Slowest and most disorganized Starbucks ever. Two people in line and takes 20 min. Register left unattended. So frustrating.

My husband and I stopped by Tiger's Eye Coffee Shop, and we both loved the cozy, eclectic atmosphere. I ordered an affogato, and my husband had a salted caramel latte. Both were excellent, and you could really taste the quality of the coffee beans. I also asked about the cookies and learned that they're made by a retired neighbor, which made the experience feel even more personal and community-oriented. I loved browsing the locally made crafts throughout the café, and the unique décor gave the space so much character. There's also a chess table in the back that looked especially inviting. Tiger's Eye is a charming spot for thoughtfully made coffee, homemade treats, and a relaxed atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

The Table came up in an app search as a coffee shop, so I stopped in for a coffee. It turned out to be much more than a coffee shop. It's a full restaurant, and that's worth knowing before you go. What stood out most was the staff. I arrived during what I think was their last hour of the day, while they were starting their pre-closing work, and they were amazingly friendly and helpful anyway. Most of us have walked into a place near closing and felt the staff thinking, "Great, now we have to dirty everything up again." This was the opposite. It felt like they were glad to see me, and it came across as genuine, which is hard to pull off in any restaurant. They let me take my time and answered a couple of questions about their coffee. The weather was decent, so I sat outside along with a lot of the other customers. They had water set out, and someone was keeping an eye on the outdoor tables. The place looked good and clean, and with the crowd that was there that day, it had a college-campus cafe feel. The only thing I'd mention is the immediate surroundings. The sidewalk where the tables sit and the parking lot right beside the building looked like they hadn't been cleaned up in a while. That isn't a knock on their building, and it may be more a product of the part of town than anything the restaurant controls. The Table isn't hard to get to, but it isn't a place you'll stumble across by accident either. Four stars reflects how little I know so far, not anything that went wrong. In my reviews, three stars means acceptable, and I don't give five lightly. I'd go back to try the food, and when I do, I'll update this review. For now, it's solidly good and worth checking out.

I was on my way to my hotel, passing by starving and decided to give it a try. I understand it was a Sunday evening, not too busy the staff were a bit confused on what server had my table. Thankful for the young lady who took my order and care of my table. The entree that I ordered for dinner, wasn't the best in quality or taste. I ordered Captial Chicken.. the description read grilled chicken, pieces of crab meat , broccoli Swiss cheese, and hollandaise sauce, with two sides. The chicken in my opinion, wasn't grilled, extremely chewy , didn't really taste any crab and the holldaise sauce bland. My waitress I overheard say to the kitchen, something to the kitchen about adding paprika to the dish. Luckily I caught it, and declined. That wasn't even listed on the menu as added to the dish. May need a refresh on chicken preparation . This diner sadly wouldn't be my choice to return for an entree. Perhaps, maybe what diners are best for breakfast.

After Cinco de Mayo…read more It was a rainy day here in Harrisburg, PA. I took a job in Lancaster, but first, I needed my coffee--I think I'm addicted to it now! The day before, I had a great cup from Passenger, but today I stopped by Little Amps in downtown Harrisburg before hitting the road. The atmosphere was excellent; it reminded me of home in LA with the records playing, dim lighting, and vintage decor everywhere. I felt a bit torn, like one coffee house wanted me to stay and the other wanted me to leave, so I decided to "break myself in half" and visit both. After all, two of me is better than one! I highly rate Little Amps for the scenery. The vintage look and the outdoor seating make you feel like you're in Manhattan or Paris, giving you the vibe of three places all in one. If you haven't been to any of these spots yet, save your money and just visit Little Amps to get that "all-in-one" experience. The staff is very inviting and they do offer bagels, though I have to be honest: they aren't quite as good as New York bagels. I know New York bagels inside and out, and they know me! I hope my review helps you decide where to get your next caffeine fix.
