Happy Memorial Day. Not so If you are going to stop at the (Hill's Plaza) Starbucks.Same order as always. Venti Hot Chocolate with 3 extra pumps of Chocolate. Temp Manual 190 degrees. First try they put only 3 pumps of Mocha/Chocolate in the deink and not three extra. I go inside and say hey this is light. The apologize and remake the drink. Well they did get the Three extra pumps correct but the Hot Chocolate was only luke warm at mest. To the DM who (runs this franchise) is to busy counting their $$$ to properly train your employees. I have no complaints about the food or the drinks. However this place has been recently "remodeled" and not for the better. Gone are the comfy chairs and larger tables. The new ones are almost deliberately uncomfortable. After sitting here for about 10 minutes I feel like I have just flown a cross country flight in Spirit (which I have actually done) This seems to be the trend across Starbucks everywhere. It appears to be a deliberate effort to make the customers leave faster. I keep seeing stores being "remodeled", at times shrinking in size and stiff wooden chairs replacing leather comfortable ones. As a loyal customer for 25+ years I feel like the company is loosing its way. If I am going to pay $9 for a cup of coffee at least make it a pleasant experience and not just an overpriced McDonalds. Also I am tired of the way Starbucks makes me upload $ to my app/card in specific increments rather than than just letting directly me pay the actual amount of my order. I know why this is done too: this way whatever the few dollars that each of your millions of customers have left over after making an online order are effectively put into Starbucks bank accounts until the customer makes another purchase. This in effect makes Starbucks a financial institution. I know that Starbucks earning are down and I would urge the company to address these issues before more customers realize that putting $10 on their account to order a $9 coffee is almost as ridiculous as paying $9 for a coffee only to sit in a chair that may require a visit to the chiropractor afterwards. read more

This is probably the best Starbucks of all time. Coffee is always piping hot, tastes good (aka not burnt), and the people who work here are really professional and efficient. Only downside is that it's always really busy so order ahead with plenty of time to spare on your trip here. Oh and parking is miserable. Go behind and park behind the building it's less stressful. Ok actually there's not a lot of space in this Starbucks so that's also a downside - don't expect to have space to work. We all know that all Starbucks are not created equal. With that being said, I just had the best service at the one on 32nd and trindle in Camp Hill. I asked for a customized drink to lower the hell pile of carbs and sugars normally found in there menu drinks. The barista was not only happy about it but even made suggestions to improve it. I come here when I'm working in Camphill and I always have a pleasant experience. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They're willing to answer and drink questions when I'm feeling wild and want to try something other than my usual. Today was one of those days. I was hot and thirsty and wanted some refreshment and they pointed me to an iced green tea latte. It was wonderful. I love green tea but never thought of it served this way! I also grabbed a sandwich. The location of this Starbucks is a good spot in the morning. The sun shines in brightly and really warms the ambiance. I don't come here too often, so I can't say how recent the remodel is but this isn't the same setup that I saw a few months ago for sure. The ordering area and pickup areas have flip-flopped so be prepared for that if you haven't stopped by in a while. It looks really good, though. It seems brighter and more open. In spite of a long line, the baristas were cranking out the orders super fast so my wait wasn't too bad and my drink was made perfectly. My only issue is the waiting line when there's a lot of people inside, as you have to mingle the "I haven't ordered yet" line with the "I'm waiting on my order" line and a new customer walking in might not know where to stand. read more

I finished it, and I went to go chomp on the ice like usual, and disturbingly TWO gnats with wings and legs fully in contact within my pumpkin cold foam. I am extremely disappointed to say the least. Probably my most visited Starbucks, the drinks are always right and the atmosphere is nice. They have a bunch of tables, chairs and sofa's and being on the corner looking out the windows enjoying your coffee is always relaxing. This place is conveniently located but a pity to find parking during the busier hours. A few times I rolled in to the parking lot, was unable to find a spot then just left. Barns and nobles right next door sells Starbucks coffee but doesn't have all the same drinks. read more

I frequent this Starbucks when I'm in the area and I must say that I've had better experiences. This one seems to be hit or miss as to whether or not you'll get a good drink. I've had really awesome coffee's from here and I've also had terrible ones. Some of the staff is very rude and slow. One time when I was there with my sisters, an employee actually had the nerve to call her muffin after he'd already messed up her $5 coffee! It's okay for a coffee place, but it can be rather loud if you're there trying to have a conversation. As for the location, it's convenient but a little tricky to get to if you're not familiar with the area. And parking can be a disaster if you're going during the busier times (aka morning, lunch time and afternoon rush hours). Another perk is their hours. This is not my regular Starbucks but due to a schedule change it is necessary for me to stop at this Starbucks for several weeks. I was not happy with the service yesterday, and came back again today. There is a cashier named Vitaly and he is awful. Yesterday he was silly and talkative with only his co workers. He was very distracted and his service was terrible. He didn't listen to the orders. Today he was not pleasant but very distracted. The only Starbucks I could find on the west shore that was open past 9PM. On Fridays and Saturdays they are open till 11, every other day of the week 10. I don't know what it is about coffee shops that don't understand that the two reasons for people drinking , is to wake up, or stay awake. Both of which require early morning and late evening time frames. Moving on. A location in Camp Hill right off Rt 15 and Trindle Rd. It can be a little tricky to get to if you are traveling North because you will need to turn early or late to come up from behind it, but other than that this is a nice little spot. Sitting on a corner of an old Pier 1 the inside has a good amount of tables and comfy chairs. Also they have seats set up outside for nice evenings. This is the best Starbucks I have ever gone/been to. I work at Chipotle right next door, and I have earned my Starbucks Gold Member status because of this place. It is safe to say I go 3-5 times a week, whether it be to run orders from chipotle or to just relax before a shift. These employees are FABULOUS. They take the effort to get to know each customer, and they are very efficient. Considering it is the busiest Starbucks in the area and makes the most revenue, I am very pleased with my experience every time I go. They make the effort to learn your name if you go enough, and they have memorized EACH order of my Chipotle crew- so whenever I go down to get someone their drink, all I have to do is tell them their name and it's done. The employees here make an effort to accommodate whatever you want, and will ensure that what you receive is good. I have witnessed this and experienced this myself firsthand.They are generous and nice people, which makes for an equally nice time. For seating, though, it can get very crowded very quickly, especially during the winter when the weather is too gross and cold to sit outside. The summer, though, is a totally different story- the deck opens, people are dispersed both inside and out, and it makes for a very welcoming atmosphere. The staff is super nice, but... considering how long it takes to get a drink, maybe add a few more of them? It is rare that I will make it out of there in less than 25 minutes for 1 drink. The line to wait is also awfully confusing for everyone, as you don't know which way the line should turn, and there's not clear indication of where to stand. This proves to be even more inconvenient and awkward as you stand near the entryway for your drinks. Not only are you cold from the door draft, but every single person that comes in the door gives you a rude look for being in their way. As you watch the workers make drinks, you slowly get excited that yours could be next, only to realize it's only for mobile orders, which is ridiculous.
