Visited this Starbucks today. What a comfortable, relaxing environment here! Patrons were reading, enjoying their food and drink, conversing - very quiet/chill store compared to other coffee shops I've been in. My coffee was very good, and the barista was excellent- friendly, helpful, kind, and polite to all customers. This will now be a new stop for coffee. read more

This place is good if you want to make custom drinks or just order from the menu, it's a good idea to ask first and then they will make it. The stuffed pizza pretzel is pretty good too. read more

The coffee is consistent as you would expect from Starbucks. However, they do not keep the space clean. There are always a ton of flies, which is really annoying when your trying to do work or read. In my opinion, that is unacceptable for a business, especially a food driven business. read more

Been coming to this location since I moved to Jackson. I come here EVERY Tuesday and Thursday evenings as well as many mornings. Recently (today) they are closing at 8pm even though it was packed. I noticed that Whole Foods across the street stays open with their coffee area till 10pm. I guess I will go there from now on as well as the rest of the Starbucks patrons that were told to exit since "We are closed now". To me, that is counter intuitive... If a competitor opens up across the street, I would find ways to retain my current clients as well as attract new ones. Closing earlier is not the way to accomplish that. Just sayin' read more

So I'm a big Starbucks fan, went to this place in jackson, MS and they pretty much have nothing to buy nor see in the area. I was thinking of buying a souvenir from MS. I went in this Starbucks place, asked the sales guy if he has a Mississipi mug. And he replied so loud that they never exist. This town is too small and didn't even have a starbucks MS mug. Pretty decent place. Every now and then you'll get a new worker that makes a mistake, but hey, people have to learn somehow. I think the core group of baristas/workers here are really good. They always greet you warmly and they really know how to make some great coffee drinks. I'm a huge fan of their iced coffee (especially with free refills since I'm a gold member). I'd say most of their specialty drinks are a little sweeter than I like, but I do like to indulge every once in a while. I've only had one bad experience here before and that was with two new workers and a very non-professional conversation they were having. Only reason I gave it the one star is because I had no choice. The staff is horrible the team was answering personal calls on the floor. They kept talking amongst themselves which is probably why they messed up my order THREE times. Not once did they apologize for the inconvenience, they instead gave me an attitude when I asked for my drinks to be fixed. I then asked for a receipt which they refused to give me. Let me begin by saying I LOVE Starbucks. As much as I continue to support local coffee shops and speaking from someone who spent a tremendous amount of time in the #1 Coffee City in the World, Seattle- I know a great cup of pure bold roast when I sniff one. Although Starbucks might not be the 'Best Coffee' around- you have to admit it is pretty convenient and strongly hold its own when you are in need of a caffeine boost. With that being said, my 3 star rating for this particular location is because it is often a hit or a miss. I truly never know what type of service, drink, or experience I will encounter at this particular location. The staff is normally always welcoming and nice- but, the drink prep quality and wait time are sometimes not the most stable when ordering drinks a bit more complicated. I have to admit when I come to this location I try to keep my order as simple as possible- this has lowered the unpredictability aspect. Some of the baristas are fantastic and they take the time to know returning customers' names and their drinks and are quick to remake a drink if its not to their standards. But, when there is a new wave of newly quick chosen staff, the customer service and drink quality is lowered than what is expected for 'Starbucks'. But when they are staffed with great people who know their coffee and are quick during the daily rush- this place is 5-star. read more

I live in another city, but I was passing through and decided to try this Starbucks since I had a free reward on my gold card. The service was fast and my order was prepared correctly. The only negative is that sales tax are 9%. They have a huge selection of drink/ food items and the restaurant was clean and the people were friendly and nice. read more

Love, love, love their coffee!!! However, the sandwiches are not worth it!!! I saw them online when placing a order, and decided to try it. I ordered the chicken bacon sandwich. However, I received one single strip of bacon and a few pieces of chicken that contained pieces of gristle. Won't be trying another sandwich, but will return for my beloved Frappuccino's. read more

I always stop here on my way through town and it's never been top notch but it's ok. However, today was a terrible experience! First both bathrooms were out of order, then they were out of the ingredients to make a mocha. I am addicted to Starbucks but this has to be one of the worst stores I have been in. The location is awful, very difficult to get to and then find parking. I planned on treating myself to a Mocha as I passed through Jackson, even by passed the loop to 55 so I could stop here. The lines were extremely long, the bathrooms (both of them) were out of order (1/4/14) and the staff were drones. Not a good experience at all. I walked out and went to the car and was going to leave but my addiction got the better of me and I went back in and waited. The place was a mess. I think there is a Starbucks in the Target north of the city. I will be going there next time I pass through especially after reading others reviews who experience the same thing here. read more

The gay guy behind the counter was extremely rude and I watched him grab my cup, place it back in the line and then make five hot drinks before turning around to make mine. He didn't even make my drink, the girl at the register who took my order finally turned around and made my drink. She kindly brought it to me at the long counter at the bar. While I sat there, I also watched him make drinks and some of them weren't even full. I will absolutely not be back. read more

This Starbucks is clean and great for working. I order from my phone and it is ready when I get there. Sometimes this Starbucks is a little slow making your drink. This is a great place to go get a cup of coffee after work. read more
