Action speaks louder than words, and I didn't see any improvements during my visit. We went to Rise Up Coffee because of said nice looking Instagram posts, and wanted to try their coffee offerings that sounded great. Upon entering, the staff at the register was immediately off-putting... no emotions, no welcoming, just cold interaction. I asked about one of their seasonal drinks, and he just responded short and curt, without even looking up at me. The whole ordering process was the same, didn't feel that our business was appreciated in any way. The staffs were more interested in having a loud interaction and funny conversation with each other than paying attention to customers. I also witnessed one of the older female customer trying to say to them "good coffee" as she was leaving, and they didn't bother to look at her nor acknowledge her nice, positive comment. The coffee took a while to be made, even though it was not busy at all there. The seasonal drink I ordered was a bit too sweet, didn't taste any special than any flavored coffee you get from anywhere else. Definitely NOT a coffee shop I want to go back to, NOT the kind of business I want to support.
