Even for a coffee house, they have a large selection of baked goods and sandwiches to choose from that you would take a moment to think about what you would order. I ordered the Bacon Breakfast Waffle Sandwich with the Cappuccino with oat milk. The sandwich was very good with the waffles being flavourful on their own. The Cappuccino was fantastic, tasting consistently palpable. I also had their Almondine Croissant, which I found fresh, crunchy and tasty overall. The service was pretty proficient as well, where they use a beeper system to call customers from their tables. Although, they do call your name sometimes too. This business is a hotspot for special events as well with a bulletin board in the back telling you what is happening. So, the Blue Moose Coffee House is a highly recommendable place to have breakfast, lunch, a take-out meal or just to socialize. I look forward to coming back to this place.

Update re: baking mixes purchased…read more We have now tried and finished all the mixes that were purchased -- as follows: - blueberry chai hot cereal mix -- daughter purchased for Mom -- nice selection of ingredients -- prepared 'as is', without any additions of fruits, berries, or the like -- nice 'delicate' aroma, flavourful, and tasty -- she sure enjoyed it. - buttermilk pancake / waffle mix -- used for pancakes only -- prepared without any additions -- pancakes were light, fluffy, and sure good tasting -- 'the' best prepared product of its kind ever tasted -- much-enjoyed. - milk chocolate fudge brownie mix -- resulting brownies 'sweet & rich' -- very flavourful, and tasty. - plain scone mix -- prepared 'as is', without any additions -- scones light, fluffy, with a 'delicate' flavour -- tasty, and much-enjoyed. We were impressed!! and really enjoyed these 'Mother Hubbard's' prepared baking mixes. You can choose bacon or sausage, kind of toast, and scrambled, or fried as you like -- so perfectly adequate, not a special breakfast out. My partner got bubble tea and the mega breakfast sandwich - essentially a bagel with omelette-like egg, tomato, cheese, and avocado. Both the tea and the sandwich were fine. But I do want to be clear -- this is a coffee house, not a sit-down restaurant. It is busy, and you kind of fend for yourself. The fact that they make breakfast or sandwiches in the back doesn't turn this into a restaurant with table service.

We were back to Artisans Attic for another browse and look about the shop during a recent…read morelate-March stay in Hope. As the last time when we entered this small shop, we were immediately impressed with how much "stuff & such" was on display. All wall spaces, tables, and shelves were filled with their unique, and colourful offerings of all kinds - very nicely-displayed, and presented to catch passing eyes! For daughter and I once again, the same variety and selections of crafts, gifts, and such as seen before. Of special note to me this visit though, was seeing the large collection of 'hand-painted glassware by Errol Brimacombe'. It was nice to see such a wide-selection of this Chilliwack artist's glassware pieces on display here (and my photo only shows pieces on the table, missing the others on shelves behind) The same wonderful aromas of their homemade fudges, gelato offerings, and other sweets filled the air, and added that same nice touch to the senses of our previous visit. We were happy to have had this chance for a return visit to this fine shop.
