Brisa is the kindest, most helpful barista I've encountered! Definitely 10/10 service here!

Been a go to Peet's for many years. Easy parking, fast service and well prepared espresso beverages. Not much outside seating.

Solid iced vanilla latte. I ordered it for pickup for the first time ever in my life so I didn't interact with the baristas much but I can tell they genuinely care about their clients and remember regulars which is really sweet. However, I do have a bone to pick with the location, specifically the lot it's in. I'm not sure if this is something that can be fixed, but I was trying to leave and make a left turn onto Westwood out of the lot, and this security guard starts to shoo me away. Mind you I am driving a small car so the lot isn't too hard for me to navigate, despite it being really small. I am not sure why he did this or if it was necessary because I was trying to leave out of the exit right next to this place since it was the safest way for me to make a left turn (as a taco truck and lots of traffic block the other exit). Idk he was rude and that was not necessary and because of that I don't think I want to come back. Additionally, some nasty lady in a white Mercedes smoking a cigarette was shooing me away which made the situation even more embarassing and inconvenient for myself and probably others. Nothing about that situation was helpful or productive. Location is essential when it comes to good coffee shops, and I was so turned off by that. I am not sure what Peet's can do but just an FYI for their property management. I wish there was a location closer to where I work because I genuinely would come back, just not here! read more

The location has seen changes to the interior and the bakery selection; though it could be better. Staff are generally very attentive and friendly. Wait times are as expected. Biggest complaint? Staff in this spot are now wearing watermelon badges. As it's not a new flavor, I can only assume it's political, and it should not be happening. Will happily go elsewhere. read more

We stopped by Peet's Coffee and got their Caffe Mocha, Refresher, and a Sandwich for my Son. The Caffe Mocha was good. The Ruby Spritz refresher didn't taste like there's any blood orange puree on it, but their sandwich selections are better than Starbucks. The one my son got is the bacon, sausage, cheddar cruspy, it's actually pretty good. Staff were quick and friendly, and the place was clean. read more

Horrible attitude from several staff on 2 occassions I purchased. Questions are taken as problems.

The staff is so friendly here! Have really enjoyed my experience. I get iced lattes or matcha lattes and really enjoy both. It can get pretty packed in here, but generally I've been able to find seating. If you're coming here to do work, I'd recommend getting here before 9 am to have a better chance at getting seating. There is parking outside, but it fills up pretty quickly so I would recommend street parking. read more

Not my favorite location based on customer service. Sometimes you'll get someone very kind and nice and other times you'll get someone who doesn't even greet you before asking what you want to order. The coffee and everything (pastries) is always great though. There's a good amount of seating inside and a few tables outside. This location isn't as well kept or clean as the other ones I go to, so I never stay here to spot much else that's good or bad, but that's just my observation. Other than that, parking can be tough but that's not their fault. read more

Used to be my favorite of the old school coffee chains, but things here have changed. They pre batch their matcha mix at this location, and my matcha latte tasted watered down. Staff was nice and remade my drink "easy ice" when it wasn't done correctly the first time, but it tasted so watered down I felt like I was drinking plain oat milk. read more

Peets has always been a staple within our coffee group, but most recently, it seems that the coffee freshness has been lagging, staff enthusiasm - meh and the new pastry selection has certainly taken a turn for the worse. Peets is where we all met when they were located in Westwood village. Hopefully, it's only temporary and one day soon, all will return. The staff has always been warm and very friendly whilst the aroma of the fresh coffee was welcoming. Please, please return the old pastry favorites. If you read my reviews of other Peet's locations--You know that I really like Peet's in general. They don't have a ton of locations but they really excel over Starbucks because they still make coffee by hand (Starbucks now uses vending machine type automated makers) , the employees are friendly, and interiors comfortable. I prefer the Dark Roast Black but not all the time--sometimes the Medium taste better. I usually ask them which is better and they will honestly tell you or give you a shot cup to taste. Now this Peet's is right next to a new bike shop: 2 Peaks--so I like this Peet's even more. And the bike shop people are also very friendly and helpful. The free parking lot for this Peet's is shared with many restaurants so if you come at the wrong time you may have to wait for a spot. Or you can park at a paid meter or in the neighborhood far enough away without restrictions and walk it back, or just buy a bike at the store next door and bike it over and lock up and watch your bike carefully though the window--because this area is LA HIGH theft. read more

