Good luck getting any help with online orders such as a refund when Jamba Juice does not even fulfill your order!!!!! Would also NOT recommend using the Jamba Juice online app either as this business additionally charges a "service fee" just for placing an order via their app. On July 3, 2026, I placed breakfast order via the Jamba Juice app for mobile pickup. I arrived at the store only to find the Santa Monica store CLOSED and LOCKED on July 3, 2026 almost one hour after the store opening time. An employee name Arlene (or Arleen?) arrived a few minutes later and she was locked out as well and trying to phone someone but would take care of processing my refund. I waited one week and called store and was told by another employee that he would take care of processing a refund as I should have received a refund by now. I filed a complaint via Jamba Juice app on July 3, 2026 and Ethan Axtell emailed me on July 10, 2026 instructing me to call corporate 866-GO-JAMBA for refund of online order but corporate then told me that the Santa Monica store is franchised so this particular store has to process a refund. I left voicemail at store requesting that the Santa Monica store manager call me and I never got a call. I went today (July 18, 2026) to the store and spoke with manager Patrick Foti who said that I have to call corporate to process a refund especially for an online order because they don't have the ability to give refunds and he doesn't know why corporate would have told me to go to the store for a refund. Patrick (manager) said that corporate took away their ability to issue refunds to their customers. BEWARE of corporate and this Santa Monica store in particular if you expect any customer service as they will keep your money for food you never received and time wasted! Just horrible and unprofessional! I had the rudest meanest server there named Chris a couple of weeks ago that was obviously in a bad mood and he decided to take out his venom on me. I'm not going to go into the whole story but it was pretty horrible and I was shocked. After I paid for the drink I decided I didn't want the drink because he was so nasty and his energy was so negative that I didn't even want the vibes of that drink that he made. I complain to Patrick the manager and supposedly some other higher up managers came to talk to Chris this nasty person. And supposedly they gave him the instructions to give me a reimbursement on my credit card. Which never happened after a couple of weeks. Why give the very person that was so nasty to me the instructions to return my money? Of course that was never done. I tried to do it on my credit card but it was a bunch of bureaucratic bs. Exhausted I said to Patrick the manager if they can just give me a free smoothie that wouldn't actually be free because I didn't want to deal with chris. Fortunately Chris was not working and there was a really nice guy there. And he made me the smoothie. But I requested to Patrick that if Patrick the manager was not going to be there when I stopped by in a couple of hours if he could tell the worker that I would be getting a free smoothie to make up for the mishap. Patrick and ever did that so the nice worker I don't know what his name was, said that Patrick never mentioned anything. Why am I not surprised? And called him and fortunately reached him and was able to make me a nice smoothie. I'm never going back to this place. It's so horrible with how they never dealt with anything in a professional manner and actually wanted Chris to reimburse me through the system when he was the one that was so nasty to me. And of course he didn't. And then Patrick didn't even mention to the nice worker to make me a free smoothie as a reimbursement. They are always delivering good customer service, and smoothies/coffee is always consistent and good even when I make a mistake like forgetting to resetting location in the app. The store is also clean which is a big plus. I said ok and took the choice between the few left that had no strawberries. Mango-a-go-go and white gummi, they are a far cry from Caribbean passion and aloha pineapple. The next few people came in and also wanted some drinks with strawberries. It wasn't until the 3rd person asked for a drink with strawberries that she gave an option to substitute. Now I'm not a smoothierista, so I didn't think of asking for a substitute but certainly was disappointed that I could have had my other drink with the substitution fruit. * sigh * So, when paying she did tell me to sign up with the app to get buy one get one free. I've been coming here since childhood. So many good memories. Obviously prices have very much increased (it used to be $3 for a small), but so is everything nowadays and you still get that fresh smoothie scent when you walk through the door. Absolutely appalling - it's genuinely baffling how abysmal our experience was today. We came in around 3:50 pm on a Saturday; there were a few other people in the store. We placed a mobile order and the app told us it would be done by 4:08 pm. However, 4:08 rolled around and the one singular employee making all of the drinks told us it would be "a few more minutes." Spoiler alert: it absolutely was not. We finally got our drinks at about 4:30 pm - well over 40 minutes after entering the store. For just two drinks. Not only that, but the drinks were absolute lazy slop - they were the texture of soup. We spent $10 on each smoothie and they were worthless sewage. I was there couple weekends ago without seeing any of the reviews. I was hungry and wanted some juice and must say, they managed to meet all the 1star and 2 star reviewers expectations. They only had one person in store that time of the day who was half asleep and managed to barely walk made me a very bad juice. New location...I can't remember what was here before. In the same little plaza as CVS, Starbucks, Subway and San Sai, which means plenty of great parking. I placed an order for pickup through the app, which was easy and seamless. They have a little fridge up at the front to keep orders cold while waiting to be picked up. Staff was pleasant and location is clean. I arrived well before the pickup time but they made my smoothie right away. The reason for my "OK" review is that upon entering the store, I was smacked in the face, through my mask, by the wafting aroma of something having gone bad. Bad bananas maybe?
