Grabbed a coffee this morning before my shift. I walked in and while I was acknowledged I had to interrupt the baristas to order my coffee. And I had to do this several times. I also repeated my order back to him (wearing the nametag "Rose") before paying to make sure that my order was put in correctly. I worked in a cuatomer service driven field too. And when a client walks in all side conversations should be put on hold. Instead of talking about Aqua Teen Hunger Force while Im trying to make sure my coffee order is put in correctly so that I can get to work on time. read more

Some reason they can never get my drink right, I order the Cafe Vanilia Frapachino which seems like it would be pretty simple to make. Their coffee always tastes burnt even the coffee beans which are stored in packages. The only thing I can order from them is the chai tea- but that comes in a carton so I know what the expect. It's Starbucks... You know what the coffee tastes like, you know what you like and dislike, and no, it's not local. I'm sure it was at one time though, right? That's gotta count for something. I'm a purist, or at least I like to think that I am. My mom tells me that anybody that drinks coffee black is just doing it to tell people they do. Nobody really likes coffee black. Well, I do like coffee black. That means the girl behind the register that I pay is the same girl that turns around, presses a button, and serves me my dark roast coffee. It's exceptionally fast as I am handed my order before 4 people in front of me get theirs. I always smile on the way out to the woman in a hurry who ordered the Low Fat Iced White Chocolate Mocha. This location has plenty of space to sit, talk, study, or play Connect Four. There are a few tables outside, which I always like, but that means people are out there smoking. I'm the first person to say live and let live but smoking always irritates me. That's the only downside to this place. If that doesn't bother you, then this location is great. Plenty of parking, never that crowded, and you can pick up Marble Slab across the way if the blueberry scone didn't do it for you. read more

You know I love my coffee, and this is my closest Bucks en route to work...but jeeeeeez, this particular barista is the biggest douche bag ever! He is slow, his drinks aren't good, my latte wasn't even hot, the worst! Has the crappiest attitude ever, no work ethic, his service sucks! Its enough that I shall find another location to frequent. 2 stars for location and the register guy was polite. Depending on the day, the baristas can be moody! The only reason I go to this location is because it's next to the gym. However, they recently renovated and the setup is more comfy than other Starbucks. If you are wiling to battle attitude from a barista, it's worth checking out. read more

I wouldn't typically leave a review for a place like Starbucks because everyone's been to one, we all know what they're like, and one location isn't much different from the next. I stopped on this page to leave a review because the wifi is ridiculous, it's always packed, often impossible to find a table, the restrooms are bad, and the service is slow. The last time I came in here the barista stopped to chat to some girl in line in front of me for what must have been at least five minutes, gave her a free drink, then proceeded to take another five minutes to make my drink, which ended up being wrong. Just wanted to take a moment and brag on the staff at this Starbucks location. They are so friendly and go out of their way to make great drinks and a wonderful experience overall. When I wanted to try something new they made sure I liked my drink before leaving the store and offered to make me a new one if I didn't. Every time I come here I am disappointed, I have never thought to write a review because I kept going in hopes that it would get better because some of the staff is so nice ....but sadly it hasn't gotten better. The last time I went in I ordered a venti green iced tea w/ extra ice and a bacon and gouda breakfast sandwich. Easy enough, shouldn't take long. I had to wait forevvverrrr because they are so slow, in the amount of time it took me to get an iced green tea, the barista at the actual coffee bar made three cappuccinos....(insert shocked face) . When they hand me the bacon and gouda sandwich there is cheese all over the bag and even some egg. I kindly ask for them to put it in a new bag. Then I finally get the iced green tea and there is soooo much ice that I can't even put a straw in it. Then I ask for a bigger cup to put this in ( as sometimes Starbucks is kind enough to put a venti iced green tea in a trenta cup for you with extra ice) and he hands it to me and does not even dump some of the ice out for me. So I stand there and do it myself and ice goes everywhere on their coffee bar....that was probably the last straw for me, I am already irritated at always having to wait in here, I consistently see people behind me in the line just walk out and its annoying because it is the closest one to my office building, so even though I want it to be the last straw ( literally and figuratively speaking) it probably won't be....but I really just would like them to try and hustle a little bit for the people in the area that actually have to get to work. This Starbucks is close to my work when I'm in Houston. It is consistently inaccurate. They don't get "NO FOAM" and they don't get 'warm' instead of steaming, boiling hot. It's a shame you even have to ask to have a coffee that is drinkable temperature but, here you do... and they still FAIL. I cannot even remember a time when my $6. cup of coffee was prepared correctly. I've just quit going here because they simply cannot EVER get it right. This location is usually cluttered and dirty outside, fairly slow service, and the orders are not correct. On top of that, there are some new employees now, as of the last few weeks when I've been, and they are NOT friendly.. Not looking for buddies or pleasant chatter, but just be polite and nice. If you can't be pleasant to the customers, then go find a bathroom to clean or empty the trash. Nobody needs your attitude when all they really want is a latte. read more

I visit this location W-A-Y more than I've checked in...at least 4 times a week, at least! I literally walk into the door and 90% of the time, the counter person recognizes me and knows the drink I order. I've been going to this Starbucks for years and years, but their new policy of leaving the sleeves in a dispenser that is nearly impossible to use, especially one handed, is very frustrating. For years the sleeve was just put on the cup by the barista and, while I understand this is probably an efficiency move and I can appreciate that, a new way to dispense the sleeves needs to be devised. This morning I scraped my hand on the dispenser and still couldn't get a sleeve out. This has my same issue for a week now and my complaints just receive a insincere " sorry" in return. While this store has been my favorite for many years, and I am almost a daily customer, I'm done with this nonsense. read more

Was told id receive a free coffee by an assistant manager perhaps name tag showed the name "Nate". I never got my free coffee, but he did use my number from my credit card information and drove by my house several times requesting that I go out with him. Not professional at all, never have I experience someone getting my information from making a purchase and using it for their own personal reasons. Very creepy and I refuse to go here again. I drive to the Galleria location more professional and I'm not hassled by a worker. read more

The only reason I'm giving this location a two star review is because it is one of the more spacious Starbucks' in the area. Otherwise, the bathrooms are never clean, the wifi is terrible and there are several baristas that are terrible at their job, and on top of that they look and act creepy towards the woman customers. On top of that, they also need to work on cleaning up and maintain the drinks station where the sugar, napkins etc are because there is almost never enough milk. Changes need to be made at this location before I return! read more

I usually come here to study since it's the closest Starbucks to my place. However, it's often full of loud teenagers, possibly because of a teacher who holds her private classes in Starbucks for some reason. If you're lucky to avoid those days, it's a good place to sit or study with plenty of space. read more
