Hands down, this has been our favorite coffee for at least a decade. We first discovered Carpe Diem at Philbrick's in Portsmouth, then North Hampton, which used to be closer to where we once lived. We began ordering deliveries of whole bean coffee from the Carpe Diem website, and now it has been years that we have been doing this. It is by far the best coffee we have ever had. Kenya AA, Thunderbolt, Vanilla Bean, French Roast Kenya AA, Columbian Supremo, and so many other flavors, just absolutely the best. the first opening of that bag of beans is a true delight, it reaches all of your senses at once. Their process never over-roasts any beans, like some chains do, and they bring out the best in each flavor and each kind of bean. If you could only smell the wonderful fragrance of the bags of beans currently on our counter! We order around ten bags or so at a time, store them in a cool place, and work through them with happiness every day. Cannot say enough great things about this coffee. Anytime we have guests and we serve them our Carpe Diem, (It's the only coffee we ever have on deck, and the only one we just ever have), they go nuts for it. I wish more grocery stores/any store would carry Carpe Diem, now that Philbrick's is gone, but we just order online, so that works fine for us. You must try this coffee.
