I've visited this location a few times and just now realizing I've never left a review. The staff here is always pleasant and friendly, which always surprises me (because it's a big chain i.e. Starbucks) but I truly appreciate it. One young woman working behind the counter was so nice and talked to my baby girl which put a smile both her and my face. My drinks have always come out correct. Love all of the non-dairy cold foam options. Plus, since I'm a mom now I love how convenient it is to order online and have my drink ready when I arrive so that I can just pick it up in the drive thru. I dined in a handful of times (before baby) to work on my laptop or just to chat with my husband for a quick lunch date. The WiFi is strong and the noise level is good. We have been stopping here while commuting between Florida and Georgia. Small location, friendly staff, accurate order preparation. It was chilly and we all ate our sandwiches and enjoyed our beverages inside. I felt sorry that they couldn't serve brewed coffee drinks due to machinery issues. I honestly cannot say that I am a fan of Starbucks. However, a lot of business clients want me to meet them one of these locations. I guess I can say that I am not the biggest fan of coffee, however, it is still hard to justify the prices they charge for a cup of coffee. From the amount of people in this location, many disagree with my opinion. That is certainly okay. The service here was relatively friendly and professional. We were together a coffee and sit down and quickly go over some business. Overall, I guess I will close this by saying that if you are a fan of Starbucks, this will be the experience that you expect. Very consistent Starbucks with an OK amount of parking considering its location. The drinks and food are consistent at every location, so this review is more about the service and the logistics of the location. This location is located in Butler Plaza and has plenty of ways to get in and out of - parking is adequate during mornings but I'd imagine it gets limited during the times the other stores in the plaza open up. This location is incredibly busy at all hours, and even all of the seating is usually taken. For a huge coffee chain, I'm not surprised that this location has a lot of business, but it's been like this for years and there has been no improvements. You can easily wait in the drive-thru for twenty minutes, or wait twenty minutes to receive your drink after putting in your order at the register. Due to these reasons, I have tried to place an order on the app, but this location has disabled online orders, so you must wait in line. As a result, the store is often unorganized and dirty. There have been several occasions where coffee drips/stains have been all over the counter with napkins/straws/milk. Often times, their milk containers are empty, so you'll have to wait for an employee to appear free (they won't be free) to refill the containers. Students often come here to study, but there is not enough seating to accommodate; even the outdoor seating is often full. If you are looking to have a coffee date, this may not be the best place. If you're just getting your coffee run, I have found no issues with the taste of their drinks. read more

I actually enjoy visiting this Starbucks on Archer Road. It seems to always be filled with people and the service has always been fast and efficient despite the busy-ness of this location. It is nicely decorated with wall art of the old University of Florida and cool light fixtures that create a nice ambience for its patrons. The staff is friendly and are usually pretty quick with getting ordered in and out. They changed the seating layout and now 1 person studying will take up 2 tables and 4 chairs.. if they separated the tables a bit better or brought back the one large tables with multiple seats, I would appreciate that. The coffee is consistent and flavorful. I really do not understand why they stop selling blonde roast after 11am though.. they claim it's because no one ordered it after then.. but, I consistently try to order it and my colleagues consistently try to order it.. let's fight for an extension to the blonde roast! #BlondeRoastAllDay Price okay and the restaurant is clean and tidy, besides the restrooms. The coffee must run through these folks and destroy it every hour.. I visited the Starbucks in archer road this morning near celebration point. we went in ordered a couple drinks and food with friends, we had to wait awhile which was not the problem , we had no problem waiting and totally understand when it's busy in the morning. the only problem was the cashier missed a order from us. I believe her name was Madison. She was pretty rude about it and told us we would need to pay for the food she had to remake. She rudely said to us "no, no, no, that's someones food" when we checked to see if we had missed it. when she redid our food she was talking about us loudly where I could hear it and was just staring at us. we had to pay for it which I understand but, the way she handled it was unprofessional. Everyone else behind the counter was very kind and sweet, they also checked on us to make sure we had everything. read more

