I think the server's name was Cass - but I can't quite recall. Once she learned that it was our first time there, she gave us the full run down: All the bread is made in house The cakes are all Grammy's recipes, which she taught to her niece All the meat is cooked or smoked in house and - ham, turkey, beef etc The menu is large - almost overwhelming, but in a good way. Almost everything comes in half or full. I can't imagine anyone finishing a full meal here - their slogan is "bigger is better" and they really mean it. None of us were able to finish our meals and were left with the perfect amount for dinner later that evening. I ordered Whole Wheat toast with my breakfast and I'm not kidding when I say that it was the best toast I've ever had. I definitely would have bought a loaf to take home but you have to pre-order that one and it's only available on Thursdays :( Oh well, I guess I'll just have to go back!

They've lost my business at this location.

We had already looked at the menu online, so we were ready to order our food at the same time as our drinks. We waited again for a very long time for our food. I had the classic eggs Benedict and my husband had the farmer's breakfast. When we finally got it, the presentation was beautiful. Unfortunately, that was where it ended. There was absolutely no flavor; Not even a little bit. I walked my meal, and the salt is the only thing I actually tasted. My husband's food, except for the sausage, was the same. Lastly, I had one cup of coffee and was never asked if I needed anything else, so, I shared my husband's pop. I've never understood cooks who don't taste what they send out. Such a shame.
