This Starbucks location nails my drinks every time -- ordering in person or on the app is quick, easy, and correct, no matter how many customized drinks my family gets, which we know can be a gamble sometimes. Even my pup gets excited when we pull up, knowing he'll get a delicious pup cup treat. Whether you're rolling through the drive thru or popping inside (there's tons of parking) to sit at one of the tables inside and enjoy a break with a pastry and warm beverage, service has been friendly and fast, regardless of the time of day. Stopped in for a Chai Latte , and a slice of lemon loaf ( cake ) surprisingly they acknowledged me soon , usually the crew is only focused on drive through customers, in about four minutes after placing my order, I got both items, my Chai was perfect, and the lemon loaf unpredictably good.. the Cafe is spacious, plenty of seats, as usual though the Music is too loud.. ! read more

"Someone will be right with you..." Should be the motto for this location. To be fair that should be Starbucks' motto at every single location these days, but this place is fairly emblematic of what a typical "third place" experience is at what used to be a reliable coffee shop. It takes forever for anyone to get to you. Then, once you've ordered, you'll be forgiven if the service takes so long you start asking yourself... "Did...did I order? WAS anyone with me? Did I imagine that? Should I go back and order again?" My last two visits went something like this... Visit 1 (pre Thanksgiving): It took ten minutes to get me an iced grande apple crisp oat milk shaken espresso...when I was the only customer INSIDE. I don't really know what has happened to this once venerable coffee institution, but going to one is just incredibly tedious. Visit 2 (Post Thanksgiving): About ten people inside scattered about. Two people in line. I order a tall cold brew, black, with nothing added...and it was somewhere between 15-20 minutes. Seriously...what the hell? read more

Why does it take 10 minutes to order in person and wait for one drink while 3 or 4 cars go through the drive thru during that time and get multiple orders. There was no one in the store ahead of me (or behind me). In person orders should take priority! read more

The ambiance was actually the first thing I notice I was like "wait this Starbucks is so cute and clean" !!! And then I took my time ordering my food, and the girls were so patient with me! I got the potato, cheddar, and chive baked they were like a 7/10 but good!!! And then like ten minutes later I came back for coffee and wanted to redeem points but misunderstood what I could get and the girls (there's a guy here now too) were again SO patient and helpful! Great customer service, super friendly and welcoming. I love that Georgetown has a Starbucks. I can shop at Walmart and go to Starbucks and get a hot chocolate to get rid of my winter blues. This Starbucks store is bright and colorful and makes a great community hang out with Delaware Tech and Wilmington University around the corner. read more

Ordered a quad espresso with extra vanilla sweet cream foam and the foam was discolored and tasted very weird, not good at all. I came back to have it remade, and so they did which wasn't an issue but the barista's didn't acknowledge me for the first 3min. Anyways, the remade drink tasted horrible. I called to let them know, thinking maybe someone made the sweet cream wrong. Turns out they're using brown sugar syrup instead of vanilla to make the sweet cream. I'm very disappointed that they were not informing customers who ordered it. It's a very big difference in color and in taste. I will not be coming here again. I am also a current starbucks partner and using brown sugar is an awful substitute. Try classic or sugar free vanilla next time. read more

Did not have a great experience the past 2 times I went. The first time, I waited in the drive thru for about 10 minutes and then the second time I went inside ordered my drink and was told they were understaffed so it would be a while. Stood there for a little and was given the wrong drink. I took it anyway because I had to go to work. This place is to expensive for orders to be wrong. I went here not knowing at all what I wanted to drink. The staff were very helpful in finding me things to try. I ended up getting and drink and a snack and both were very good. Stopped in on a 3 hour drive home - nice place, nice staff, but really dirty. I was 1 of only 5 customers in the whole place - they had 5 staff behind the counter - most of the tables had not been wiped - the counters all had coffee or whatever spills and the bathrooms looked like had not been cleaned for days. Not sure why they didn't have 1 or 2 of the staff walk out to check that type of stuff when they are just standing around chatting. read more
