I ordered a tote bag from Erewhon that arrived with visible bleach stains. When I contacted customer service to report the damage, I was told that what I was seeing was simply a 'natural variation in the canvas,' which was completely false and frankly insulting. Rather than acknowledging the defective item, they doubled down, insisted all sales were final, and made it clear they had no intention of helping me. After five attempts to get any form of resolution, I was essentially told I was stuck with a damaged product. It was only after I threatened to write a review that they offered an exchange, which I declined. At that point, a refund was the only acceptable resolution given the experience I had been put through. For a brand that charges premium prices and markets itself as a luxury experience, the customer service protocols and quality assurance are appalling. Being gaslit over an obvious defect on a $160 item is not the standard I expected from Erewhon. Buyer beware, if your order arrives damaged, don't expect them to take responsibility.

I think the server behind the hot bar realized it was my first time because I was looking around alot before I ordered and then he came around the bar to where I was to help me decide, that was so nice of him! 11/10 service I tried the hot food because I had to cross it off the bucket list but I didnt think it was anything crazy good. the food was good dont get me wrong. the only thing I'd come back for is the eggplant lasagna. the japanese sweet potatoes and the rice balls were good but I don't see me getting those again. glad I tried them though!

This place is amazing! Their sushi is restaurant quality and I am obsessed with their crispy sushi rice sandwich!! This really is a great spot to stop by after work for a casual bite. However, the strawberry glaze smoothie is sooo overrated and tastes like every strawberry smoothie ever for an insanely premium price. In general I would not recommend grocery shopping here it is way too expensive and very limited options. The staff is fast and efficient though, so no complaint there!

I got the water from Erewhon about $2 for this glass wattle. And it was the most clear water you will have in your life. To be honest this would pair well with anything heavy. It's hard to describe what I mean but I will never tell a lie on the water The brownies are good too the one but the register Yusuf is the best cashier as well He curated the best thing for me there Go there now

I'm a local, live 3 minutes away from it. I prefer to walk than to park my car in their valet parking as it gets congested during lunch and dinner hours. The staff is very welcoming except one lady there, she's not very nice to people of color and she's a woman of color. But she's nice to everyone else and I'm not the type to pay attention to that but I peeped that, as I'm a women of color. Some of the cashiers are not very nice. However, at the Hot Bar everyone is very hospitable. Prices are not bad if you really go in there in look they do have a lot of items on sell, especially different drink options if you want to try something new. I'm also a member and it's worth it. Free drink every month and discounts. Spinach dip is always a hit, carne asada with the chimichurri sauce, and the garlic glass noodles. Chefs kiss.

First time at any Erewhon, but I heard about the "viral" Hailey Bieber smoothie and the prices and selection, so of course I had to check it out. Honestly, seeing valet parking (and it was full) was kinda shocking. We just ended up parking at a neighboring area and walked over. It was pretty packed with people shopping for groceries or just buying lunch items--prepared foods and drinks and the smoothies. Their selection is top notch with it all being the best of the best with no questionable ingredients and trustworthy brands. It was a little hectic since there were a ton of people shopping at the same time, but still manageable. Bathrooms were limited to two genders neutral options, so we were waiting for a bit. Some of the aisles were super close together so you felt a bit sandwiched in between at times. I'm guessing this is to maximize space and fit in a lot of products to shop for. They had everything from single serve drinks, frozen and refrigerated items, dry food items, health and body items, and breads, other prepared foods and snacks, pizza and the hot bar, and the drinks. They even sell accessories with the Erewhon name (saw at the sales counter at front of store). Check out process was efficient and they do put stickers on your items to note that it was paid for. The huge line that we saw honestly moved super fast. There were two greeters/employees/theft prevention people at the front that checked for this. We ate outside in the enclosed patio. They had a nice sitting area with chairs and benches and since it was a nice day, was a great option to have. The pizza was pretty tasty and a decent size slice. Same with the green drink that I got. It's definitely worth it to shop here since I can trust the quality of what I'm getting and the taste was quite good.

Located near a busy area and buildings, this Erewhon is within a nice area! They have valet parking or street parking (for a fee). I love their outside seating and aesthetics. They had many workers at the time I went. I believe that their options are fairly priced for the most part. We went to the hot bar and the workers were kind and attentive! They truly have nice workers at this location and are efficient with their service. My favorite is their seared salmon! Definitely recommend coming here and spending time if you are able.

I was influenced to finally try the viral Hailey Bieber Strawberry Skin Glaze Smoothie. Unfortunately for me, I absolutely loved it. While it is expensive for what it is, it can be a fun once in a while treat. I also made some grocery purchases at this location and honestly their prices aren't bad on all items. Mind you, a lot of the items are overpriced, but some items are the same price as if I bought them at Whole Foods, Sprouts, or etc. Other items are a given to be more expensive due to their packaging and "clean" ingredients. I was impressed with their variety and I found a few items I've been looking for at other grocery stores for weeks. Their store is clean and the staff members are incredibly kind. I had multiple come up to me to offer suggestions and/or just asking if I need help. Fantastic customer service!

