This was in my drink. When called to ask if they where missing it they said no. Lol idk weird. Not sure how this wasn't noticed.

Meh lol gross. Trashy that they never noticed it:( No apology just oh come for refund and hung up . No thanks

Pink drink

I've been coming to this branch (Fridley) for many years and I have never been disappointed with the service and the taste and quality of my orders when I received them, until this happened (see picture). This pink drink was mixed very poorly. It had no taste (unless you call watery a taste). It looked so watered-down and it was also missing some ingredients. I'm all for equal opportunity employment, but, the 16 and 17 year old crew they have in that branch needs some serious adult supervision, you know, someone that actually focuses on what they were doing. As I was waiting for my three drinks being made and my car windows rolled down, I could hear the three girls inside laughing and talking about the latest videos they saw, you know, instead of focusing on the actual job at hand. I was very disappointed. If there wasn't a construction going on around this branch, which makes it a hassle to drive back there to voice my complaint, I would have. If you live around the Fridley Starbucks branch, do not waste your money there.

I paid for it too.

I never got my coffee or birthday sandwich yesterday, June 25th they said they never received it ... even though i paid for everything & it went through correctly. I didn't have the time when she (employee) told me in a caring way "we never got the order". she did not offer my money back. prolly cuz they never received it. it was a bummer trip for me !!! it seems like your employees have no power to make on the spot refunds. or no way to track what happened in your infrastructures. it was hurtful for the nonchalantly of the whole ordeal.

So slow, no matter what time of day. I don't know if they are just continuously short staffed but it has been like this for months.

Meanwhile the staff greets you with a kind smile that makes you feel welcomed in. I had the Ube Latte and the mixed Momo platter. The Ube Latte is well balanced between sweet Ube flavor and coffee and cream. The mixed momo platter comes with meat filled and potato filled dumplings that come with a spicy sauce for dipping. They are perfectly plump, warm and delicious and lend themselves well to a cold day. Absolutely recommend this hidden neighborhood gem if you're in the area (or even if you're not! It's worth it!)

They had a few cute items for sale, like momo merch, stickers and more. I got the black sesame latte which was strong but good. We also ordered potato and chive momos and they were decent. I think it could have used a bit more flavor, a bit starchy tasting. But the soy sauce helps a tiny bit. Would for sure come back to check out more. I was a bit shocked that they had to put signs on some of the lower tables for people to not put their feet on them. In a cafe/food establishment that should be common sense but I definitely get it. As it was busy it was a bit loud but I really like the vibes and aesthetic of this cafe!

Especially since the cafe is music themed with cute coasters inspired by vinyls and the cafe itself is the ambiance of an old school studio. Service is relaxed and friendly and the drinks came out nice and pretty. My Brown Sugar Banana Latte which I got cold tasted very faintly of banana and more of brown sugar which was a little disappointing, but my partner's sweet potato latte was very enjoyable served hot. Both drinks were on the sweeter side which is fine but not my preference. Would I go back? Probably not, but I can see someone who enjoys their coffee sweet to go out of their way to Get Down Coffee.

It says drive thru, but there was nobody serving at the drive thru when we tried to go there. There is some indoor seating, maybe 10 tables or so. It was not super busy when we were there, but it was after what I would consider the Sunday rush. Service was quick and polite. Iced Cold press with heavy cream (you could also have it with half and half) - very good, good coffee flavor Hot Vanilla latte - they only had three sugar-free options, caramel, raspberry, and one other I can't remember, so I went with regular Vanilla. It was very good. The first couple of sips were very sweet, I think because they didn't mix it well so all of the vanilla syrup was sitting on top. Once I got it mixed in it was much better. The temperature was good, it was quite hot, but not so much that it burned my mouth. Overall a good experience, we will be back. The only reason for four stars instead of five is because the drive thru wasn't open.

They have a few staple flavors like the breakfast waffle, Nutella & strawberries n cream. I could be wrong but I think the other flavors may be seasonal? We went with 3 breakfast, a Peaches n Cream and Key Lime waffle. They were all delish! For sips-we had the seasonal Blended Earl Blue (shake makes with Earl Blue tea), an iced Dirty Chai (Chai with espresso shots added) and I had requested a past coffee special of Cardamom honey latte (yep-hot. I know it's 99 degrees outside but this makes momma like hot coffee for the first one to start the day!) Oh! And a kids mango smoothie for the little tyke! It seemed like there was only 1 gal working-for ordering, making all the food and drinks. She seemed shocked that we wanted 5 waffles. I had to explain we haven't breakfasted yet (I know, I know! I'm a terrible mom that hasn't fed her kids at 11am already!) while our order was probably much larger than average, and she was the ONLY one working- she did a stellar job of getting it out. FYI- both times I've been here, those Nordic eats take awhile. So maybe don't come to try one unless you have time to wait for them to be handcrafted. The place is roomy with lots of seating inside, a few outside spots but like literally- two- A patio table and a loveseat. They also rotate local art on the walls, have a few local made bracelets and body scrubs, a great billboard for local advertising, 2 Unisex bathroom (1 with baby changing table!), an enclosed kid toy room with 2 comfy chairs for mommas to sip their coffee while the tots play. On top of all the above, my coffee was perfection to boot! I wish I could give it more STARS!