Strange vibes. Strange crowd. And some very out of it employees. Imagine walking into a packed coffee shop at 7am and every seat taken by daily customers who treat it as their office. Now add incredibly long lines multiplied by MANY online orders and a few useless employees and you have this location. Shout out to Brisa, Angie, Yvette and Brian for being lovely and seemingly the only people who work there at a normal speed and are nice and happy to see customers. But even these 5 star amazingly kind, detailed employees can't raise the average for the rest of the staff. Everyone else is snail speed and there's one weird guy like Giovanni who's on a power trip and constantly arguing with customers. I shouldn't have to wait 12 minutes for a coffee ever. I shouldn't have to wait an extra 7 after my coffee is ready to get my mediocre grilled cheese hc your staff can't communicate. Get. It. Together. read more

Herbal fruit tea, banana pound cake. Delicious. There are many seats and it is easy to use. There are outlets and it is convenient. Both of my drinks were made wrong today, November 10th. The time was between 11 & 11:15. I ordered the Sparkling Tiger's Eye & The Bestie. I was so excited about the Bar menu that I came to this location yesterday between 2:15 & 2:45 to try the Derby & The Sparkling Tiger's Eye. Both tasted really good, and the Tiger's Eye even looked a little like the picture on the Peet's app. Well, today I wanted to try the Bestie, and I ordered the the Sparkling Tiger's Eye again because I had liked it so much the previous day. I did not have the same experience. Neither drink was labeled with the name of the drink. Both drinks were made cold. That was fine for the Sparkling Tiger's Eye, but the Bestie was supposed to be hot. Knowing that the Bestie was supposed to be made hot, I asked which drink was what. He said he made the Bestie cold but would remake it. I asked him if the darker drink was the Sparkling Tiger's Eye, he said yes. I was confused because it looked Nothing like it did the previous day. It looked like iced black coffee. When I finally got a chance to taste the Sparkling Tiger's Eye, it was UNDRINKABLE. It tasted as though syrup or something was at the bottom of the cup. The taste was Overpowered by I don't know what, but I couldn't drink it. I had to throw away the drink which was like throwing away money. I was at work when I tasted the drink; otherwise, I would have brought it back to Peet's and asked for a refund. As for the Bestie, I don't know whether it was good or not because I was so turned off from the Sparkling Tiger's Eye. UGH. These drinks were supposed to have been my morning coffee. I was coming here for 12+ years & I would give the 6 stars but since 4 years ago certain regulars literally bought the staff with exuberant tips & rest of customers are ignored & even treated rudely. The coffee has turned inconsistent with 1 day being excellent and another day horrible. Furthermore, there is particular "$$$ high tipping" customer who gets into very loud arguments with other customers & I have seen it least 2 times & it finally happened to me too. I have heard she has verbally harassed 5-6 other people. If you complain about her the staff will turn hostile towards u because she pays them huge tips. Peet's corporation needs to look into this rogue location. This is coffee shop not private social club. read more

The sun comes up . . . A correction in my morning routine that began during the pandemic was making a visit to the Peet's on Westwood Blvd. a daily ritual. A customer through the tenure of two different store managers, gracious service is the ritual and mantra of my neighborhood Peet's. Frankly, I don't know which to rave about more: the superb espresso-based drinks, or the warmth and percolating vitality of the entire store staff (who are, by the way: Brian, Christopher, Angie, Melissa, Ria, Miles, Sam, and another Sam - both adorable - Ian, Essha, Gio, Briza, Julia, Jenny . . . I hope I haven't forgotten anyone). Individuals all -- students in pursuit of bachelor's or master's degrees, graphic artist, devoted senior pet parent, athlete, New Age goddess, high school grad, future entrepreneurs -- they are the add shot to my morning latte. And as for the drinks, the store's manager Brian was a barista par excellence before he was promoted. He has trained his baristas in the artistry of presentation and flavor mixing that elevates this Peet's location above all others. And this, they all do, throughout the madness of morning rush hour for hurried, coffee hungry customers who flood the store and jam the webiste with online orders. read more

The staff is very friendly all the time. My fav drink from them is the matcha sweetened with vanilla. They are fast at making the drinks. The only bad thing here is that it's hard to find parking. But I still come to this one because the Baristas are always so friendly. Ian is usually the one who takes my order. Peet's Coffee was the last of the chain coffee spots with high quality pastries, especially their Scones and Muffins. I went there specifically for their pastries as their drip coffee was a hit or miss. But the pastry always made up for the times when the coffee was overly bitter. Now, they decided to change their pastry selection to mirror the low quality pastries you get at Starbucks and charge a higher price for the lower quality pastries. It's a shame. They will definitely lose some customers. read more