I love Erewhon because they have kelp noodles that are delicious. I always get the Korean short rib, kelp noodles , Carr and a chocolate oatmeal chocolate chip cookie. It's great because you can try the food before you make a decision! The kelp noodles are a little spicy curry and have perfect flavor. The beef ribs are mouthwatering and the carrots are roasted to perfection. The staff is very sweet and helpful! The outside seating is nice and sunny!

*This review is strictly for monthly special drinks* I've been disappointed with Erewhon's monthly drinks. The combinations often feel confusing and don't taste good-like this month's spicy bone broth hot chocolate, which just doesn't make sense. It seems like they're overcomplicating things, and the drinks end up being more about novelty than flavor. Additionally, it feels like this is a waste of the staff's energy and enthusiasm. When I ordered the monthly drink, the barista didn't seem excited and mentioned that the drink gets mixed reviews. I'd love to see simpler, more appealing recipes that genuinely encourage reorders. It's not about giving them away for free, just focusing on quality and taste.

This places lives up to the hype! The sushi is insanely fresh, pizzas varied and delish, clean and so much choice in every section!

I was pleasantly surprised to find out this is a whole food market too, not just a smoothie store! The place wasn't too crowded and everything looked so pretty all stocked up with fresh groceries. People were nice and the smoothie line wasn't that long. We got the haley bieber strawberry smoothie & mango something was so delicious holy moly I'm coming back.

and just like that....Erewhon is one of my fave grocery stores! The friendly door greeters are a very nice touch to start off your experience. The staff is so nice! Yes some items are pricey, but I'm ok with the up charge for higher quality and better selection. The hot food bar is delicious!! The salmon is so good and both mac and cheeses are delicious. We also tried the Hailey Bieber smoothie and bone broth. Both were great. The Hailey Bieber smoothie has great ingredients and still tastes so smooth. I've heard people complain about the price, but $20 is pretty on par with high quality smoothies I purchase from other places. This location has limited space overall....from the parking lot to the tiny eat in area by the tonic bar. You can make it work, but be prepared for a cozy and buzzy situation as you shop.

I've been shopping here for over two years, and this review is long overdue. My biggest complaint in the past was the lack of cell service due to the store being located in the basement. It was frustrating not being able to text or call my wife to check what we already had in the fridge, which often led to overbuying--though that's never really a problem at TJ's since everything is so delicious. The great news is that they now have Wi-Fi, which is a total game changer for this location! I'm a huge fan of their sheet cakes; I always pick one up to share with my co-workers. Trader Joe's consistently delivers quality products, and on the rare occasion I've had an item go bad before opening, the staff has been incredibly helpful and happy to exchange it. It's usually been an older crowd that's wanted whatever health products were popular 10-20 years ago. At one point during the late 90's and early 00's, it was tremendously popular with the celebrity class of LA, and it was Erewhon before there was Erewhon. It has since drifted into a more relaxed, slightly frumpier incarnation now in 2026. As you can see from all the 1 and 5 star reviews, it's a place that inspires both stubborn loyalty and intense frustration in equal measure, and I think that about sums up experience for the uninitiated. You'll see that I've split the difference with this 3 star review in an attempt to capture reality. This is far from a perfect grocery store -- the prices are high, a lot of the produce is not looking so good, the milk is always about to expire, the aisles are poorly organized, they're missing lots of things you want. But it's also a real co-op and not a chain, it's possible to eat healthfully from here, and they are extremely responsive to their member's (numerously and frequently delusional and extremely SaMo) requests. The angry reviews about bad service here are overblown; I've been here dozens of times and never had a problem. And as long as it's member-owned, it can always change for the better very quickly, which I've seen happen here before, and may happen again. Personally, my reason for not shopping here is just the poor organization of the store overall, selection of dry goods which are widely second-rate to me, and shabby, soon-to-be-expiring produce and perishables attached to a luxury price. I see no reason to shop here when I have the SaMo farmer's market AND better organized specialty stores like Erehwon or McCall's right near by -- which are, despite what numerous reviews here desperately proclaim, the exact same price point as Co-Opportunity. I hope this clears up why the reviews here are all-over-the-place, it's because the store is too!

The sandwiches are solid and very reasonably priced. Two things stand out for me here: their weekend barbecue and the tamales. Someone in their kitchen makes delicious Oaxacan tamales (which are not always available). These tamales are chock full of chicken mole -- perhaps the highest ratio of filling to masa that I've had -- and are neatly wrapped in banana leaves. The burritos are similarly pre-made and stuffed to the gills with the protein of the day. As for the weekend barbecue, every Saturday and Sunday morning they grill select meats from the deli (prime steaks, tri tip, chicken, etc) which you can buy throughout the day at the deli. The Farms also has fresh vegetables, premade salads and all the other items you'd expect from a neighborhood grocery store. Service is super friendly, and there's free parking in back. It's definitely a good spot for a meal to go.
