My husband and I stopped by Tiger's Eye Coffee Shop, and we both loved the cozy, eclectic atmosphere. I ordered an affogato, and my husband had a salted caramel latte. Both were excellent, and you could really taste the quality of the coffee beans. I also asked about the cookies and learned that they're made by a retired neighbor, which made the experience feel even more personal and community-oriented. I loved browsing the locally made crafts throughout the café, and the unique décor gave the space so much character. There's also a chess table in the back that looked especially inviting. Tiger's Eye is a charming spot for thoughtfully made coffee, homemade treats, and a relaxed atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

I've only stopped at The Table once, so take this as a first impression, but it was a good one…read more I was waiting on something nearby and needed a place to camp out for a while without driving any farther. The Table came up in an app search as a coffee shop, so I stopped in for a coffee. It turned out to be much more than a coffee shop. It's a full restaurant, and that's worth knowing before you go. What stood out most was the staff. I arrived during what I think was their last hour of the day, while they were starting their pre-closing work, and they were amazingly friendly and helpful anyway. Most of us have walked into a place near closing and felt the staff thinking, "Great, now we have to dirty everything up again." This was the opposite. It felt like they were glad to see me, and it came across as genuine, which is hard to pull off in any restaurant. They let me take my time and answered a couple of questions about their coffee. The weather was decent, so I sat outside along with a lot of the other customers. They had water set out, and someone was keeping an eye on the outdoor tables. The place looked good and clean, and with the crowd that was there that day, it had a college-campus cafe feel. The only thing I'd mention is the immediate surroundings. The sidewalk where the tables sit and the parking lot right beside the building looked like they hadn't been cleaned up in a while. That isn't a knock on their building, and it may be more a product of the part of town than anything the restaurant controls. The Table isn't hard to get to, but it isn't a place you'll stumble across by accident either. Four stars reflects how little I know so far, not anything that went wrong. In my reviews, three stars means acceptable, and I don't give five lightly. I'd go back to try the food, and when I do, I'll update this review. For now, it's solidly good and worth checking out.

I came in to order to-go lunches and didn't try anything new. Still the same casual, upbeat atmosphere, with friendly service and a seasonal menu. I had the pulled pork sandwich, and my husband had the ribs. I enjoyed a flight of their beers, while my husband had a beer. Everything was delicious, and the service was great--friendly, fast, and attentive. We really enjoyed our meal and would definitely recommend stopping at Lancaster Brewing if you're in the area. But this place is much more than beer, and I can't recommend it enough. First, there is a bar completely separate from the eating area, so you can choose what experience you want. Second, I've known that all their beers are top notch, which is why I wanted to come here. I'm not an IPA guy, but the black IPA is some top notch stuff that anyone can appreciate. Not super hoppy, really well balanced. Blonde stout is another superb creation, Lancaster gets some depth into it that many other breweries can't manage. Third, if you want food, they learned from the Food Network and limited their menu to just a few choices, all excellently prepared. I ordered the Angry Mac with gator meat. It had excellent flavor, they made it spicier like I asked, and unlike most places they provided plenty of meat. Great quantity and great taste that I wasn't expecting. I tasted my friend's polenta and it was perfectly balanced with some cheese, not too salty. I could eat that for days. Finally, Eva, our waitress? Wonderful. My friend and I were weighing dessert, we wanted a brownie but not the whole hot fudge brownie sundae. Eva made it work and even split it between heated and cold. What a great server. Props to Eva! To get this quality of food, this quality of beer, this quality of service, and this quality of ambiance all in one? No wonder my friend was willing to go two days in a row. I need a Lancaster Brewing in my town.
