the last thing we need is another Starbucks, right? However, this one from personal experience seems to be off to a great start, and being rarely optimistic, I hope it remains that way. Also, it's much closer than the other one I was going to which bumps it up even more. When I saw the 'Open' sign posted up, I decided to make my first visit here on an early Saturday morning. I was greeted right away by the guy at the register who let me know they've only been open a few days. They were still so new at this time, so I couldn't place the order on the app since it wasn't up and running yet for this location. It was also still pretty empty within the space itself; there wasn't any seating or tables set up. A (free) parking lot is located on Purdue, and you can enter Starbucks via one of the door within the garage instead of walking back out on the street to enter the front door, unless you want to do so. I returned for the 2nd time Wednesday (after placing my order on my app) and it was ready at the pickup area. People working seemed friendly, and I'm looking forward to making this a usual stop in my early mornings when I feel I actually need coffee. read more

I visit this Starbucks multiple times a week. This week it's been all tea because I have a cold. I ALWAYS order on the app in advance. I'm always in & out. They even offer convenient parking indoors. Today I walk in look for my items only my oatmeal is ready. Cool, I'll wait for my tea. It's just tea I'm having. I probably stood there close to 10 minutes. The store is now full. When I walked in there were three customers. So a couple tea bags in a cup of hot water takes 15 minutes, when my oatmeal, same concept, hot water added to the oats cup only took 2-3 minutes?! Yes, Renee (the barista) probably had way more drinks to prepare than the gentleman preparing hot food, but Renee went out of her way to make me wait. Pour the water Renee!! Cancel my order!! I have to get to work. Thanks Renee, your nonchalant, unapologetic attitude at 6:00am is an awesome start to my Friday. :/ p.s. I should've prepared my tea & oatmeal at home. That's my bad, but I probably won't, but it won't be prepared at THIS Starbucks either. In the end, it's all about attitude. This is a customer service job. Be fair. read more

We pulled into this Starbucks right off the freeway as an emergency bathroom stop! The provided parking was amazing. And very easy to access. The guy working was super friendly and gave us the bathroom code right away. I had preordered a drink and it was ready when we arrived. After using the restroom the kids all wanted a treat and they thankfully had everything in stock even though we were there later in the day. This store was clean and pretty mellow. Would 10/10 recommend this location. read more