This Starbucks always gets the job done. I come here when I need to be productive. It is conveniently located on Archer Road. There is always plenty of parking and most of the time it is not too crowded. I like how it is open late. Most coffee shops in the area close at around 6-7pm which is way too early when I need to study. The drinks are standard. They are pretty good, but obviously not top notch like other coffee shops in the area. I really enjoy getting a doppio with a pump of caramel. It is the closest thing on the menu to a Cuban coffee. The service is a little slow, but the baristas are helpful and nice most of the time. It gets really cold in here so make sure to bring a sweater. The wifi is reliable and there are many outlets if you sit at the large table. This Starbucks is a comfortable place to go to be productive. You don't have to worry about it being cash only, not having parking, or having limits on your wifi. It is like the comfy pair of flats in your closet; familiar, ordinary, but good for everyday life. No Instagram photo ops here. Save those for your Louboutins. read more

This is one of the worst Starbucks I've been to (although I go to it quite often because of the location). The customer service is terrible and there is ALWAYS a long wait. The drive through line is insane and the line inside isn't much better. There's also barely any seating. This location needs far more employees to keep up with the traffic. Expect a 10 min minimum wait for an iced coffee, 15 min for anything else. All things aside, it's Starbucks so the coffee is always great. read more

Iam Not writing this for anyone to get in trouble, but I ordered in the drive through for a drink asked for no whip cream extra caramel and extra crunch in my ribbon crunch. The first drink was perfect, literally perfect. But it had whip cream. Anytime I have too much whole milk I get extreme shits. I never catch an attitude about things like this. I just asked her to just wipe it off because I knew the second one wouldn't be made with any love. I watched the barista with two ponytails and ginger hair look at the drink and read the details as if I being picky and got a lil upset. I saw the cashier TELL her she didn't have to remake it. But she remade it anyway and the second one of course had two drops of crunches and a light drizzle caramel. Very nice and open Starbucks with plenty of seating and even though it was busy the flow was pretty fast. It's convenient off the 75 if you're traveling or headed to work. It was pretty clean and and they actually have a very stocked selection of pastries even some that have been discontinued at several locations like the Almond Croissant. Description: I'm not one to write reviews for places like Starbucks but I go here so much to study that it almost seems required. Every time I have been here, it's been a pleasant visit. The baristas are very friendly and seem to enjoy their jobs. I usually only order a small caramel iced coffee with half and half but it is always made the way I like it. Food & Service: I've definitely been to nicer looking Starbucks before but this one does the job. I can usually find a place to study whether it be outside, at a small table, or the big table, although during the Fall and Spring it can get quite crowded and annoying when you can't find a place to study. Final Thoughts: Overall, I don't see a reason why I won't keep coming here to get work done. My only complaint would be their hours go until midnight now instead of 1am and there aren't enough tables, but I don't think that's under their direct control. read more

This is my favorite Starbucks in Gainesville! It has a bunch of seating, outlets, extended hours, and a drive thru! It is also conveniently located on Archer Road, so I like to stop by and pick up some coffee when I run my errands on that side of town. Another advantage is the giant parking lot and if you get hungry studying, there are restaurants within walking distance. On another note, I wouldn't really recommend this Starbucks to study for long periods of time. It seems to be the ideal place for socials and meetings. The reason I say that is because it is always loud and people watching can get distracting. I would recommend coming here late at night, less people and everyone seems to be focused on getting things done. The inside of the Starbucks is very clean and the interior is decorated very nicely. The service is reliable and they have a lot of employees making drinks and taking orders. The employees are actually very nice when the place isn't busy. When they are busy, they try to get all of the drinks out in order to keep traffic from building up. read more

Ah, Starbucks. One of my guilty pleasures. Always the same Venti sized Chi tea latte, with a shot of espresso, 2 pumps of vanilla, made with soy! Just the thought makes my heart warm and my eye twitch. This location is not my favorite. They are slower than the Newberry road store, and have gotten my order right one out of 4 visits. With that said... It's on my way to work and I will be visiting them again, and again, and again. I think you see the trend here. The baristas are pleasant but are definitely overworked, and the bathroom is frequently on the messy side from overuse. There's some outside seating, but because of the foot traffic it's not that pleasant in my opinion. When I arrived this morning, the drive thru line was long so I actually went into the store. The man at the counter was very friendly and knowledge--he described a couple of the holiday drinks for me. We got the toasted white chocolatier mocha and a hot coffee with pumpkin. Their pumpkin is the best. And the toasted white chocolate mocha may be my favorite holiday drink! The coffee tasted perfect, exactly how I ordered.
