This is location is a Drive-Thru ONLY...it's like one of those old-fashioned photo mat kiosks plopped in the middle of a little parking lot. Located on the Northwest corner of Dysart & McDowell, this Starbucks sits next to an Auto Zone store. You can either walk up to the window on one side or drive your car through the Drive-Thru lane while someone hands you an overpriced coffee drink from a window...honestly, if you want to be served quickly, the Drive-Thru seems to ALWAYS be a priority at any Starbucks. Why the two-stars? Well, I chose to park my car & walk-up to the window, I only wanted a plain cup of coffee, nothing fancy, I like to add my own cream... I saw five Baristas tripping over each other...there were only three cars in the Drive-Thru...maybe someone ordered like a hundred Frappuccinos?? I dunno, I don't think I've ever seen five employees working at a regular Starbucks... Anyhow, no one ever acknowledged me...(sigh!) I guess I need to stop wearing that invisible Harry Potter cloak again and bring my own cowbell or horn for service. Super convenient, I typically stop by on my way to school. Drive thru is so much faster even if you're doing order ahead since I think they prioritize it. I gave it 4 stars because if you get off the car (even with order ahead) they always have me waiting 8-10 minutes. For my drink so I learned drive thru is better at this location. read more

My Favorite Spot I have to admit I love my coffee and I always stop at this Starbucks store. I realize there are many Starbucks locations. However, this location is my favorite. This location is clean and feels comfortable. I usually get a latte or frappe. My coffee is always made the way I order and tastes great. In addition, to great coffee Starbucks has delicious pastries if you need a snack. Great coffee, snacks, and customer service. What more could you ask for. read more

I have been coming to this location for years because it's on my work. I wish there was a different one I could go to. Who wants to wait in line whether it's drive thru or walk up. This is THE best Starbucks. The service is always fast whether you go through the drive thru or walk up to the window. I go a few times a week and they always remember me and joke around with me as if we've known each other forever. The coffee is always good (I'm from Seattle, I know good coffee..), the food is typical Starbucks food (sandwiches, bagels, sugary treats!) and the staff is really just amazing. They never mess up my drink, unlike the Starbucks down the road, which is why I'll drive the extra couple minutes just to come here! This location is mainly a drive thru location. You can walk up to the window, but you can't go inside. Convenient if you're driving through town and need a quick pick me up. OR...if you just want someone to smile at you. ;) read more

I always get 5 star service here. I'm most often there when I stop by and get a coffee on the way to the farmers market early Saturday mornings and it's almost always busy! Luckly, busy doesn't seem to matter the employees always have a smile and are ready for a quick chat while you order or wait. Worst experience ever. I sometimes come to the Starbucks in passing and I love their fast speedy service. But today when I got to the window after placing my one drink order Mandy insisted that I paid a price way over than what I am used to. My drink on cost 3.47 and she wanted me to pay $15 and some change when I explain to her that's probably not my order she got really upset and frustrated like I was a bother! When asking her name because she was not wearing a name tag she rolled her eyes and said Mandy if that is even her name. The manager should really look into the staff here very unprofessional and very poor hygiene of "Mandy " by appearance. read more

Seriously, least friendly Starbucks staff ever. Never had more issues than I do coming here. They never mix the sweetener in with the tea, they just pour the tea over the sweetener that's already in the cup. If this wasn't the closest Starbucks to me that I could ride my bike to, I would stop coming here. Update* Now this is the second time I had this particular issue with this location. I mobile ordered my tea and sandwich today at 12:30 which was around 15 mins before I actually needed it, because it's happened before where I go, and I end up waiting another 10-15 mins for them to actually finish the order. So I arrive around 10:40 and I wait at the window for about 5 mins for them to even come up to the window and open it. I tell him I have a mobile order and he says they are still working on it....(um, I ordered it 15 mins ago and it's a black tea and sandwich) he then comes back with my tea and sends me off. I tell him I also had a sandwich. He goes back and I wait and wait.. I end up leaving at exactly 12:51, more than 20 mins later from originally placing my order. They definitely need to figure out a better way to handle the mobile orders, because it's unacceptable and now this is the second time this location made me late to work. This is usually my go to location morning and afternoon but today I had a not so friendly customer service lady. First she asked what I wanted at the drive thru which were only 2 drinks then when we got to the window she gives us only one drink and shut the window right away. We sat for 2-3 minutes still in the drive Thru before she opened the window to ask if we were waiting for something. We were waiting for our other drink obviously. She didn't say sorry and said we didn't charge you for it. When we finally got the drink, she shut the window immediately and starts talking with the other workers. I've never had any problems with Starbucks my boyfriend and I love Starbucks! However today we had a Mobil order like usual and my boyfriend had gone to pick it up. They completely forgot to give him a drink so he had to go back and just to find out when we looked at the bag they forgot CREAM CHEESE for the BAGEL! I'm not sure who eats a bagel without cheese but no one I know. My boyfriend is a healthcare worker and I work from home so no one had time to go back twice. I called and spoke to MONICA and let her know they should check the orders better especially if people are paying for service. She sounded like she was bored and completely did not care. I understand that there are WAY bigger problems in the world. I had accepted that I would not be eating the food I payed money for. I was simply looking for her to acknowledge the mistake and maybe apologize. I have worked in the food industry previously and I don't understand how you would not make an effort to fix the problem, suggest a solution, or offer an apology. I just hope next time is better. This is the third time I have gone to this location wanting a particular drink and they are sold out. This is the closest drive thru location, and are quite busy at all hours. I had no intentions of stopping by or into for that matter, a Starbucks yesterday. Well, I wound up here and I'm glad I did. I did the drive thru thing which was new to me since I didn't even know this location was a walk-up or drive-thru only place. Anyways, I pulled up and was greeted by the most friendly Starbucks employee I've ever met, Michael. He was either new to people driven by caffeine and sugary drinks or he was genuinely a nice person. Either way, I was offered free chocolate chips on top of my drink because the one I ordered (their new dark cherry and chocolate coffee--iced, blended, or hot) was the same one he likes. He was patient with me as I took the order from my mumbling front seat passenger who's idea it was to stop for coffee that he just "had to have" (see also, "boyfriend"). We pulled up to the window and paid. He was just as friendly to our faces as he'd been to our voices over the little speakerbox. There was a wait since my boyfriend ordered something that took longer to make and he assured us it was on its way, though we didn't mind waiting. I would call this location, "my starbucks". I frequent Starbucks about three times per week but the funny part is I only drink the iced tea. I love this starbucks because of its location which is about a mile north off the I-10 on Dysart rd. I also like how its an "express" location because it means people, like myself, just want to get a drink and go. I don't really care for the coffee shop experience, so this place is great for me. This Starbucks location is in a prime area but the small parking lot is always crowded. The line is longer in the morning but goes faster than a 4 car line in the afternoon. The staff seems irritated at all times of the day. I usually drive the extre 2-3 miles to have a better experience and services at the McDowell location near 99th ave. read more

So this morning I went on a road trip and before I left I said "I could use a Starbucks for my 3 hour drive" so I drove by and I ordered a caramel macchiato my favorite!
