This is our local Starbucks and we go here often to get our coffee fix. In a sea of Dunkin Donuts, it's nice to be able to go to a Starbucks and get exactly what you ordered. No frills, no crazy pricing, and no attitudes. Everytime we've come here, our drinks have been consistent and exactly what we ordered. I'm also surprised by the amount of negative reviews regarding customer service as we've always had the friendliest baristas in the drive thru and in store. read more

We stopped in Saturday morning, August 29, around 8:30-9:00 a.m. and ordered two coffees and two plain bagels with cream cheese. I paid with a gift card and believed I heard the barista say there was $10 remaining on the card. When I asked about it, she responded rather rudely and said she had told me I had a $10 balance to pay. My husband paid the remaining amount by credit card. After waiting for our order, we received only one bagel. When we questioned this, the barista insisted, that we had ordered only one. Since it was early and I thought I may have misunderstood the gift card situation as well, I assumed I had made a mistake and we ordered another bagel. Then my son noticed that the bag was marked "Order 1 of 2," confirming that there were two items/bags associated with our order. My husband went back inside to explain that we had originally ordered and paid for two bagels, but had only received one, and that we had then been charged for an additional bagel. Unfortunately, we did not have the receipt, but we were very clear about what we had ordered. My husband has since checked his credit card statement and discovered that instead of being credited for the issue, he was charged again--leaving us charged for four bagels when we ordered two. The combination of the rude interaction, the missing item, and ultimately being charged for twice the number of bagels we ordered was disappointing. We would appreciate this being reviewed and corrected. read more

8/3/25 ordered 2 coffees via the app this morning and got to the store at 6:30 a.m. The door was locked and nobody was inside even though they open at 5:00 a.m. Waited in the parking lot for 10 min watching all the customers come and go. Finally see someone inside so I knock on the locked door. They ignore me. I call the store and they pick up! They can't let me in to get my order, tell me they are opening in 30 min (even though the app took the order and they are supposed to open at 5 am) and they cannot give me a refund. read more

Be sure to go through the drive through. They care less how quickly they serve you inside. I waited 11 minutes for a cake pop for my kid. I would have left if it would not have crushed my kid lol read more

Definitely the worst Starbucks I've been too. They are definitely understaffed and they just kind of put out drinks all chaotic, drinks don't come out together. The drinks were so good! I got one of those fun popping bubble drinks. It was delicious!!!! The drinks came out quickly. it was like the barista read my mind when I was confused on ordering and stuff. It was clean and not super busy which seems surprising for such a busy area in mid July. In general, I'd skip this Starbucks. If you're visiting from out of state and you're doing the whole Kittery outlet shopping thing, that probably won't be possible, but just know: there are way, way better options than this. The staff seems nice, but they're stretched waaaaaaaaay too thin. I had to repeat my order to the barista FIVE times ("two iced coffees with a splash of oat milk"), because she just kept processing it differently ("one coffee with cream"). I can only assume this is because they were slammed and she had a lot going on, but it started getting very Abbott & Costello. This was also the longest wait time I've *ever* experienced. Our coffees took about 45 minutes to come out. And they didn't come out together. We got one then waited around another 10 minutes for the second one. But hey: they drinks were accurate! One last note: Because of the way this Starbucks is laid out, everyone clusters together at the front door waiting for their order. It's very confusing and very difficult to navigate (especially if you have any claustrophobia, sensory overload, or anxiety issues), so heads-up there. read more

Starbucks is basically an option if there's nothing available as I basically paid six bucks for a giant cup of ice with subtle coffee flavor. They need to stop cutting people short, it's extortion. It's literally 3/4 a cup of just ice, this is not a fair thing to charge so much and then cheat them out of their money by watering down drinks with extra ice. I will not be returning as I did not order a cup of ice, I wanted coffee. On top of that they were adding ice to everything that was looking a bit short to make it look fuller. read more

Got into the store ( no hours posted at front door) and with a customer at the counter a clerk announced from across the establishment that they close at 8pm. We were 3 minutes before the closing. I have been to this Starbucks once...on probably one of their most difficult days...Black Friday, and let me tell you--these baristas know their jobs! The line was out the door when I got there before venturing into the nearby Saucony but I figured I'd test it out and see if my impatience would make turn around and leave. Lo and behold they proved me wrong. I ordered three lattes and was out the door in 10 minutes. TEN minutes! With a line out the door! Incredible. The other awesome part was that they maintained the store impeccably--it was so clean and neat despite all of the customers bombarding Kittery Outlets for their Christmas shopping. Rude Rude Rude and totally disrespectful staff. I have never in my life seem such poor customer service. I was 3 words into my feedback regarding my experience and the young man with blond spiky hair shut the window and told me to go away. Then when I tried to go to the lobby which was closed all 4 staff members were laughing and just yelling at me to " go away". Also yelled..."complain all you want we have no manager". I ordered 2 Pumpkin Loafs Warmed. I order the same thing every morning but today the word "Warmed" has no meaning to people working drive thru. I didn't pay for cold bread. But it's okay the floorboard of my car has enjoyed my 2 loafs of cold bread this morning. It would have held everybody up at the drive thru if I asked them to do what I asked for to begin with. ‍ I also didn't want to wait another 20 minutes in the drive thru either. Quick and efficient. Asked for light on the whip cream and exactly that. Drizzled some chocolate syrup which I didn't ask for but that's ok.

New year's eve, thumbs down Not up to Starbuck's standard of Service. Baristas were not friendly- did not even ask the most basic customer service questions. Room for cream? anything else? My previous review received no response from this Starbucks franchise. Even at the time I thought "I'm NEVER coming back to Maine!" This was our first visit to a state we thought we'd love. But the treatment we experienced by Starbucks in that state seemed a pretty good indicator of how the rest of the state would accept us: i.e. if my totally blind husband and his dog (and I!) were treated poorly at Starbucks (I mean, it's STARBUCKS!), by my lights that's a "know one thing, know ten thousand things story.) Am about to take this up to the top in the wake of recent blatant prejudices at other outlets, because Starbucks serves as the local ambassador. We're not ethnic or black. But we are disabled. The corporation needs to realize that and train (or fire!!!!) accordingly. Some people just shouldn't work in the service industry. I don't even want to speed through Maine because of the over-the-top rudeness we experienced last summer at a single Starbucks at the border :( Sad because it was a state I really expected to love. read more

Wow. What a nightmare. I had a freebee from my local starbucks (I go almost every other day), and I redeemed it. I gave the gifl a $10, and she handed me change for a $5. I bought a water and something for my son along with my free coffee. I went out to my car to verify that it was a $10 I gave her, not a $5 I know it was a $10, end of story because I just used my $20 on an $8 purchase. She gave me another $5, end of story. I picked up my coffee.. it was lukewarm. Really? I went to my car thinking I could deal with it, but I couldn't.. it tasted like crap. I had them warm it up.. they offered to remake it. I don't want them to remake a free mocha coffee.. I already feel foolish over their change mistake. Well, dumb of me. Watever milk she had in the tin, went into my coffee.. and eeeeek.. My triple shot barely had 1 shot of espresso in it. Really? I should of had them remake it.. my dumb move, then again I didn't know she was going to add more milk. Bummer. read more

Always happy when my wife and I go here. They're more expensive than Dunkin' Donuts, but have actually been trained so they know how to make a consistent product. You get what you pay for, I'd rather spend my money here. Store is always clean and usually very busy, but the staff is always fast and friendly. read more