This is the busiest location in LA. According to their place's manager, at least. It sure does seem that way though. There's almost always a line inside. Good for them, I guess. I come here for one and only drink. Please try Havana cappuccino, in case if you have not done so. Cappuccino with cinnamon and the bit of condensed milk. It's my favorite hot drink across all non-boutique type coffee shops. I think it is also important to mention that the pastries they sell, unlike Starbucks that gets them shipped from China, are supplied by local bakeries. Oh, I absolutely love my weekend routine when I stop by this Peete's coffee location, grab a Havana cappuccino with a side of their banana walnut bread . I like the location, has a parking lot that even has space to park on a busy Saturday. The staff are super knowledgeable, friendly, efficient and patient. I haven't tried the food but they look pretty enticing behind the counter glass. Has 2 bathrooms despite being not too big of a place so you don't have to wait long. Clean and cosy shop. It's Peet's with a solid staff . I will say sometimes the wait time feels long for the amount of people in the store but I have some patience so I'm okay with that . I grabbed a small decaf iced white mocha with 2 shots of decaf expresso ( usually comes with one ) sub oat milk for regular milk . The drink standardly comes with one pump of white mocha ( not syrup - more like a sauce ) ... if you order a small and you don't want it that sweet I would go with a half of pump . I thought the two shots of expresso would make it feel more coffee like but it was still pretty sweet ( even for me who likes a slightly sweet latte ). I don't come here as much as I use to, but this is still my favorite Peet's location and one of my favorite WLA coffee spots. The baristas are always polite and they know how to make a solid, quality espresso drink; never too sweet and never lacking. I always leave here very satisfied with my purchase. Peet's also has the best pastries to pair with your coffee/espresso. I say this because they offer something to match varying tastes buds. I prefer simple pastries with subtle flavors. I can always count on getting a delightful treat here. Right now I'm enjoying a pumpkin, chocolate loaf with their signature Havana Cappuccino. So good! Currently, orders are take out only. Cool vibe, fun location but that parking is a booger.

What happened to Peet's coffee? This location has gone down the drain too. The place is filthy , dirty, short staffed. Staff rude and unfriendly. Most coffee sold by the pound is at least 4 months old if you pay attention to the roast date. I only buy Cafe Domingo, the only coffee worth drinking from Peet's in my opinion. Nice place with good drinks. Wouldn't mind sitting here with a coffee once in a while but it's overrun by regulars who act like they own the place. Squat at tables for hours and leave stuff behind to mark tables even when they leave and come back. Vibe totally kills the place. read more

My drinks always come out amazing, every time I come. Recently they have been out of the chocolate milk that my daughter loves, that being said one of the baristas, I believe his names Ian, always make her one from behind the bar and she loves it just as much. read more

I have been going to this location for 5 years or so, overall the staff is so kind & welcoming. I don't know this particular staff members name and do not want to embarrass her, but the past 5-6 times I have gone there she has misunderstood my order (just a peppermint hot chocolate) and given me something different each time. Been very frustrating. She seems like she may be anxious or struggle with her memory so I feel bad for even complaining but its happened to other customers around me in line too so I just wanted the location to know maybe taking orders is not the best position for her in the store or maybe she could use some memorization tips or further training. read more

I have to say Peet's offers quality coffee that actually tastes like rich coffee flavor. I wish there was a closer location in my area because once you become a Peet's fan you will not drink Starbucks anymore (sorry Starbucks but they water down their coffee). I highly recommend their iced vanilla latte with almond milk and only HALF a pump of sweetener. This is my fav drink and they never disappoint. The taste is always consistent and rich. Dropped in at 2.30pm. Long line as two elderly were trying to order. Several employees in the backroom could be heard but didn't come out to help. 10 min later ordered a dark roast coffee. Employee said she'd brewery some and should take 2 min. 3 min later once the line was negligible, one of the backroom people showed up to open a second register. I inquired about my brewing coffee and was told it would be another 5 min. I got my money back and left. Almost 20 min in shop and no coffee. Disgraceful. I've been a lover of Peets growing up in the Bay Area. Alfred Peet would be turning in his grave at the lack of service here. read more
