Loudly complaining about having to make a drink, In front of the customer, is absolutely wild to me. You chose to apply, interview, and work at this job. It doesn't matter if you don't like making it, if the menu offers it then customers can order it, and shouldn't be shamed or guilt tripped over it. Also it's not like it was a crazy order, if having to make 5 extra espresso shots upsets you to the point you feel like loudly and publicly shaming the customer, I think being a barista is really just not for you. Most of the time. The coffee I get here is great. Today I ordered a beverage and the espresso shot was expired, Dry, tasted like nicotine, maybe the nozzle was not clean? Make a Almond Milk Carmel Cookie Crumble add Carmel crunch. It might just have the nicotine taste to it. read more

Starbucks can sometimes be a hit or miss, but after receiving a ridiculous amount of gift cards this Christmas, I decided to "splurge" on a drink and their pre-packages cheese and fruit container. I'd say this was about average busy (busy enough that I didn't want to wait in the drive-thru line and go inside). I was super impressed with how quickly the barista made my drink and got it out. Even though it was fairly busy, there didn't seem to be a big line of people waiting. The employees were very efficient, much more than many of the locations I've been to. I also think it's cool this location serves beer and wine and gives you the option to reserve a table. Lake Stevens is a little out of the way for me, but I'll definitely stop at this location next time I'm in the area! read more

service was nice enough, but my bagel wasn't cut (so it was cold inside), and my shots were bad. i work at starbucks and know how my order was supposed to be, and this wasn't done correctly. both things have happened a few times. the environment is cozy and there are several places to sit, but i'd definitely recommend just going to the starbucks down the street. read more

Oh my gosh, you would think there wasn't another Starbucks around or other coffee alternative based on how busy this place gets. I was meeting a friend and we wanted something sit down so we came here. If I knew of another place close by I would have gone there. This place is insanely LOUD. No tables open the entire time we were there. How anyone could work during the noise is beyond me. My drink was fine. My food was fine. It was just TOO busy. Parking is limited. Been frequenting this location since I moved up here in 2012. Great, friendly staff. Even doing the remodel the staff always greeted me with a smile and the finished products were always satisfactory. Now with a drive thru the place is a lot more crowded and open later. Bonus! It's sometimes frustrating to wait in the long drive through but i've found if you go inside, the line is usually minimal. Definitely a great location. read more

It's a great location to hang out and catch up with friends, do some work, etc. Love that there is outdoor seating. ..especially on gorgeous days like today. Starbucks isn't my favorite place due to prices, big corporation, ..I do prefer to support the local coffee stands, community businesses, etc, but like I said. ..it's a great place to hang out for a bit, catch up and relax. Drinks tend to be a little inconsistent, and I wish they'd bring the blackberry syrup back, but it's convenient with the drive thru and location. Employees have always been friendly. I like to pay it forward when I go thru the drive thru, and I've had it happen to me on several occasions also, which tells me most of the patrons there are pretty awesome too! read more

It's startucks. So, you pretty much know what you're going to get before you even step through the door. All Starbucks being equal, this is a nice little shop well equipped with the customary baked goods, various sundries, and a very pleasant staff that keeps this particular shop squeaky clean. Had to stop in here during the recent snowstorm to fill up on Java before my trek back down to Bellevue. Everyone here was really pleasant and nice. I'm sure I'll be back. read more

Thank god for the remodel. This place has completely changed from what it was- which was a small, loud place I would not want to spend more than 6 minutes. Post-remodel- it's a place to spend time, enjoy a book, chill with a friend, fire up a laptop and have a internet party. I dig the dark wood interior, nice chairs, tables. It's a great Starbucks. I am a living Starbucks Junkie and have gone to this location on a regular basis over the past 2 1/2 years. Their new(er) location is super convenient with the drive thru (Although does get back up sometimes) And a very busy location, but nonetheless, a big location, always clean, well stocked with merchandise and pastries etc. Out of the 2 1/2 years I've been coming here, they've only messed up my drink once, and were able to fix it right away. Staff are all very friendly. I've gone in the store before where there's about 12 beverages ahead of me, and those barista's seriously work their tails off to get drinks out in a timely matter. Coffee always tastes great, would highly recommend this location :) read more

