Needed to do a little bit of work and I was in the area so I decided to stop by. There's nothing like getting work done at a nice café and what better place to go than Starbucks. Walking in, I was instantly greeted. Staff was very attentive. This location is a bit smaller, but it has enough seating for quite a few people. They also have outlets, which is a plus. I placed my order and it came up quickly. I ordered the grilled cheese? Have you ever had Starbucks grilled cheese if you have not you are missing out. This grilled cheese is so good that I have tried to make my own rendition at home. Although there are so many things that I could order on the menu, today, I simply had a grilled cheese and a cup of water. I will be back soon for work and and a nice Matcha. read more

My friend and I placed our mobile orders to be picked up at the drive through here since we were eating lunch at Zenwich. The drive through interaction was really friendly and efficient. When I mentioned my name, they immediately said they have it ready and to come over to the window. My friend ordered a dragonfruit refresher and I ordered an iced caramel macchiato. Our order was correct, and my modifications were honored which I appreciate. We were there for no more than 3 minutes, even though they were pretty busy they handled everything really well. This is my first time picking up a mobile order at the drive through. I typically order on the spot at a drive through or walk in to pick up my drink. Kudos to this Starbucks for a great experience, and there's also plenty of free parking on premise. It's shared with other businesses in the strip, and the entrance to the drive through can be a bit confusing. read more

This is a wonderful Starbucks! For starters everyone there -even the trainees are very friendly. I've never gone in there and been mistreated. And that's not true of all Starbucks. They close the lobby without letting the app know. If they don't have the ingredients to make a drink the app will let you know not available at this store. If they close down the lobby they don't shut down the in store pick up option. This is not cool when you are expecting to get in and out. My guess is they don't want corporate Starbucks to know so instead the customers are inconvenienced. To top it off when you get to the drive up window and ask what's going on you get.... Stopped in this morning for a coffee around 6:15. Little surprised how you didn't have the standard Pike Roast brewed already. Guy at window kind of laughed it off and offered up dark roast or blonde. Not a big deal to me, cause I enjoy a dark roast, but I can see others getting upset. No one wants to really wait for their liquid gold in the morning. Service through drive through can be a little slower at this location. But it's a plus that they actually have a drive thru unlike the other location a little further into Elmhurst. read more

I come here all the time since they opened, it's so close to my work. I always get the Mango Black Tea Lemonade(my summer time favorite)for lunch and sometime to not made right but they are so nice I don't ever say anything because customer service is so good. Today however I got a salted Caramel Hot Chocolate in the morning but it ended up having some coffee in it (which I don't drink). When I came back for my lunch drink, I yelled at Ryan (well I didn't really yelled) but everyone apologize for the mistake and asked that they probably gave me a mocha ( don't really know what that is but I'm guessing coffee) Anyways, they gave me a drink on them and all were really nice about it. I didn't really care about the first drink but you know how it is when you want something and you buy it and you don't get it. However, they were super understand and are really good people. I know Starbucks is a big company and doesn't need a review for people to go there but the service here is just great and it's not just before of the name on the door but the people that work there. They have tables outside if you want some sun, the place is clean, lots of parking, 290 ramps within a block, drive thru window that's fast (I hear they push 47 cars in 30 minutes)! Never have we had a problem with getting drinks on time and we have probably gone here 200+ times. The biggest issue is that the line can get long and push out onto industrial road because people don't know that the line should wrap around the building. That's the biggest complaint but happens rarely to us. read more

The people at this Starbucks are very nice and it's one of the better locations in my experience. The only downside is that there's one woman who sometimes works here that is not consistent when she puts cream in the coffee. If she handles your order your coffee with a "regular" amount of cream is sure to be nearly black. If anyone else makes it there's a regular amount of cream. So, whenever I go I just hope someone else prepares my order and things are great. read more

This is by far the SLOWEST Starbucks I have ever been to.... and that includes the locations I have been to in the south. The first time I thought maybe it was a fluke and it's new so they're working out kinks. The second time - okay maybe it's busy? Now today, which is the 5 or 6th time, AND THE LAST, it is definitely just the people. My husband and I came here on our lunch break for some coffee before heading back to the office and literally watched the barista begin to make our latte's and then stop and start talking to her coworkers and do a million other things except finish the drinks. My husband had to actually leave WITHOUT his coffee to get back to work on time. On top of being painfully slow their drinks are never consistent and a lot of times taste watered down. Today I was informed that they plan to add more decaf tea options and that was music to my ears. This is also the first time I am seeing the Emmy's organic coconut cookies. That was an exciting find. My usual go to place. They are not too busy and the baristas are always cheerful. There are a lot of shops popping up in the last couple of years and I like this location. Plenty of parking spot, don't see high school kids throwing straw wraps at each other like other locations, they are mostly adults and college kids doing their own thing. read more

This is without a doubt the Slowest starbucks around. Plan on waiting easily 10 to 15 minutes in the drive thru.

I was just there. 7-20-17 @ 12pm and I left without my coffee. The cashier (the guy that wears the beads around his neck) is always smiling and friendly. He does a great job. I ordered 2 drinks. One for me, and one for my wife. After about 10 minutes my wife got hers. In todays world waiting 10 minutes for a coffee is a lifetime. I never got mine. I want to point out that there was no one inside the store in line in front of me. I have gone here because it is basically in front of my gym. The barista started to make it. I watched the espresso pour into the cup. I then watched her ignore it for the next 5-7 minutes. I held out for almost 20 minutes watching her talk to other employees and make drinks for the drive thu customers. While my cup just sat there. Half full. Just add the damn steamed milk and I'm out! She just wouldnt finish mine. This is the 4rth time I have been in this Starbucks. Every single time the wait gets longer and longer and longer. The first couple of times I wrote it off to them being a new location. The third time took so long I thought it was just a fluke and these things happen. At this point, I notice that they are so focused on the drive thru customers that they really just dont care how long the walk in people have to wait. Like we are an inconvenience. I've been to hundreds of starbucks and never written a bad review, and almost always had a positive experience, but I have never once had a positive experience at this one. It cost me 5 bucks to really understand that other than that cashier dude, this place just really sucks. I think my love of starbuck in general has finally hit a wall. Cant say I would never go back into a Starbucks, but it will def be rare, and it will def never be at this location. read more

Just wanted to say the Starbucks on York Rd in Elmhurst, IL (near Mariano's) was on point this am! I honestly haven't had the best service there since it opened....but they rocked it today! There was a line going out of the parking lot when I pulled up. I almost pulled out of line, thinking it would take 15 min. I'm at this particular Starbucks a lot. Twice a week for a few hours at least. Tonight, Dave, Jr., while sweeping, had a customer come in needing directions for someone on his phone. The customer handed the phone to Dave who gave lots of directions to the person on the other line, trying to get that person to the right location.
