Well, normally I enjoy a Starbucks and actually the drinks are good but the service is ridiculous. Where to start. First ordered something from the case. "Sorry we're out order something else". So I did, "I don't have that either." Apparently it was just a guessing game. Basically if you don't have something remove it from the case. Asked for coffee with cream and sugar, but there was no sugar - had to go back to get sugar. Asked for a plain black tea was given some kind of frothy concoction that I didn't order.. They are so busy being busy that they're not paying attention to anyone - and no smiles, I think they're worn out. Also, they didn't ask for my name and they don't call him it's hard to know what is yours. Apparently,, you have to know to just slide the cup protector down to look at what you got - and hope it wasn't another order Again - drinks on point. Nice little Starbucks on the corner of Beach and San Pablo with a lot of potential. The staff here was super nice from the time walking in and made us feel welcome. I ordered a coffee frap, which was done just right; not too sweet and not too much ice. I do have to ding it on cleanliness. The bathroom was pretty nasty here, but the rest of the inside was clean. It seems they may have a problem with homeless going in and using their restrooms; there were a couple of homeless guys hanging out outside the store using the chairs. Nothing wrong with that, but the employees do need to keep up the cleanliness of the restrooms as they do the rest of the restaurant. read more

Typically, I order using the app so I decided to on this visit and noticed that oat milk and almond milk were not available. I thought that was odd so I decided to just place an order at the drive thru. Luckily, almond milk was in stock. My service experience was good. I believe the employee I ordered with was new and in training so it did take longer than usual to order. Sometimes when you're having a rough day (or weekend) you need to find love and kindness in the sources around you...this location of Starbucks has to be staffed with the nicest, kindest group of women I have EVER encountered at a Starbucks anywhere in the world (all over USA, UK, Taiwan, Japan, Mexico, etc). It started off w Helen, my cashier, then my egg bites server person, and my barista. I had such excellent service from beginning to end with such positive, friendly attitudes from the staff this morning on July 26, 2021. Interestingly enough I only stopped in because I needed to make a drop off at the FedEx nearby. FedEx wasn't open until nine and I had a few minutes to spare. I'm really glad I stopped in for a little treat. Cute gifts too! I commented to the staff that they were the friendliest kindest Starbucks I have ever attended and asked if they were caffeinated or just Happy People. My barista said "both" and giggled. The drive-through crew said "just happy not caffeinated". They were so thankful of my positive feedback, that I had to stop and review them before I even left the parking lot. Whoever hires and trains the staff at this location should give them all great feedback and any perk possible! Plus it's a sign of great leadership. Way to go Starbucks! read more

Frequent this Starbucks often as it is close to work and the staff were friendly...up until today. I placed an order while I was out in Neptune Beach and proceeded to make my way to the store. Upon arriving and giving my name, I was told that my order had only gone through a minute ago. Figured, phone glitch or something, no big deal! I told the barista I would wait. When I got up to the window, a different barista (possibly a manager?) told me I need to "coordinate my arrival time better." When I explained the situation, the response I was given was, "yeah I don't care, coordinate it better next time. We don't make orders in under 2 minutes." Umm...what the actual f***? So sorry I couldn't predict a phone malfunction. And to top it all off, both drinks were wrong! One was completely incorrect and the other was missing extras I paid for. I have tried multiple Starbucks locations throughout the area and this one is by far my favorite. Customer service is great, lines are short generally speaking but even if they're long the wait isn't too long. In and out within 10 minutes most days. Haven't been inside but drive through is pretty great! They have made my drink consistently every time I've gone. I definitely recommend this location over others in the area! read more

Come on! What the hell is the problem? Ok, I'm on this limited diet and I can't have ANY dairy or soy. On days when I'm in a rush and don't have time to make breakfast I get an oatmeal from Starbucks. This morning (which was closer to afternoon), I asked for an oatmeal with all the toppings inside. As I pulled away, I noticed the bag felt very light. I looked inside. First of all, all of the toppings were on the side (not INSIDE, like I specifically asked). Then, I opened the oatmeal bowl only to see that there was no water in the oatmeal! They gave me a boal of dry oats!!! Come on, now. That's just ridiculous. I backed up to the drive thru window and was not greeted with much of an apology. Then she proceeded to put too much water in the bowl so it was runny and difficult to eat. The crazy employees were yelling at some people two cars ahead of us. I thought they were about to fight. The car ahead of us drove off and we followed. They didn't seem like people we wanted making our drinks. They always tell us that they can't make any frappucinnos at this location. I do drive thru more often than I actually venture inside the shop, but either way the baristas are friendly and my drinks are always correct. Yes, it is unfortunately true that not all SBUX are created equal and some do make the 'experience' a little bit better than the one down the street, but don't count these guys out.
