DO NOT GO HERE. Go to literally any other cold stone. The owner/guy that works there is rude, and doesn't know any of the products. I had to explain to him what two of the things on the menu were. I ordered the new ice cream taco and he gave me melted ice cream in a taco shell. The other locations will freeze it and dip it in chocolate so it stays frozen. Then my wife ordered and he wouldn't let her get toppings on the top. "They have to be mixed in" he insisted. Although every other location we've been to lets her get them on top. Then we tried to order the ice cream cupcakes and he just said "no those come in 6". And we said "yeah we'd like 6" and he just wouldn't sell them to us. We paid $30 for two scoops of ice cream and an ice cream taco. Pretty sure he up charged us, as many of the other reviews at this location said the same. read more

My favorite ice cream here is the Waffle Bowl. It taste FIRE. Lots of sweetness in the taste of a waffle. They have so many good flavors. They only charge you by the ounce or scoops of how much you want. Service was good here. I have no complaints. I love ice cream. read more

The service is very friendly and I'm not one to write reviews often but I've been to this location twice and both times I've been here, I've found hair inside of my ice cream. Yes it's a bit pricey, but we keep going back to Coldstone's every once in a while. I think Coldstone's has a special place in the hearts of many Americans in my particular generation. I honestly wouldn't do Coldstone's if it was just me because I never went to one when I was younger, but my husband has occasional cravings for their ice cream and that's when we google where the closest location is. I prefer this location over the other one on Pico because this one has a parking lot (I kind of have an aversion to street parking). The nice server suggested we keep the cone cup separate from the ice cream and we appreciated that thought. The experience isn't the same now that there are COVID-19 regulations put in place, but the ice cream made it home just fine and we enjoyed it. Worst location! I got a medium sized ice cream with ONE topping. I asked for more of the SAME topping and the worker adds it without saying anything. Well I get to the register and there are two extra charges. I ask why I have extra charges and the worker said because I asked for more. Okay well why didn't the worker explain that to me before? I've never been to this location and other locations have never added any extra fees. I explained to her that I didn't know there would be extras fees but the worker didn't care. I understand that may be company policy and I'm not upset about that. I'm upset about that lack of customer service and communication!!!! The worker should have told she would charge me extra fees if I asked for more of the same topping. I was craving a cold sweet desert around lunch time 12:30pm so I yelp the nearest ice cream shop and this was the closet to my job. There was an old guy (possibly the owner, see picture below) who basically told me to get the F out after he made me the wrong order. I asked if he can please make me "cake batter ice cream with recess cups, like it size" (the smallest) [super simple order] but instead he made me double the portion and a complete different order, this thing was colossal , it had fudge dripping down a volcanic mountain of brownies and sprinkles on top, with ice cream!! I told him "that's not what I order sir, I'm not going to pay extra" he then yelled at me saying " WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO WITH THIS ICE CREAM!? THROW AWAY! NO, YOU PAY!" I told him "no need to yell that's very disrespectful, I am not going to pay for something I didn't ask for, that's on you for messing up my order, I'm a customer" he then said " YOU DON'T DESERVE MY SERVICE!! Warning: Do not let them ring you up before they make your ice cream. Old middle eastern man behind the counter got uptight as he could not understand my order. Then I could not have a taste of anything he claimed because of Covid. He deceptively said we can do any size you want and I pointed to the extra small size. Then I was flabbergasted when he tried to charge me $12. I even commented that an extra small couldn't cost that much. He rung me up before making the ice cream. At that point he puts the oreo ice cream, that was already premade, giving me a scoop with the least amount of Oreo in a medium sized looking cup. Not to mention he chopped up Rainbow sprinkles instead of Oreo cookies and mixed them in. I thought the sprinkles went on the top at the end. He then began to argue with me about what size I wanted and told me I was being recorded. I said that's great because I didn't order that size. I said I wanted the smallest one. He then proceeded to tell me I would not get my money back and I would have to have the bigger size. Apparently the other reviews also have noted that this man seems a little grumpy which is an understatement. He did finally give me my money back and I didn't take the ice cream. He told me never to come back and I don't understand why he felt it necessary to say that because why would I want to come back and be treated like that. It sounds like this place is going out of business. I did sense the owner was really angry from the beginning as he was making waffle cones. So I recently had a 30th birthday and decided to treat myself to a cake. I also decided to torture myself and come back to this coldstones. Upon arrival, I was greeted by this sweet girl; she's young, cute, with black hair. I wish that I remembered her name, but I remember that she was a virgo like me. Anyway, I placed my order with her and confirmed everything, I was so excited... until the day I picked up my order. I requested that my bday cake said "Happy 30th birthday Beautiful", instead it said "Happy Beautiful 30th Birthday". Whatever, I couldn't get the words fixed, big whoop... my issue is mainly the writing, it's horrible! Wow, this Cold Stone location is so amazing! I can't say enough good things about the service here. The employees are super friendly, especially the one guy who I believe is the owner. He is always happy to give you as many samples as you want, and it is clear that he loves his job. On top of all that, this location sometimes does special promotions. I've been to a few different Cold Stone locations across Southern California, and this one gives the largest portions. I usually get a "Love It" size, and they almost always overfill it with ice cream, which I absolutely love! My go to flavor is the cake batter ice cream with chocolate shavings. This is my favorite ice cream anywhere. Period. It is seriously so creamy, and it tastes superb. In general, most of their other flavors are also quite good, including the pistachio, sweet cream, and cookies and cream. I love this location. Both the ice cream and employees are great. read more