There was nobody in line and the young man was finishing the last order. I kept moving so he could see me but he completely ignored me. I finally walked over to were he was talking to the customer. My favorite Starbucks! I don't even drink coffee!!! But, I will go out of my way to go to THIS one, if I need to. I've been going here for years. The remodel was much-needed and it's now so nice inside. The perfect place to sit in relax in comfy chairs or work at a table. Everyone here is super nice and they know me by now. (How embarrassing. Haha) They rarely mess up my drink - which is kind of a miracle because I'm picky about it. And, on the rare occassions they do, they give me a coupon for a free drink - I really appreciate this. They have some yummy pastries, the bagels are my favorite. The drive-thru is super fast now. It was pretty slow in the beginning, but they've sped up a LOT! My only downgrade is that they run out of pastries EARLY! I don't even GO if it's after 11 a.m. and I want a bagel, because the chances are, they are all gone. I think this is a Starbucks "thing" - and not specific to this location, but it's really frustrating and something I think Starbucks should look into modifying. read more

My review is for the drive thru only. I have gone here many times, and always leave satisfied. There are very few Coffee joints that I'll go through the drive thru, because I hate waiting. But this store is the exception, their drive thru always seems fast. The staff are friendly and very helpful! This is the slowest most incompetent Starbucks I've ever been to. Walked into the lobby, five people working with zero line and it still took five minutes to be acknowledged and have my order taken. The drive thru is ridiculous as well. Have sat in my car for over ten minutes and didn't move an inch. Never an apology for the wait from the staff. Drive thru workers will have full conversations with their friends coming through the drive thru while there is a long line waiting behind them. I wish there was a different drive thru I could go to but unfortunately this is the closest one to me. read more

So my friends and I came here for some late night coffee and luckily this location was open late enough to hang out for a bit (10 pm) closing time. The drinks were all spot on, I ordered an iced caramel macchiato and some locations can get the drink wrong but I was pretty satisfied! They forgot to make one of my friends drinks and rushed it without us asking and also gave her a gift card for the wait! Their customer service is amazing and as I said in my last review the remodel makes this Starbucks look so inviting. read more

Even with the new building and drive thru this is still quite possibly the slowest store in the entire franchise. The employees are still unfriendly and make it very obvious that customers are interrupting their day. This is my first time back since the new building, and I swore after the last experience I had here with the slowness and rude employees I wouldn't be back, and this time it's legit. There are 2 other locations close by that are in grocery stores. They are quicker and far more friendly; that definitely makes them more convenient. read more

the remodel is lovely, they are quite busy, but I'm hoping for speediness in the new year. I do have to agree that many of the staff seem down right angry!! We have a game called "make 'em smile." Update: They did it....got the warmth on....I suspect moved the warm up ovens closer to the take out window. Now the place is filled with customers sticking around and buying more product and spending serious time socializing. My letters must of made the difference. Best barista staff I've ever come across (although there are quite a few new employees due to the expansion and I haven't gotten to know them yet). In general, most take the time to smile and learn your go-to drink if you come in often. Location was recently remodeled and is now incredibly spacious with a lot of comfy seating and a great aesthetic. They also added a drive-thru which is fantastic to have. Seriously the SLOWEST drive thru on the planet. I live in the area and 8/10 times I'm stuck in the drive thru from 5-10 minutes. I've now been sitting in the drive thru for over 10 minutes!! It's ridiculous. It sucks that unless I want to go to Everett or take my three kids out of the car I have to deal with it ..... I just hope they improve their speed of service ASAP!! read more

I live in Lake Stevens so this is one of the Starbucks that I go to when I drink Starbucks normally I would rather support a local coffee stand business but sometimes I like a passion tea lemonade or something that only Starbucks has. I am a Barista myself and so I know how it feels to get tipped him to not get tipped and being with Starbucks you have to share your tips which is cool whatever. So I always generously tip five dollars no matter what I get whether it be something small something big I always leave five dollars in these baristas here are so unappreciative I'm never coming back again. read more

If we tried to asked for something as simple as a Siracha packet she would huff and puff like it was the end of the world for her.
