Fortunately, Sunday afternoon, Google said they were less busy than usual, so I decided to head over. I ordered a Maple Macchiato, which was just OK. But the croissant-- oowee! I haven't had one that fresh since I got back from France, lo those many years ago. Not sure who their supplier is, but 2 thumbs up! I had planned on sitting inside at the table by the window, but when the AC kicked on, it was blowing right on me, and got downright chilly. The shadows were hitting the patio perfectly, so I grabbed an outdoor table. Unfortunately, the wind kicked up, making editing a bit of a challenge, but I definitely want to return. The place was quiet and pleasant and I can see getting a lot of work done there in the future.

My friend and I had already purchased food and wanted to share because everything was expensive, but we were basically forced to buy more. It felt less like customer service and more like being pushed into spending money. The favoritism was also impossible to ignore. I ordered a croissant and didn't receive any chips. When we asked if chips came with the order, we were told no. But the customer sitting right next to us had chips anyway. When we asked why, the only explanation we got was that they were "special." It made absolutely no sense and left us feeling singled out. A nice interior doesn't make up for rude service. The atmosphere might look welcoming, but the way customers are treated tells a completely different story. I won't be coming back, and I definitely wouldn't recommend this place unless they seriously improve how they treat people.

And I think it's great Woodrack is here because they're a nice local coffeeshop. I've come here several times to have a coffee. The lattes are great and as someone who's lactose-intolerant I appreciate the plant-based milk options they have (oat milk is my favourite). They have some breakfast and lunch options, and baked goods. These can change, but if the cinnamon bun is there you can't go wrong with that. They also have a selection of beer and wine (only place to have an alcoholic beverage in the mall). Staff is always friendly.and the owner she's a gem. I will say there's often only one person working, so there may be the occasion when there's a bit of a lineup, but it's never anything major. They gave us two dips to try with pita bread - Zeytoon Parvardeh Brined olives mixed with crushed walnuts and rich pomegranate molasses, and Mast - o - Moosir - Creamy yogurt blended with shallots and garnished with dried mint. Both were so amazing and full of flavour. Our platter also came with pickled...I want to say cabbage which was so delicious with the meat. The meat itself was well cooked and full of favour.
