The whole experience at this location was great! Today's visit was concerning drive thru, and there were quite a few cars in front of me which had me a little worried. I wasn't sure if it would be slow like the location closest to me (always 20 minute wait in drive thru no matter what day). But there was no need to worry! The baristas got everyone drinks out the window and moved everyone right along! My strawberry açaí was delicious as I hoped! My daughter ordered a pumpkin spice frap and she didn't like it, she said it was too much pumpkin spice and not enough sweetness. That's okay, she wanted to try a holiday drink and now she knows. Horrific wait times using the drive thru. This store is inefficient. Being possibly understaffed is one thing. However, if customers in line are requesting large custom tailored orders, the store should be prepared to have the customer pull up so the line a can continue to move. 75% of the time I come here the lines wrap towards the street and clog up the pathway towards the other stores. I'm actually over waiting anymore and given up coming here. The purpose of a drive thru is to be quick and efficient. I just sat for 15 minutes trapped in line while watching a girl in a Tesla receive a massive order of an assortment of different flavored blended drinks. It's like they only had one functioning blender in there. Common sense would say let's have her pull up and get the line out. I sat there stuck watching the many drinks come out one at a time over 15 minutes. I drove off right behind that customer and won't be coming back. $8 coffee ain't worth it. read more

Bought two hot chocolates here and evening a couple nights before Christmas. We were getting ready to go on our Christmas lights tour. Yearly tradition. Both cups of hot chocolate tasted like hot water. NO FLAVOR AT ALL. Paid at the drive through, made sure to pre tip, as this seems to help get a better tasting product. Instead we got brown hot water. Threw them both away went to Scooters. Starbucks used to have universally the best hot chocolate. Last year was mediocre, this year was throw the away. I ordered a venti dragon fruit with extra fruit and the barista handed me a drink with exactly one piece of fruit in it which is less than a normal dragon fruit drink anyway...I politely asked for what I paid for and told her I can hand the drink back so they can add the fruit and she said no.. she then made a new one and added embarrassing amount of fruit in it and I honestly took it as an insult. I'm not a huge coffee fan, but I love their wraps, pumpkin bread, and muffins. Their pretty little cake balls are NOT the best. I have tried multiple flavors, multiple times, trying to give them the benefit of doubt! My conclusion: they are just not good! But they have many other tasty treats! I like how Starbucks has clean food that you can trust. The spinach egg, feta, wrap is my favorite! I continue to get it every time I come. The toasted wrap adds a nice crunch to the meal. Dear Starbucks, I really don't like leaving bad reviews but apparently speaking to management multiple times has lead to ZERO improvement. Not to mention, the EXPERIENCE I've come to enjoy - quality coffee & quality service - is shot along with my morning. I don't want to start the day frustrated & feeling like I NEED to do leave a bad review to get your attention. Here's the deal - train your baristas & managers. Please! This is a recent issue and I'm going to breakup with you - after 7 years of Sat/Sun loyalty. I've spent $10 per person for to-go breakfast to enjoy while we house hunt 3 weekends in a row. After getting poorly made coffee 2 weekends in a row - and taking them back - we decided to try the drive thru to avoid another repeat - AGAIN it's poorly made. I take it inside to have it made right - AGAIN - and guess what?!?! Discovered the poorly trained/managed girl (who I'm sure is a wonderful person) is making the drive thru coffee. Seriously, how hard can it be to properly train her?! Here are two pics of offensive 5 buck drinks - one included a milk ring. The baristas are always nice and helpful when I go here but tonight was really noteworthy! I ordered online and when selecting my drink didn't think to check I'd clicked the right holiday beverage. When I got to the window, I mentioned that I meant to order a different drink when she was handing me the one I ordered. She asked me which one and they fixed it for me, when I was fully prepared to accept my mistake. Then I reminded them that I had ordered a cake pop and they went and got it for me, great attitudes the entire time. Normally, at other Sbucks locations, with stuff like that baristas are rude and short with me but all three of these baristas were very nice! It's not amazing coffee, the service is just "meh" and the barista here actually has a pretty annoying voice on the day that I came. I mean, it's one thing to be energetic and all, maybe loud and fun or whatever, but do NOT be loud just to hear your own voice, mrs. barista. ok? ok. Made my point there I think. Be cool, not annoying. The coffee is not the best coffee on the market. They're the fast-food of coffee. Great location if you're headed out hwy 121 or Glade Road. Located in the Lowes shopping center. The stores drive thru is quicker than others in the area. The Store offers wifi which is better than some of the other neighborhood coffee houses. Personally. I go for either the Caramel Frappuccino or a Trenta Black Tea over ice with 4 pumps of sugar. read more

I do not drink coffee so I rarely go to Starbucks. I came here to meet up with someone. The place was packed for a Sunday morning. We had to sit outside and the chair I was sitting in was broke. Other patrons, they must come here all the time, told me it was the broke chair and they always try to avoid that chair. This place usually has a long line. I've heard it was the busiest drive through in all of Mid Cities. They handle it like champs though. Very fast ( except for the rare occasion that annoying car orders 6 frappuccinos, 4 hot sandwiches, and pays with separate cards). Seriously though, every barista is so friendly. They recognize my order and have a small straw waiting for me even when I forget to ask for it (I order a venti ice coffee with a small straw). Hashtag blessed. I would like to express my thanks to the baristas and manager at this Starbucks. I celebrated my birthday last week, and came in to get my annual free birthday drink (I only ever splurge on drinks with syrup on my birthday, so it is something I look forward to every year!). I had to reload my Starbucks app on a new phone, and the free drink did not populate on the app. The barista said that it looked like the free birthday drink might had expired, but they honored it for me anyway. Update: downgraded to 1 star because when I went in today, I was refused a refill. She tried to charge me the full price. Yah I left. Never again - go down the street to cheeksparger. The baristas there are lovely and never fail to actually serve me. An extra star bc aside from today's lackluster experience, the other times I've been here have been decent. Ordered hot tea, got a hot latte. Not offered receipt so when I got suspicious that my usual tea cost over 4, I went asked if my order was right (I really should have asked for a receipt) but maybe I didn't ask clearly (I didn't realize my drink could be a latte bc I don't drink lattes and just asked if my tea was the hot version thinking only the cold drinks cost over 4). Too embarrassed to ask again, and order was promptly corrected when I got the wrong drink. However, it was not with the usual smiles and apologies I am accustomed to. And no refund was offered - it is a small difference I didn't fight for, but offering it would have helped me think they appreciated my business. I would have just put the difference in the tip jar....but ‍. Maybe they were too busy - but the kind of service that shines is the kind that doesn't forget its manners despite being busy.
