Coffee for team.
Louie N.

I have visited this location a few times recently and the actual baristas are ok but the product has been sub par. They do not know how to make a dirty chai even after u tell them how u want it. It's still watery. Today I ordered 2 coffee travelers. The cashier stated it would take a bit. Order was taken at 12:23pm and I did not receive it til 12:52pm. I have gone to other locations plus Dunkin Donuts and ordered the same item and out in less time. It wasn't until I told the "supervisor" the guy preparing my order needed help plus I gotta go to work that he got sum assistance. Really? She didn't see he was moving too slow?? Good Lordt. Last time going here. I should have refrained from leaving $2 tip.

VENTI.....VIDI.....VICI (I CAME, I SAW, I BOUGHT A COFFEE) It's yet another excuse to let S-Bux in your life, but at least their breakfast items are tasty. Although not the closest location to my work, I've stopped at this Starbucks on Mannheim enough times to acquire a Dukedom and appreciate the friendly staff here. The drive-thru can get busy during morning hours; I've had faster service at the counter. Their sous vide egg bites are damn good, especially the ones with bacon & gruyere (2 for $4). I've also tried a breakfast sandwich made with shoulder bacon ($3.75), unfortunately the bread seemed microwaved with a fake rubbery egg. A ham & cheese croissant ($3.25) is always reliable. Staff is usually nice. On my first visit, they totally forgot about the white peach tea I'd ordered.....and wound up giving me an extra chocolate croissant. A happy mistake, or intentional gesture of kindness? The world may never know, but I appreciated the bonus treat. Now that I've checked off a review for this place, I probably won't return since there's roughly 647 Starbucks within walking distance of where I live, and their sh*t is invariably expensive.

I'm really happy the customer service at this location has IMPROVED BY A LOT! Seeing my former students working here makes my heart so happy. The baristas are friendly and I can definitely see they are trying to be more hipster like in the city. It's pretty adorable. It's nice going to a place where they remember you, maybe not be name but by drink and will ask how your day is going. I recently was injured so for the moment I'm on crutches- Tammy saw me and immediately ran to open the door. I thought that was super sweet!! She even went the extra mile and grabbed my macchiato and walked me to my car!! How fantastic was that?! Thank you Franklin Park location- you have improved and have fantastic baristas that actually care about their customers. Thank you Tammy for lending me a hand!

Took the drive thru and You can clearly see on the label that I asked for "LIGHT ICE" (Venti Match Green Tea Lemonade) I took a few sip and my drink is already done due to TOO MUCH ice. You can see it's passed the top first black line. Light is supposed to be BELOW THE LAST LINE. The drink is amazing just wish I could enjoy it more and longer than just a few sips. Next time I will say NO ICE.....

Drive thru.

Was really dirty and run down. I think they need to invest in new furniture and paint the place.

Typical Starbucks. The drink came out as I asked for. Easy to pass up if not paying attention and wasn't too busy when we got there.

Upon entering on a Sunday afternoon, it was quiet, the music was nice and the staff was on par with their service. I was serviced with smiles and generosity. The two women helped me pick the perfect pastry to go along side my lavender chai latte and regular chai latte, which was a gluten free vegan Ube muffin topped with cinnamon sugar. They warm the pastry up for me which definitely made it better. I maybe spent $15 for two drinks and a pastry which was phenomenal considering other places would have been higher in price. I'll definitely be returning to try other pastries and enjoy the large space the cafe has.

Usually specialty drinks can be expensive in nice coffee shops like this, but it only came out to a bit over 5 dollars. It was so amazing, sweet without being too sweet, and the perfect ube flavor for someone relatively uninitiated with the purple root. It also came out super quick, I could see them working on it while I finished ordering! The employees are all very kind, one of them complimented my wallet and I love compliments so it just set the tone for a great day. I got a seat by the window. There is plenty of natural light in here and plenty of great vibes. About 7 tables in the main area, a couch, and a big table in a room towards the back. Also, a big mural and lots of plants. Really fun and artsy environment. They were selling t-shits and merch which all looked cool and had nice designs. Once I become a regular here (which I now intend on!) I think I will definitely have to get a shirt or hoodie. I noticed there aren't many reviews yet for here which leads me to believe it is not as popular as it deserves to be. But guys, you gotta come, or you're missing out!

I really liked the assortment of cakes, pies, cookies and more available and will certainly be back again.. and again. A suggestion: While I was intrigued by the sandwich board I had no way to know what the sandwich would look like. Bread? pandora? Ciabatta? 6", 8", 10", 12"... or bread loaf slices? So my suggestion is they get some photos taken or make a few sandwiches wrapped and ready to grab n go. Make one of each and see what sells. I'd use sandwiches as a way to bring in customers who will then purchase a pastry or cookie.. or come back when they need something sweet. sorry, no photos... pastries were gone too fast and they were delicious.

It's a great little coffee shop (gaming is in a separate room) with fun options like horchata lattes in addition to a variety of coffees and teas. They also have donuts and some very good empanadas! Best of all? This place is open late, ADA friendly (easy to nav with a walker or wheelchair, variety of seating options, big roomy bathroom, etc), and 100% dog friendly. Most places your dog is only welcome on an outside patio. Ashley's Cafe welcomes your pup indoors. When I entered there was no one there but the owner. I decided to order Bodega Combo #3 with an upgrade to a Horchata. I was told there were no Columbian empanadas (Bodega combo # 2) so that is what led me to order the other. I swear it took the owner 15 - 20 minutes to make both the empanadas and horchata. The empanadas were frozen, not fresh, and placed in an air fryer. The drink made had tons of ice and just as much cinnamon. Personally, there was no balance. I did not enjoy it. The empanada choices: are spinach & artichoke, chicken, and vegetarian. The best was the vegetarian, then the chicken followed by the spinach and artichoke. In my honest opinion, for an $11.50 meal, you would have been better off grabbing a $3 bag of tostinos pizza rolls and coke from the dollar tree and being more filled and satisfied. I was not impressed and I honestly believe that the space has so much more potential to draw in a larger crowd if the food choices were improved.
